08/03/2026: We had a wonderful stay at Aude and her husband's. We enjoyed a delicious meal at La Bacchante, and the bedding was also very comfortable. The guesthouse is well located, in a quiet area, but also close to beautiful places to visit in Alsace: Colmar (18 mins), Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle (11 mins), and Riquewihr (14 mins). I highly recommend it! Thank you for your warm welcome!

16/02/2026: Loyal customers treated with utter contempt. We used to come to this hotel once a year and had already stayed there three times. This year again, we traveled miles with a confirmed reservation… only to find upon arrival that the room had been canceled without any warning. No call, no message. After hours of driving and a long day, we were left without any solution in the middle of the evening. The worst part: an unpleasant and indifferent receptionist, with no apologies or help finding alternative accommodation. A hotel capable of canceling regular customers without warning is simply unreliable. Confirmed reservations and loyalty are worthless here. Absolutely avoid this hotel. Reservation: 5 people, 3 rooms under the name Progin

15/02/2026: A terrible experience at Le Coquelicot. Upon my arrival after 6 pm, my reservation had been canceled without any alternative being offered. The staff did absolutely nothing to help or suggest any solution, literally leaving me without accommodation and forced to fend for myself in the middle of the evening. An extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable situation for a hotel. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

03/09/2024: Charming restaurant located in the city center of Mulhouse. Welcoming staff! The menu is not extensive and diversified but it has what you need: pizzas, sandwiches... what we chose was very tasty. We had a great time ✨ I removed 1 star ⭐️ because of the prices which I found quite high for the dishes offered, especially for the plates (15€ minimum). This is my opinion 😊

22/09/2025: Disappointed with this Wistub we had known a long time ago. Nothing like it anymore. One dish and we left. A pie for me that looked more like a Lorraine pâté, and I went into the business. A lot of young people walking through shirtless with spirits in their hands.

01/02/2026: We ate very well there, it was an opportunity to taste Alsatian specialties and eat good rib-eye steaks, and we were recommended some very good wine to accompany the meal.

13/02/2026: Tenders menu for two, today at 7 pm. Very quick service, but the bucket of tenders arrived cold; they had clearly been cooked long before we ordered. The fries, however, arrived hot. Disappointing, and several tables were dirty even though the restaurant wasn't full. The restrooms were also dirty.

16/01/2026: The service is pleasant, the terrace comfortable in summer, and the tarte flambée is good, but I didn't understand why we couldn't order tarte flambée "to follow." I traveled 5,000 km from Canada to see my friends, and the kitchen refused to allow this principle, which is so universal in Alsace. Everyone has to order their tarte flambée at the beginning of the meal. It's also stated rather insistently that each customer must pay for one dish, as if we were going to leave with one tarte flambée to be shared among four. This detracts from Alsatian hospitality. It's a shame, especially for someone like me, an Alsatian living in Montreal, who promotes my native region.

03/01/2026: The food is barely decent, and you have to order a separate dish for each person, even if they're children. Definitely weird.

13/10/2025: Super sweet shop with lovely owner and staff. Favorite was Le Toit du Monde (?). It was very reasonably priced and you get plenty of we ordered a few and shared to try. Recommend on a chilly day for sure!

10/10/2025: No experience with teas, but the beautiful Bredermeijer teapots are very expensive, much more so than elsewhere. Not recommended for these products...

08/02/2026: We sat down for coffee and croissants. They were delicious. It's a great place for a short break while exploring the village. I recommend it. 👍🏻

09/01/2026: Catastrophic! Many products have no prices displayed, and once you've consumed them, the prices are exorbitant! Literally a tourist trap! €7 for a beer €8.50 for a hot dog €2 extra per item if eaten on the premises. Report filed with consumer affairs department.

20/02/2026: Le Hug is one of those well-known restaurants in Mulhouse, and I've eaten there several times since I moved to the city, and some things have never changed: The meat in the tartares isn't the best quality, and its freshness leaves much to be desired. The wait times are very long, which is surprising for a restaurant whose specialty is tartare, which is essentially just assembly... My friends and I waited almost an hour to be served. Then there's the service. Some of the waitresses would do well to remember that we're not "friends" and that there's a minimum level of decorum to maintain, even if it's a difficult and tedious job. Being treated condescendingly by someone who can't serve three tables without dropping a dish is simply unacceptable. Having glimpsed the kitchen, I sometimes wonder if there's even a single chef, a real one, with a diploma, overseeing this chaotic mess.
