07/08/2026: A wonderful experience at La Table des Halles. The menu is concise, but the starters, main courses, and desserts are original and well-prepared. We had a lovely time in Sainte-Maure, and the service was very pleasant!

13/07/2026: Having eaten there several times, I can assure you that the food is excellent (good value for money). The ingredients are fresh and cooked with passion (the combinations are complex...). The service is top-notch (discreet yet attentive staff). And the best part, which might make you laugh... the restrooms are very clean, and you surely know the saying... Clean restrooms, good food! 13/07/2026: A truly wonderful culinary experience. The dishes were beautiful, generous, and excellent, from the amuse-bouches to the petit fours. Excellent value for money. The only slight drawback was the wine pairing. While the wine selection complemented the dishes perfectly, we had asked at the beginning of the meal if the wine pairing included too much white wine, as we prefer red. We were only offered one glass of red wine...

04/07/2026: A well-deserved star! I thoroughly enjoyed myself from beginning to end. The 8-course menu was simply excellent and allowed me to discover flavor combinations that were as original as they were successful. Not to mention the magnificent terrace, ideal for enjoying sunny days in a very pleasant setting. Special mention to the staff, who were smiling, attentive, and highly professional. A truly wonderful gastronomic experience… so, when will they get their second star?

03/08/2026: We contacted Eric based on his social media presence. However, getting in touch was complicated: right up until two days before our wedding, we were stressed about having to answer simple questions that should have been resolved long ago (the reception venue address was requested repeatedly, the dessert selection was unclear, etc.). My husband wanted to change caterers, but I refused because we only had 15 guests. For 100 people, we would never have booked him. He had no sense of organization, a lack of transparency regarding the quote, and, to top it off, some unpleasant surprises when it came time to pay the balance. During our first meeting, he told us he was in a dispute with a client who refused to pay... and he ended up doing the same thing to us. We paid for peace of mind, but what a disappointment! My husband signed a document confirming that the staff had finished at 12:15 a.m., but Eric charged us for an additional 30 minutes, as well as an unannounced surcharge for desserts. If we were to rate only the day itself, which was managed by Guillaume and Aurore, we would have given it 5 stars. They were attentive and responsive, and all our guests appreciated them. The meal was fabulous, and they adapted perfectly to the venue. Unfortunately, that's not everything: the before and after also matter, and they left us with a bitter taste.

22/07/2026: A must-visit in the heart of Candes-Saint-Martin! A truly charming spot, nestled between the Loire and Vienne rivers, at the foot of the village's magnificent collegiate church. It's easy to see why this stop on the Camino de Santiago has such a renowned reputation. In the kitchen, Chef Paloma is simply exceptional. Her creativity and precision are evident in every dish, showcasing local produce, and everything is homemade! Truly vibrant and heartfelt cuisine. In the dining room, Caroline and Ludovic make a delightful duo: welcoming, smiling, polite, and exceptionally kind. They give this place a warm atmosphere; you immediately feel at ease. A place not to be missed if you're in the area; you'll leave wanting to return very soon!

21/07/2026: You won't find an experience like L’Auberge anywhere else in France. Ludo and Caro are wonderful owners who have a passion for wine and food. Everything is taken care of down to the last detail, the wines are fantastic, and I haven't even mentioned the amazing food yet! We ate here two days in a row because we loved it so much. We are definitely coming back next year. Both for the food and for Caro and Ludo ❤️
