22/03/2024: We came on a Friday lunchtime because they offer fish options that day. The setting is very nice! It was very busy so we waited a long time before our order was taken. However, the service was quick after that. This is unpretentious bistro cuisine, 100% homemade and mainly of French or EU origin. It was really good, with interesting combinations and seasoning! The quantity differs a little from one plate to another depending on whether you are served at the beginning or end of the service, but we left satisfied. To test !

30/03/2024: Worth a dedicated trip to Amboise Our AirBnB host recommended this place even it was not on the list of restaurant choices we researched. The surprise started with a leek soup and we wiped clean all dishes! We ordered a three course Menu Saveurs (“Flavors Menu” or perhaps special menu) for 42 euros, paired with a 2022 chenin Pierre (sauvignon blanc?) from a local vineyard Touraine Amboise (33 euro). The starter was a smoked trout tartar, main course is stuffed chicken (Medallion of poultry), and 4 cheese plate. Vegetables were very fresh, cooking was perfect, and excellent presentations. The wine topped it out - I gather we would spent 4 times in the US for the same quality. Our server was just great. The setting is on the formal side with spacious layout compared with other restaurants we visited in Loire Valley, and the location is not in the touristy drab (Pl. Michel Debré), and thus is a welcome change to typical busy venues with tourist hordes.

22/03/2024: It’s always a pleasure for us to come and dine at La Boulaye. The cuisine is fine and excellent, there is research into the flavors of each dish, surprising pairings, beautiful plates. The team is welcoming and smiling. The room is tastefully decorated. Everything is there to have a good time. Well done to the team.

24/03/2024: I had a delicious time at the Lebanese restaurant last night. The meal was excellent, full of exquisite flavors and culinary discoveries. The welcome was also warm and attentive. I highly recommend this place for an authentic dining experience.

31/03/2024: We had a lovely Easter dinner at Auberge du Bon Laboureur! I had specifically chosen this restaurant for the great reviews and having vegetarian options. The food definitely didn't disappoint and all the extras as part of the meal were a lovely touch. The service was let down by one staff member who was quite short with us but the rest of the team were lovely and very a accommodating. The overall experience was really nice!

24/03/2024: Very nice address, we had lunch outside on the magnificent old Tours square. Small front of this restaurant, where I ate the best burger, the quality meat, the delicious homemade sauces, we could talk about a "gourmet burger". Then the chocolate mousse with Batak bay, I didn't know, very flavors subtle, the boss after my questioning about this berry brought me some for me to taste and explained to me where to buy them, works with the artisans around him to purchase his products, meat, burger bread. Very professional and friendly. For two drinks, 2 burgers including a maxi, fries (homemade of course!) and two desserts, 66 euros. Good value for money given the quality of the products. I recommend!

25/03/2024: We had reservations for 7:30 p.m. Barely seated, we must have already chosen our meal, the aperitif had to be drunk quickly because the main course was served too quickly. In short, even if the food is good, the place is not friendly.

30/03/2024: An excellent discovery. 4 of us went there on a Friday evening. The service was very fast, the servers pleasant. The cuisine is very fine with a varied menu and interesting dishes. I had a dish of scallops accompanied by lemon, fennel and dill pasta and the dish was delicious with an assortment of exotic fruits for dessert with a rum/lemon granita and a white chocolate/passion fruit sauce. . I highly recommend this address!

02/03/2024: An ultra affordable and excellent restaurant. On the way on a Saturday evening starter/main course/dessert for only €25. Very hearty and very good. Don't hesitate, we will come back even if the facade doesn't look much. Everything is homemade! THANKS
