The cuisine is superb, thanks to the chef – never disappointed. Whether it's the seasoning, the intensity, the finesse, the balance, or the consistency, everything is perfect! Number one in the Loire Valley, we'll be back again and again.

14/09/2026: The service was perfect. Not too long a wait. I was a little disappointed with the food. That doesn't mean it wasn't good, but as I was saying to my friend who was with me, a good brasserie would have been just as good for a lower price.

13/07/2026: A truly wonderful culinary experience. The dishes were beautiful, generous, and excellent, from the amuse-bouches to the petit fours. Excellent value for money. The only slight drawback was the wine pairing. While the wine selection complemented the dishes perfectly, we had asked at the beginning of the meal if the wine pairing included too much white wine, as we prefer red. We were only offered one glass of red wine...

04/07/2026: A well-deserved star! I thoroughly enjoyed myself from beginning to end. The 8-course menu was simply excellent and allowed me to discover flavor combinations that were as original as they were successful. Not to mention the magnificent terrace, ideal for enjoying sunny days in a very pleasant setting. Special mention to the staff, who were smiling, attentive, and highly professional. A truly wonderful gastronomic experience… so, when will they get their second star?

06/09/2026: It's a restaurant where we regularly order delivery or takeout. We order everything (sushi, sashimi, kebabs, etc.). Everything is good and fresh.

23/08/2026: Such a great restaurant. The crispy egg starter and the angus beef tagliatta were exceptional. The service was spot on the whole night, especially in regards to wine. Our waiter gave us great recommendations and gave us tasters of two different wines he recommended before we ordered a bottle. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

13/08/2026: This great spot is well-known and highly recommended in the region, and rightly so! The atmosphere is friendly and unpretentious, with no advertising on the placemats, a small terrace, and the pink king and radishes are sublime – we loved it!

11/09/2026: I highly recommend it. The dishes are beautifully presented. The taste is divine. This restaurant truly showcases local produce through the quality of its ingredients. The drinks and some desserts, like the fruit juices and the subtle "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with vanilla mousse, homemade compote, and a square of chocolate fondant), are excellent. The arancini with virgin sauce on a bed of pea purée are a delight, and the haddock fillet with lemon sauce and baby vegetables is a real treat. I recommend this restaurant to tantalize your taste buds.

30/09/2026: Awesome! Comfortable weather at end of September. Concerned about the heat for those who visit it in summer months. Not at all handicapped accessible. But audio guide at ticket office only (when you first gain access to the property).

30/09/2026: For me, it's my favorite castle: the "Ladies' Castle," as it's more commonly known, the Château de Chenonceau is magnificent. You arrive via a central avenue. The gardens are beautiful and superbly maintained. The architecture, which spans the Cher River, gives the castle an exceptional appearance. The interior is well-decorated, the rooms are well-recreated, and you learn a little more about all the personalities who have made this castle world-renowned. IMPORTANT! If you buy your tickets online, you cannot get the audio guide; you have to buy it separately at the ticket office. We didn't know this, and we missed it…

24/08/2026: A pleasant restaurant with a decent €38 set menu. The starter was good. The main course, sweetbreads (or bellata) with tagliatelle, was swimming in sauce. There were very few pieces of sweetbread, and they were drowning in too much cream sauce. A shame and disappointing.
