09/09/2024: Very warmly recommended. Friendly welcome for our lunch. Excellent menu choices and excellent help when asking for advice. Delicious own fruity Chinon wine. The food is delicious. The small appetizers already, but our main menu is a special combination of flavors that, separately and together, ensure that you can enjoy all the flavors while enjoying a beautiful view of the river. Even though we really had expectations when we went in, we were still positively surprised by everything. A special addition to this small village that is definitely worth a stop.

25/08/2024: The Auberge de l'île is one of the best restaurants in the region, an institution. The cuisine of the chef, Pierre Koniecko, is remarkable and the service perfect. Plus, the whole team is adorable.

09/12/2025: Located at the foot of the magnificent castle, this small but incredibly welcoming establishment offers delicious food at a very reasonable price. It's well worth a visit for a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The owner and waitress are fantastic, and the chef is excellent.

06/12/2025: A welcoming and friendly place. As the room was full, we could clearly hear the conversations around us, so that was a minor drawback. The tea was good, as was the very generous portion of hot chocolate with whipped cream. The service was quick and friendly.

10/01/2025: I had never been there before. It was great! The kitchen is very good! Impeccable service! Great atmosphere! I had a Strasbourg-style crepe (I recommend +++ 🙂😃) and for dessert, I had a chocolate and coconut crepe (I don't remember its name ^^), which I recommend +++ too 😋!

04/01/2025: I already came a few years ago, it hasn't changed, everything is excellent! Friendly decoration with a good atmosphere, fast service. I had the “Bird Pond” pancake + “Citroneige” dessert pancake, I was not disappointed. I'll have to go back more often ^^
