30/09/2024: We had a great time in this brasserie. The slate is not very big but sufficient. It changes regularly. The dishes are well prepared. There is even a children's menu which is offered with main course and dessert. We recommend!
Ideal for a short stopover near the castles.
29/09/2024: Very good, homemade, menu with little choice but it's very good because it's good products. Very helpful and welcoming. A small children's chair is available. Served quickly all together. All for a more than fair price!!!

13/09/2024: Restaurant where we usually go. The crepes are delicious and the staff is always smiling and very friendly. Prices are attractive for Place Plumereau. I highly recommend.
10/09/2024: restaurant well located, quite narrow but good atmosphere. Warm and very fast service. Good food, nothing to say. Sweet pancakes are very delicious.
I will come back on occasion

15/09/2024: Ontzettend vriendelijke bediening ; lunchmenu = kleine kaart= superlekker, lekkere smaken en democratische prijs aan ingang kasteel ; bij mooi weer kan je rustig buiten eten ; aanbod van lekkere lokale wijnen .
12/09/2024: Restaurant conseillé parmi d'autres par notre hôtelier. Nous n'avons pas été déçus.
Plats faits maison avec des produits frais, et cela se sent. Carte qui varie en fonction des livraisons. Mets fins et présentation efficace.
Personnel attentif et sympathique, donnant de bons conseils notamment par rapport à la carte des vins.
Petite salle mais possibilité terrasse en fonction du temps.

30/11/2024: Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermes ! Tres bonne qualite des plats ! Nous avons pris le tartare Thaï ! Tres frais,goutu aux bonnes saveurs. Et le prix defiant toit concurrence ! Le service est aussi de qualite, elles sont tres souriantes,gentilles et de bons.conseils.
Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir et nous serons le dire autour de nous.
29/10/2024: J’y ai été à l’ouverture il y a 2 ans , il y a du changement et du renouvellement. Carte simple mais efficace. Repas délicieux et copieux. Mention spécial pour Tania, la serveuse, qui a été à notre écoute, nous a permis de passer une excellente soirée par son accueil, son humour et sa gentillesse.

Establishment deserving of its reputation.
I recommend, budget 50/60€ per person in the evening W-E which is not very expensive in the end.
22/09/2024: Great restaurant...I enjoyed the menu for €49 and an Americano as an aperitif. The service is attentive and each dish brought is explained....
The coffee is served with muscadines...touches that I really appreciate.
I highly recommend this restaurant!

01/12/2024: We took a wine pairing menu, the white wine was very good with the fish, when we switched to the red wine, we pointed out to the sommelier that it was sparkling. he agreed with the first bottle, the second was good, but the other two that followed had the same problem, there, the sommelier told us that it was normal.
So we didn't consume his bottles but we had to pay the bill.
I find this unacceptable from an establishment like this.

09/09/2024: Very warmly recommended. Friendly welcome for our lunch. Excellent menu choices and excellent help when asking for advice. Delicious own fruity Chinon wine. The food is delicious. The small appetizers already, but our main menu is a special combination of flavors that, separately and together, ensure that you can enjoy all the flavors while enjoying a beautiful view of the river. Even though we really had expectations when we went in, we were still positively surprised by everything. A special addition to this small village that is definitely worth a stop.
25/08/2024: The Auberge de l'île is one of the best restaurants in the region, an institution.
The cuisine of the chef, Pierre Koniecko, is remarkable and the service perfect.
Plus, the whole team is adorable.

17/09/2024: Magnifique! The meals were delicious and beautifully prepared, genuine Michelin style in a beautiful village. The meals and excellent wines cost the same as our pub grub the day before that did not compare. I had a delightful terrine of pike and a glass of Provence rosé after the superb amuse bouche of melon soup. The staff were wonderful and the chef greeted us personally to enquire about our dining experience. There’s also a beautiful garden dining area to enjoy in the sunshine. Thoroughly recommended

We went there on recommendations and from the welcome to the dishes to the atmosphere, finally a real restaurant worthy of the name.

21/10/2024: Meal this lunch for the first time even though I have been nearby for more than 2 years, I regret not having come earlier 😉 the place is very nice for a wine cellar, the owner as well as the staff are very pleasant. The auction board and the dishes that followed were excellent.
Little dedication to the boss, don't type the "FRONT ON" loved it ✌️.
