02/06/2024: Living in Japan for 20 years, passionate about cooking, dreaming of opening a French family cuisine restaurant in Japan and originally from Tours, I visited Nobuki for the first time this winter and I was totally amazed. I am often generous with the rating, so I am disappointed not to be able to give it a 10/5. Everything is there. The service, the products, the work of the products, the wine and Japanese alcohol list, the authenticity, the kindness, everything. Even in Japan, you have to hang on to find a restaurant of this level. Yes, it's expensive. But good products, sourced correctly, are expensive. Yes, it's only open at lunchtime, except Fridays, because yes, restaurateurs also have the right to a certain quality of life, and to maintain such a level, we cannot hire staff regardless. how to do anything when the boss is not there. Because yes, a quality Japanese restaurant doesn't operate without its chef, that's how it is. Yes, there is little choice, but you can't source products of this quality and offer 15 dishes, it's impossible. The only negative point, which we discussed with the chef, is that he does not highlight the origin of his products. He does a crazy job sourcing his vegetables and fish, and when a chef does this work, I want to know! In short, doing that in France is not easy, so great respect.

16/02/2024: The cuisine is fantastic and the staff in the dining room and in the kitchen are extremely friendly. We feasted. The restaurant has a good reputation so the room is often full, which makes it extremely noisy given its small size.

10/02/2024: We leave the restaurant tonight and wow Everyone is taken care of and the place is intimate Miguel the chef shared with us his passion for open cuisine with a South American-Asian French influence... we were at the bar in front of the kitchen.... We saw everything tasted with our eyes before our taste buds!!! We enjoyed everything our daughters too including the 14 year old INCREDIBLE 🤣 Thank you, it’s a beautiful memory for our eldest’s 20th birthday. Go while there is time... 11/06/2024: It was very good but the quantities were not there. After my starter and my main course, especially at 27 euros, I was still hungry, too bad.

05/06/2024: By far one of the best restaurants we have ever eaten in, from the miso soup to the fish trio, through the wagyu and the Argentinian beef, to finish with the coconut condensed milk and peanut ice cream, everything was simply excellent. Quality service, I recommend this restaurant with my eyes closed.

11/06/2024: The wife and I stopped off in Metz for a night. We came across Fukushima and had a late dinner. It was a great find. The food was excellent and a lovely young waitress looking after us x. If we're ever in Metz again we'll definitely be going back. Loved it xxx.

13/05/2024: We visited for dinner and had a nice time. The waitress was attentive and the food was solid. We’ve been traveling around France for a while so this was a nice break from French food. I’m also vegetarian and they had a good selection for me - a lot of their veggie rolls also had cheese in them (?) but I was able to find some without. The fish also looked good though.
