06/11/2024: Cuisine typically in the Japanese spirit: apparently Spartan but full of finesse and delicacy: Japanese refinement. Quantity perhaps a little tight for Westerners but the quality and taste are there. The little Fujiyama of taste buds in La Rochelle. The boss-chef doesn't care about the customers at all: a Professional, very pleasant indeed. The only downside is that the service is a little too long, but this is explained by the fact that the owner, alone, prepares fresh and tasty products for you and not dishes prepared in advance and that the lady is the only one to serve. . In any case, I will return there because the waiting time is rewarded by the qualitative content of your plate. Rating: 18.80/20. And the prices are particularly fair for the high quality offered. Allow around €30 per person for a complete taste treat sending you straight to the land of the rising Sun.

03/09/2024: Nothing to say after all the times we go there, the people who work there are very helpful, smiling and welcoming. The kitchen is always fresh and they know how to adapt according to the customer's request. The restaurant is always clean! I highly recommend: all their dishes 😂😍❤️

18/12/2024: It was our first time in this restaurant with my partner and we loved it!!! We arrived and were surprised by how calm the room was. It was really nice, because no music, so no hubbub. The service was impeccable with a really talented waiter, he knew how to put us at ease and it really came naturally to him. And finally, the dishes... what can I say? The food is excellent!! And I am impressed by the cooking of the ingredients which in my opinion was perfect and controlled. Everything was very tender and the taste of the curry sauce was really delicious! I can only recommend this restaurant!

26/09/2024: Delicious restaurant! Quality Japanese cuisine and very affordable menus. The “amuse bouche” are exquisite, having tested the 2 menus, I am won over! Don't hesitate, the restaurant doesn't look much from the outside but the food is incredibly good. I recommend it to you!

05/11/2024: Très décevant, un restaurant très recommandé si vous aimez les poissons de grandes surfaces, mais que vous désirez dépenser 60€ pour 4 tranches de saumon, accompagnées de maquereau (qui par ailleurs, a la première bouchée ne m'a apporté aucun goût autre que la bateau de pêche dont il provient), coquilles saint jacques et d'autres qui reflètent très bien la cuisine ASIATIQUE. Si on m'avait dit à l'avance la composition des plats qui n'est évidemment pas écrite sur la carte, j'aurais préféré jeûner. Cependant les décors et l'ambiance eux reflètent la "cuisine" que l'on est censé manger, et l'équipe est très agréable, la soupe était buvable, les boissons étaient bonnes, mais un gros point négatif sur les prix et la cuisine. Je pense que ma note est assez bien justifiée, très déçu.

02/11/2024: L'accueil est bienveillant et souriant dans ce restaurant animé en famille. Chacun connaît son rôle. Pas de vague dans le menu mais la qualité, la fraîcheur des produits sont indéniables. Le chef sait mettre en scène ses plats pour les rendre gourmands. Le service est attentionné.

27/01/2025: For my birthday, I received the €140 menu as a gift and I had an extraordinary time. The service is impeccable, the cuisine tender and delicious. The chefs cook before our eyes, it’s impressive, their technique is worth discovering. If you have the budget, it's definitely worth doing.

23/11/2024: Arrivée 30’ en retard en les prévenant, avons été très bien accueilli et compréhensif. Ils nous ont préparé une table sous 5’. Le service a été excellent. Contrairement à certains avis, nous avons été très rapidement servis (un samedi soir 20h30). Repas succulent avec tout au long une attention pour nous. Ça faisait longtemps que je n’avais pas aussi bien mangé. Merci à tous.

01/09/2024: There was no wasabi! It's the basis... it's infuriating! Also missing the cutlery and ginger (less important). The wakame salad was not good and although I like it, it clearly lacked freshness. The spring rolls are undercooked: when the dough is still white it lacks crispness. I would also have liked the spring rolls to have salad and mint but that's personal. The coleslaw is good. Decent ravioli, maybe a little more filling is missing. The sushi is good, too bad the wasabi was missing!

22/09/2024: The service and the rolls are quality. The à la carte rolls are delicious! Ephemeral terrace in summer, until the end of October in theory.

15/12/2024: Super jap in a warm atmosphere, skewers over a wood fire (we find fewer and fewer of them!) Impeccable service and consistent pricing. I highly recommend!
