Warm welcome, professional and friendly staff, nice decor, really delighted 👍 and the plates nicely decorated without being over the top and above all with flavor, homemade at last!!! Adequate quantity, for lovers of good meat, choose the rib-eye steak, I recommend it (in the user's photo, the second piece offered) because it's a real rib-eye steak, its size and taste 😍🤤👌very good experience, keep it up and you'll go far

09/01/2026: As a long-time regular at this restaurant, I have to say that the quality of both the service and the food has declined significantly. Zen Sai used to be one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Toulouse, but for the past few months, it's clear that the effort has waned. The service is often slow and poor (sometimes even unpleasant), the food is less tasty, and the wasabi and ginger are horribly dry, as if they've been sitting in the fridge for days… It's still a good restaurant, but I've come to expect much better.

09/01/2026: I'm very disappointed by the decline in quality at this restaurant, not to mention the mediocre service. I don't know if it's due to a change in management, but it's a shame. I noticed that the rice they use is definitely not sushi rice. For the price, you can find much better elsewhere.

06/11/2025: Having occasionally picked up a Too Good To Go order from the Nogent sushi shop, I signed up for a basket on Sunday evening with a 10 pm pickup. The lateness is fine; that's the site's principle, and I'm used to it. On previous occasions, the bags were already prepared, and I was discouraged from bringing my own. But last Sunday, I was "greeted" by a young newcomer I didn't know, who started lecturing me about a bag! So, I could have done without the lecture at 10 pm from the newbie. I left with the meager haul of the day (the worst basket I've ever had, and the maki were incredibly bland, see photo). So, gentlemen of Sushi Shop, treat your customers with a little more consideration and avoid lecturing; say it politely. A word to the wise.

Bonnes bières japonaises. Produits frais de qualité. Petites portions bien arrangées. Des goûts inhabituels, délicats. Parfait pour se dépayser et anticiper le programme culinaire du futur voyage au Japon ;) Prix corrects.

24/01/2026: I must say that this is an authentic Japanese restaurant in Paris that doesn't cost a fortune. I was impressed with the food quality. Also, the variety of food was amazing. I felt like I was at a Japanese restaurant in Japan. I would suggest not to get an eel rice bowl if you know the quality of eel in Japan. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant to go to if you miss an authentic Japanese food.
