28/08/2024: Amazing bento and really authentic. This place has been here for decades and known by the connoisseur. Better take away as there are very few places and it ia tiny.
25/08/2024: Yummy food, nice owner but too small to sit and eat there so takeaway is the only option plus queues can get long as it is very popular so get there early!

30/07/2024: Satisfied. The sushi is prepared in advance but is fresh. The restaurant is clearly geared towards take-out. They also do delivery. The service is impeccable and the places are clean. 27 € for what is in the photo.
Very quiet place.
I recommend.
It just lacks sashimi for my taste.

21/06/2024: I haven't been back to Taisho Ken -Umami An since it opened almost 20 years ago 😳! At the time, we mainly ate okonomiyaki prepared on a hot plate. A Japanese canteen for lunch, an izakaya (sake bar. That hasn't changed too much and it's great 👍. I ordered a Toriteri Ontama don Chicken cooked in teriyaki sauce on a bowl of rice and its soft-boiled egg. Delicious! The service from the Japanese staff is very friendly. The prices are affordable for a canteen just a stone's throw from the Champs Elysées.

30/07/2024: My favorite tea room. The teas are excellent for a very good quality/price. There is also a hot water machine. A pot of tea can therefore be used several times. Also, the staff are always lovely.
25/07/2024: The food was good, but the table layout was a little poorly done and the waitress kept hitting me in the back...

20/09/2024: Je suis partie avec mes copines,toutes gentilles on a dépensé 250€ et une serveuse au nom de Sarah apparemment nous a super mal traité à poser les verres d’une manière très agressive, à nous demander si on avait les codes de nos carte pour la seconde addition alors qu’on a déjà payé une première à 200e et qu’on voulait juste le paiement sans contact je sais pas si le souci de cette personne était nos origines étrangères ou de la misogynie mais en tous les cas c’est une personne extrêmement désagréable et méchante gratuitement je ne reviendrai plus vous venez de perdre une habituée !! 18/09/2024: Restaurant biedt een verfijnde eetervaring met een uitstekend menu en hoogwaardige ingrediënten. De sfeer is warm en uitnodigend, perfect voor zowel informele als speciale gelegenheden. Het personeel is attent en professioneel, wat bijdraagt aan een aangename ervaring. De gerechten zijn prachtig gepresenteerd en de smaken goed in balans. De drankkaart is uitgebreid en zorgvuldig samengesteld. Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is goed. Al met al een aanrader voor liefhebbers van verfijnde gerechten.

27/08/2024: Bon la serveuse et cuisinière super gentil et serviable. Mais part contre les prix son démesuré vraiment 10€ pour un tout petit plat de topokki et 9€ pour 4 malheureux bimpa cela est très chère pr se que c’est . Bon le barbecue bien sauf qu’ont ne peut pas le faire seule bref allez y pour des découvertes culinaire mais mieux vaut aller au Luxembourg.
16/08/2024: La serveuse était certes très gentille et serviable mais cela ne compense pas les prix démesurés du menu et de la quantité servie…
Payer 18e pour 5 sushi, 22e pour un bibimbap sans viande et une quantité très faible… très peu pour nous.
Le poulet frit coreen était très moyen également.
Nous avons testé mais nous ne reviendrons plus.

06/08/2024: Endless waiting 3 people for barely 20 people no organization 1 hour of waiting for nothing they go around in circles we don't know what they are doing they keep telling you "it happens" they constantly give you a plate and we wait again... to believe that he defrosts the fish to order. Really if you want to stay 3 hours in a restaurant with half that time to wait, go for it.
27/07/2024: The sushi is excellent!
The California rolls are not elaborate enough, too "simple" and a little messy, for example the knife is too rubbery and the asparagus is too hard.
Note that the products are fresh.

27/06/2024: It's been my Japanese canteen for years. The skewers are cooked on a barbecue, which gives them a little something extra that I love and I'll let you discover the rest of the menu.
Everyone is pleasant. In short, you will have understood that I like to go there alone or with friends who themselves go back without me. For me it is a very good address.
