No frills and simplistic decor but REAL Japanese and a menu that also offers makis and sushi although of course there is some. It took us a little time to get to grips with the menu but we really liked what we tasted and the attentive welcome from the owner. To be redone and distributed

20/08/2024: We love coming to Negishi, it's our favorite restaurant with my husband in Valenciennes. But there isn't much room inside so it's better to book when you plan to go!

01/09/2024: We were looking for a good sushi restaurant in Toulouse and we were recommended Tokami in Labège: we were not disappointed, the dishes are fresh, aesthetic and above all delicious. The restaurant offers sushi, makis, sashimi but also meat and fish skewers, curries and udon. Everything is excellent. We will come back for sure.

31/08/2024: Restaurant with friendly staff but quite long waiting time. The restaurant terrace is infested with rats which run along the terrace and in the boxes stored on it as well as in the adjacent bushes. It would be more appropriate to warn customers before installing them on the terrace. Small gesture made with the miso soups offered following these guests who bother us. It would be good to act against these pests in a restaurant or to close the terrace.

30/07/2024: I went to Nikko Japanese Restaurant last night, and it was an absolutely deplorable experience. First of all, the service was incredibly slow, and the staff seemed disinterested and rude. We waited over 30 minutes before someone came to take our order, and another hour before receiving our food. As for the food, it was far from authentic or tasty. The sushi tasted strange and was clearly not fresh. The rice was poorly cooked, and the fish had a questionable smell. Additionally, the portions were ridiculously small for the exorbitant price. Even hot dishes, like tempura, were greasy and tasteless. The atmosphere of the restaurant didn't help. The decor was kitsch and outdated, and the place was seriously lacking in cleanliness. Crumbs and stains were visible on the tables and chairs. To top it off, the air conditioning was either too strong or non-existent, making the atmosphere extremely uncomfortable. In summary, this Japanese restaurant should be avoided at all costs. A real culinary disaster and a waste of time and money. I will certainly never return and I strongly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a good evening.

11/08/2024: We come and we leave with our bento. Freshly prepared on site by the home and the team. Typical Japanese cuisine without clichés and fresh. A few seats at the counter. Taste, balance and finesse. This restaurant is one of the secret places to discover. The price is affordable for the quality. The quantities are sufficient. We keep the flavors in the mouth even after finishing the bento. Thank you.

02/07/2024: Un bento préparé presque sous vos yeux aux saveurs exquises, un choix limité mais suffisant et d'excellents mochis. Avec un peu de chance, on peut déguster sur place (environ 6 places assises !), mais c'est aussi très bien à emporter. L'atout : la rapidité de préparation. Je recommande le bento kaarage.
