16/11/2025: Two friends had reserved a room at the bar starting at 9 pm for the evening. Upon arrival, the owner explained that the reserved room wasn't yet available because a group was watching a match. We finally arrived at 11 pm, two hours after the agreed time. Then, when the friend who had reserved the room for a birthday party set up his own speaker and started playing music, the owner, furious, unplugged it. It's worth noting that during the reservation process, one of the bar staff had specifically advised us to bring our own speakers. Trying to find a solution, the owner refused any compromise and remained incredibly unpleasant. Avoid this bar at all costs! Especially since the drinks are on average twice as expensive as at other bars in the neighborhood.

11/03/2026: Very good restaurant with a wide selection. I really enjoyed the MB1 set menu, except for the beef and cheese which, in my opinion, wasn't very good.

23/02/2026: You'd think Shrek was slimier... unacceptable, the sushi and California rolls were inedible. No lasting effects yet, but I'm going to have a truly shitty night, in the literal sense.

19/05/2026: My partner and I love this place for its udon noodles. They're nice and chewy and absolutely delicious. But we keep coming back for the shrimp tempura, which is incredibly crispy and addictive. There's often a long wait, except on lucky days, but the service can be quite fast. One small drawback, though: the restrooms could be cleaner.

17/05/2026: I highly recommend it. The noodles were excellent, and the accompanying sauce was even better. The portion size was also very generous. The atmosphere is warm and peaceful, the service is quick, and the staff are welcoming. I ordered the Tanuki Zaru Udon.

15/04/2026: Simply the best sushi in Lyon in this price range. The quality can vary from night to night, but they are always excellent; their fish is incredibly flavorful. I have a slight reservation about the hot dishes; I think they detract from the experience, as they aren't their strong point. Their tataki, in particular, is indescribably succulent. Try them with some of the salmon and avocado California rolls, which have some of the best filling-to-rice ratios I've seen in France. I've been a loyal customer since 2013 and I'm still going—don't hesitate!

27/01/2026: With great location just next to the river Saône in Lyon. As an asian who uses to have the taste of Ramen, I would say that all food are fresh and well prepared. However, if you use to have Ramen in Asia, with standard of gourmet demander, I strongly suggest not trying it as it is totally different from those great Japanese Ramen chains and you will be really disappointed. On the other hand, their Gyoza with Saint-Jacques et encornets are delicious especially compared to Gyoza with Pork. If you were there, really have to give it a try. In terms of service, all staffs are super friendly. Very Japanese style service. However, those who took orders are not as professional as in a restaurant as they don't take the order by persons who entered the store first and they missed served our order until we reminded them. Overall, it is a nice experience but I don't think that I will re-visit it again as the Ramen doesn't reach my expectation. However, it is still good for those who like to try fresh-made Japanese ramen in Lyon.
