14/06/2026: Yesterday, I went to the Sun Café restaurant/bar with three other people, and we left extremely disappointed with our experience. The service was very slow and drawn out from beginning to end. We consumed a lot of food there, which wasn't good, including about five bottles of wine, and I must admit that the wines served were decent. However, the quality of the service left much to be desired. We were greeted and served rudely by three employees: a dark-haired man with glasses, another with shoulder-length hair, and a third, blond man of Portuguese origin, who arrogantly pretended to be French. Their attitude made the atmosphere particularly unpleasant. Beyond the excessive wait and lack of courtesy, what shocked us most was how the situation ended. We had a very unpleasant exchange with two employees and felt intimidated, with the feeling that the incident could have escalated into an assault. Going to a restaurant isn't just about the quality of the food and drinks: respect, politeness, and attentive service are essential. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences we've had in an establishment of this type.

24/10/2026: We booked a table, but couldn't get a seat. After waiting 20 minutes and several requests to be seated, we gave up, very disappointed.

30/09/2026: I think they've changed chefs... The miso ramen was too salty, and the pork pieces were way too big and rubbery (I've never seen anything like it 😬). Otherwise, the sushi was good. The ramen photos I posted are outdated. That was back when they actually took the time to cut the nori sheet into three pieces 😔.

06/10/2026: As usual, the best sushi in Rouen! The fish is incredibly fresh and melts in your mouth, and the skewers are delicious! I especially recommend the chicken balls 😋

12/10/2026: A memorable €14.90 set menu with a flavorful miso soup (perhaps a touch more seaweed would have been nice) and an absolutely delicious yoko. Thank you to the chef. I will definitely be back when I return to Toulouse.

14/07/2026: I went there with two friends today since all of the other restaurants in the area around our hotel are sketchy. The people there were extremely nice, the food was done quickly and tasted amazing. The prices were completely okay for the amount and quality of the food. My vegetarian friend had a lot of good options too. Can definitely recommend.

The salmon and avocado chirashi was excellent and, above all, very generous 😋 The salmon was fresh, the avocado perfectly ripe, and it was definitely a satisfying portion. The sushi was also very good. Warm welcome, friendly service, and excellent value for money. I'll definitely be back!

25/09/2026: High expectations, but the staff is friendly and incredibly welcoming. I had the kunitora; the broth was clear and flavorful, but a little lacking in depth for my taste. The udon and salsify were delicious.

09/10/2026: We discovered this restaurant by chance, as most restaurants are closed between 3 pm and 7 pm, and we love sushi. We weren't disappointed! The sushi was simply delicious, and the service was excellent. We highly recommend it. Thank you!

05/10/2026: I went there twice. The first time, the caramel pork was way too sweet; it was so cloying it felt like I was eating sugar cubes. :/ The second time, I ordered a bento box: the beef was a total rip-off (just fat disguised by sauce; I couldn't eat anything, it was literally all fat and zero meat). The salmon in sauce was the same; they use salmon skin coated in sauce so you can't see it, resulting in inedible food. I think they serve the leftover salmon from the sushi... The only things that were good were the spring rolls and the hakao, but even then, you can find better options elsewhere for less money. Very, very disappointed!!!!
