18/01/2026: Neo Sushi is located in the Part-Dieu shopping center. The place is quite small, but you can eat in. Hygiene-wise, everything seemed fine to me. This is my second time there. The first time, I had the crispy chicken rice (I'm not sure of the exact name), and honestly, it was so delicious! The second time, I ordered the same thing, along with some sushi. You can really tell the ingredients are fresh and prepared on-site with care. As for the service, I'd say it depends on the cashier. The first time, the cashier was smiling and pleasant. The second time, she was much less welcoming, but she remained polite. Honestly, based on the reviews already left, I had a good experience overall. I'll definitely be back! See you soon.

14/01/2026: Excellent!! The sushi is delicious, fresh, and very well prepared. You can really taste the care and quality in every bite. The gentleman who prepares the sushi is very friendly, welcoming, and makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

14/03/2026: A cold and rushed welcome. An hour before closing time, the first thing we were told, once seated and without even having the menu in hand, was, "We're closing in an hour!!" No further welcome whatsoever. Barely two minutes after receiving the menu, they came to take our order, and so on, relentlessly... We hadn't even finished our starters before the main course was on the table. And before we'd finished the main course, the bill was there too, which hardly encourages us to continue our meal with dessert, coffee, or simply chatting with friends. On top of everything else, it was just a mediocre meal. I do not recommend it.

23/02/2026: Lovely place to have a quick bite for lunch or dinner. Staff is friendly and the food and price comp. Food was amazing especially the salmon and the tuna. Bentobox did look pre-made. Perhaps serve it in a plate or a proper dish for more ambiance look

14/02/2026: The order took an extremely long time to arrive, and one waitress was pleasant, but the other was not. It took over an hour to receive a dish.

27/02/2026: I've been ordering from there for years and I'm increasingly disappointed. I don't know if it's a change of ownership, but the portions are shrinking drastically and the delivery is taking longer and longer. Also, the little extra perk they used to give as a loyalty bonus is gone! Inflation has taken its toll.

14/12/2025: Excellent customer service on the phone, regardless of who I spoke to. Fast delivery. Fresh and delicious food. I order often.

18/02/2026: Avoid at all costs! A very bad experience. The service was excessively slow: we waited over an hour for our food, and after an hour we had only received two bowls of miso soup. Each time the waitresses came by, we asked about our order, but received no real answer. After waiting so long, we decided to order takeout. That's when things got worse: we were confronted by a particularly unpleasant cashier/manager who demanded immediate payment even though we hadn't eaten. There was no apology for the wait, no gesture of goodwill, and no attempt to make things easier. Faced with this complete lack of professionalism and consideration, we were forced to leave the establishment. We were very disappointed by this experience. We will not be returning.

16/02/2026: We waited an hour and a half and still hadn't been served except for one bowl of soup and one cabbage roll. We had specifically mentioned having a meeting at 2 PM…

18/02/2026: My favorite Japanese restaurant! No other restaurant in the area can match the quality of service. I've taken my family and friends there, and every Friday my colleague and I order beef noodles. Other Japanese restaurants don't know how to make them; they use Chinese noodles, but these are really very good. My colleague, whom I suggested come and try the beef noodles, can't get enough of them. Every Friday we come to eat beef noodles. They also have vegetarian noodles. The service is very warm and friendly, with a great atmosphere. I forgot to mention that the Japanese dishes are very delicious and beautifully presented.

10/01/2026: The miso soup was okay. However, the mixed chirashi left much to be desired... too much rice for not enough fish, which is a shame; I've had better. I don't know if it was mackerel or eel, but it didn't seem fresh, or it looked undercooked... Otherwise, the salmon, tuna, and sea bream were fine. It's a shame to pay €20 for so much rice, so little fish, and such a small starter...

21/02/2026: To those who don't know authentic Japanese food, this is not a Japanese restaurant, and the taste is not authentic at all. If you are Japanese, you can tell right away. The rice is not Japanese rice, smells terrible, and the presentation is far from authentic. Vegetables are roughly cut, far from the Japanese standard. If you want to eat real Japanese food, the key is to see if the restaurant has any good reviews from Japanese customers. I was tired, so I went in and ordered without checking the reviews, and by the time I realized it, it was too late: this restaurant is not run by a Japanese company. The food was inedible, served by people who don't know anything about Japanese cuisine, the Japanese tea was so bad it was no longer tea, and the presentation was a complete mess. I'm worried that people will get the wrong idea about what Japanese food is. I don't want a place like this to call itself a Japanese restaurant. Everyone, please be careful not to make the mistake!

20/03/2026: I didn't know salmon pizza was Asian… The chicken tasted like HDMI cable. Quite expensive compared to the competition.

16/03/2026: I went there several times. But at the end of February, there wasn't much choice left for dinner. And some of the products didn't have the desired taste or freshness. A shame 🤔

07/12/2025: The tables facing each other make it feel more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. The aisles are too narrow for easy passage. The food is cold. The vegetables are undercooked. There isn't much choice of appetizers or desserts.

06/12/2025: Very poor welcome, cold food, limited menu choices. We had a reservation and they made no effort to seat us. Very disappointed and we won't be returning.

06/03/2026: WARNING!! I went to this restaurant two days in a row. Honestly, it looked great on paper, the service was very fast, the food was quite good, and the prices were very reasonable. But unfortunately, I had a VERY BAD experience! On my first visit, I noticed GLUTEN-FREE soy sauce on the table. Being celiac and very sensitive to gluten, I was delighted and confidently dipped my sushi in it. In the late afternoon, I started feeling very tired, bloated, and had a headache. But I attributed it to something else and didn't question my lunch. I was careful to avoid any possible cross-contamination with sushi containing fried onions, etc. Pleased with my discovery, we went back for lunch today. I asked for the GLUTEN-FREE soy sauce that was available on several tables around us, except ours. And then they tell me that all the sauces are the same and that they refill the bottles once they're empty! Honestly, IT'S A SCANDAL!!! You can't leave bottles labeled GLUTEN FREE when they're not!! This needs to change. Unfortunately, I therefore do not recommend it.

14/12/2025: Dirty restaurant, bad smells, not suitable for eating in; half the restaurant is used as a drinks storage area. The service is pleasant. The food… a disgrace. Salmon served at room temperature, overcooked rice turned to mush. Three sesame seeds on a maki roll, no ginger in the sushi box, and wasabi was a strange color. Tasteless skewers. First and last time. €19 is too expensive to get sick.

24/01/2026: I just placed a €50 order and after waiting for over an hour, the delivery driver refused to come upstairs, so I had to go downstairs. He got in the car and I had to go downstairs in the rain. I didn't have time to check the order, and I realized a sauce was missing for the spring roll. I decided to call, and the manager told me they didn't have time to deliver the sauce. Then, overhearing a delivery driver in the background saying he wasn't going to come down for a sauce, she hung up on me. I find this unacceptable.

15/01/2026: The restaurant manager is truly the kindest; she makes the sushi even better. I love coming to or ordering from Asiakeo because of her. Well done, madam!
