16/07/2026: Honestly, it's just okay. They advertise all-you-can-eat, but some dishes aren't, like the sashimi, for example. Besides, I've seen quality dishes advertised as all-you-can-eat without any restrictions on certain items. And don't even get me started on the waitresses, who are older and unfriendly. If you have a choice, you can find quality Japanese restaurants elsewhere.

01/12/2025: We ordered through Uber Eats. Once the order and payment were complete, I immediately noticed an error in the restaurant's address. I didn't have the option to cancel or modify the order through the app. So I called the restaurant. The person I spoke to told me it wouldn't be possible to cancel because they had too many orders and it would take too long to go to the kitchen and search using my name. Then the manager took the phone and tried to explain why my order couldn't be canceled. I confess I didn't understand any of the explanations. It was impossible to communicate with this person, who was clearly more frustrated by the situation than I was. We regret having experienced this ridiculous and unprofessional behavior.

14/07/2026: I got sick after eating sashimi from that restaurant; I vomited all night.

23/05/2026: Shameful: I've been coming here for years, my orders are always a certain amount, but yesterday I had a problem with my card (my spending limit couldn't be increased). I work on the next street over, so I offered to leave my ID and come back to pay that same evening... no exceptions, no negotiation possible. I spent 40 minutes trying to find a solution, under the amused gaze of their owner, who doesn't speak a word of French. I won't be going back. It's a shame you've lost a regular customer.

21/06/2026: Unfortunately, this experience did not live up to my expectations. I found the sushi particularly disappointing, with a quality and flavor that failed to impress me. The restaurant's ambiance didn't help me enjoy the meal any more: I found it rather gloomy and unwelcoming, with a somewhat oppressive atmosphere. Ultimately, nothing made me want to return. One visit was enough for me, and I don't plan to repeat the experience.

17/03/2026: We used this restaurant for a family birthday celebration, and everything was wonderful. The staff were very kind, and the food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was great, and we had a wonderful time as a family. We would definitely like to come again!

02/07/2026: Avoid at all costs... I'm a shopkeeper in the neighborhood, I tried it and it all went straight in the bin! Not fresh, poorly made, undrinkable soup. Save your money!

16/09/2025: It was with a heavy heart that I went to Kaiten today for the last time. Like many regulars (who were here today), we frequented the restaurant for over 10 years. The atmosphere was truly special, familial, and unique. This was undoubtedly due to the exceptional care and attention of the staff. Of course, we won't find Japanese cuisine of this quality again anytime soon… We wish the Kaiten team all the best and hope to see you again someday, perhaps on another project! Thank you! Thomas

15/05/2026: In my opinion, the best sushi restaurant in Val-d'Oise! The fish is top quality, very fresh, and the skewers are excellent—far superior to those at other restaurants in the area. I highly recommend this place! The only slight downside is the prices, which are a bit high, but the quality of the ingredients more than justifies it. ☺️

11/04/2026: Slow service, bland, tasteless ramen with an excess of mushrooms compared to the meager amount of noodles served with fried chicken soaked in broth, and overcooked gyozas. Avoid.

06/06/2026: The dining room was quite welcoming. The service was acceptable. However, the food left much to be desired (Sunday evening, May 31st). The beef and cheese skewers were inedible. And the other skewers weren't any better. The gyozas were edible but undercooked.

06/06/2026: For the first time in my life at a restaurant, I practically left everything on my plate because it was so unappetizing. I thought they'd microwaved it, it was so surprisingly undercooked and tasteless. I'll never go back, without a doubt. The service, however, was decent and the dining room was quite pleasant.

17/04/2026: The food was okay. However, there was a major logistical problem; the wait for takeout orders was unbearably long. For example, my order was prepared this evening 45 minutes late (even though it wasn't a large order). Not an apology, not a gesture of goodwill, nothing, even though I was waiting alone in the entrance. Very disappointing.

02/06/2026: My sweetheart and I added a word to your restaurant's name: We don't say "on se faire un sushi top" (we're having a sushi feast), we say "on se faire un sushi top festin" (we're having a sushi feast!). Anyway, it shows how much we enjoy our meals here. I've gotten into the habit of ordering two dishes and saving one for the next day so I don't regret my choice. Whether it's the pad thai, the noodles, or the rice tartare, it's always delicious. I think this is actually the first review I've ever left for a restaurant. So yes, the price increase wasn't welcome, which is understandable, but for a long time, the prices were very low compared to other restaurants. You only have to do your grocery shopping anywhere to realize that inflation is everywhere. In any case, the prices are still reasonable considering the quality of the food.
