07/01/2026: We just ordered three takeout dishes, supposedly different… Honestly, it's quite shameful for Lebanese cuisine. The tabbouleh was completely tasteless, the meat was incredibly tough and ice cold, and the potatoes were cooked the day before and were cold. Three different dishes, exactly the same… meaning three completely tasteless dishes. It's nothing like the restaurant we knew a few years ago… I think you either need to re-evaluate your approach or change your line of work! Shameful! Because I see the reviews, I'm thinking either they really messed up one evening, or these people have never eaten at a Lebanese restaurant! This deserves a 100% refund.

01/11/2025: One of the best restaurants in Porto-Vecchio. The welcome was incredible. The chef is phenomenal. An out-of-this-world rum selection. A truly wonderful evening.

07/10/2025: A slightly bohemian and over-the-top restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered aubergines à la Bonifacienne, reminiscent of our eggplant parmigiana but with a more local twist. For our main course, the porc was incredibly flavorful and tender (and not overly fatty, as is often the case with pork); we truly enjoyed it. Finally, we tried the local chestnut dessert, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a few pieces of strawberry...it was amazing! The prices were a little higher than we're used to in Italy (but nothing outrageous). I don't know if it's comparable to other restaurants in Corsica, but we highly recommend everything we ordered from A Furtezza! The service was a little slow, but we weren't in a hurry and had a pleasant evening in this unique place.

14/01/2026: A simple and very welcoming place. The service is courteous. The decor is what you'd expect from an oriental restaurant: simple yet exotic. From the moment you enter, the aroma of spices whets your appetite. The ambiance is subdued and very soothing. The music isn't too intrusive and adds to the feeling of being transported. The menu is simple but varied. We had an egg brik and a kefta brik as starters. Both were generous starters, crispy and well-filled, served with a side salad. For our main courses, we had a kefta tagine and a lamb tagine with honey, figs, walnuts, and almonds. Delicious! The spices were perfectly balanced. The portions were just right. You can accompany your tagine with either couscous or bread. Finally, we finished with mint tea and a pastry. The waiter will bring a tray of pastries so you can choose. The value for money is excellent. It's affordable and high-quality.

08/12/2025: The concept of a brick pastry is, in theory, something comforting: a beautiful crispy sheet, melting mashed potatoes, a generous filling, a runny egg, sometimes even cheese… In short, you know what to expect. Here, they've clearly decided to reinvent poverty: a sheet of brick pastry, a few dry crumbs of kefta, all for €8.50. Bravo for the effort. As for the couscous, let's just say the semolina was clearly prepared hastily (or not at all), the broth is just about acceptable, the chicken is decent, and the homemade harissa deserves a mention. When you pay that price, you have the right to expect a minimum of refinement, don't you? Apparently not here. Frankly, go grab a kebab instead; at least you'll feel like you're eating something.

15/11/2025: The decor was very pretty, the restrooms were clean, but it was cold in the restaurant in November. The bread was stale, the prune tagine was average in taste, the pastilla was good, the fries were frozen… communication with the waitress left much to be desired…

11/01/2026: Our favorite restaurant, owner was friendly and was very passionate. Very chic space with lots of character. Everything on the menu is recommended but you must get the fig dessert crepe if it’s available. Will forever return to Gigi whenever we are back in the city

05/12/2025: A real gem! We come regularly, and each visit is a renewed pleasure. The welcome is always exceptional: the owners are lovely, smiling, attentive, and passionate about their work. You can really feel that they love their customers, and that makes all the difference. A huge plus: dogs are welcome! Our four-legged friend is welcomed like a member of the family, which is so rare and precious. The quality of the food, the friendly atmosphere, and the impeccable service have made us loyal customers. It has become our go-to spot. Well done to the whole team, don't change a thing!

07/07/2025: Dinner on the edge of the harbor. The starter was the tuna tartare, highly recommended! Ordered based on the recommendation of the last reviewer. The fries were okay, it's a matter of taste. I personally prefer thin ones. The salad and dressing were great - a total of 5 ⭐️ The main course was mussels 🐚 They were a bit bland. Still, the mussels were great value for money. I'd love to try more seasoning next time. Still recommended.

29/11/2025: A fantastic Lebanese restaurant! The portions are generous, flavorful, and very affordable for the neighborhood. Special mention goes to the homemade bread and the mezze, which are fresh and perfectly seasoned. The service is quick and friendly, perfect for a quick lunch or a casual meal with friends. It's a sure bet with a smiling team. Highly recommended! 👍

28/11/2025: Food: - Kibbeh and pastries were reheated in a microwave, not fresh; maybe they would have been better if they were frozen and freshly fried when ordered or at least reheated in an oven. Flavor wise, meh. - Grape leaves: mostly rice, not enough lemon juice; pass - Chicken Shawarma - flavor is good, bread was fresh, however, again, they used chicken that was already shaved and reheated it in a microwave rather than freshly shaved off the rotisserie - I suppose not enough customers at the time we came by to keep it fresh. - Topoly wrap - The minced meat and cheese combo just didn’t taste good to us. Service: - Very friendly server/host. - Questionable hygiene; cook touched his arm and clothes with his gloved and ungloved hand. Need to be more careful, especially when food prep area is on full display to customers. Overall? The bread is good and the price is cheap, but I wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience - maybe better luck around opening time.

28/10/2025: The welcome and service were perfect. The tasting platter was a delight. The charcuterie and cheese were excellent! The setting is very traditional and creates a very pleasant atmosphere. In short, a great place!

The experience was enjoyable, the atmosphere pleasant, and above all, the food was delicious and very generous. The all-you-can-eat Syrian buffet offered a wide variety of tasty and well-prepared dishes.
