01/09/2026: We ate at Hélia on August 16th, just before they closed for summer vacation. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. After placing our order, we had to wait 20 minutes before being informed that several of the items we had chosen were no longer available. A regrettable lack of foresight. Furthermore, the quality of the dish did not match what was advertised: I had ordered hot bulgur wheat prepared in the traditional way and received what looked very much like kısır (cold bulgur salad). The service was far too slow to inform us of stock shortages and errors in the dishes served. Very disappointing.

26/08/2026: Excellent little unpretentious restaurant... Real student vibe. Low prices, yet the open-faced sandwiches and salads are fresh. Homemade desserts, especially the blueberry tart, yum! And a special mention to the attentive and friendly waiter. The outdoor terrace is very pleasant 😁

26/08/2026: We had a great time at Bar Ginette on Cours Albert Thomas! We had a tartine with a salad, and it was delicious. The place is friendly, pleasant, and clean. The staff are incredibly kind, smiling, and welcoming. A special mention to the staff for their friendliness 😊 We had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend it!

13/09/2026: I absolutely fell in love with Le Moment 🦩✨ I adored the flamingo theme, which resonates so much with me: creative, colorful, and full of poetry. And the portions were so generous! Hearty, flavorful dishes and a lovely shared experience. This is a place that truly touched me and that I will cherish as a memory. 💕

12/09/2026: The perfect place to have a great time! We've been coming for several years now, and it's become our regular spot. The pizzas are amazing and generous! I love coming here for a good piece of meat or fish. Being right by the sea, the food is fresh, the ingredients are excellent, and the prices are low for the quality of the dishes! (And what I love most of all are the fries 😋) They have local wines and beers—everything we love! Fast service and a warm welcome make it a great place to unwind in this relaxed, casual atmosphere. I'm really looking forward to seeing the new winter menu (coming soon) Even though I never tire of the dishes, it's even more enjoyable to see the menu change with the seasons and rediscover it ☺️ Even the children's portions are generous, and it was so delicious that the adults might have helped themselves! I still recommend booking in advance, especially in the evenings and on weekends! And the best part: they even offer takeaway pizzas for a picnic on the nearby beach ☺️ Plus, it's a very safe restaurant for people with allergies. Allergens are listed right next to the bar, and they've already been able to make slight modifications to dishes to accommodate my allergies, so I highly recommend it. In any case, you can call ahead to make sure their menu meets your dietary restrictions (that's what I did, and I got the answers before even arriving).

03/09/2026: Absolutely excellent! I placed an order today and called the restaurant because I saw it listed as closed on Google. When I spoke to the woman on the phone, she told me that orders were normally closed, but she was incredibly kind and prepared my order even though she wasn't supposed to! She was so lovely, I highly recommend this place! Plus, the portions are generous and delicious!

The staff is incredibly welcoming, the dishes are delicious and beautifully presented (kudos to the Chef and his team 😉), the decor is gorgeous... 09/09/2026: I've eaten there several times and I'll be back. It's modern cuisine, so don't expect traditional Basque food; it's more like a Parisian bistro with a Basque, even Spanish (rich) touch. The meat is very good, but the seafood dishes (tuna, octopus) are just okay in comparison. However, we forgive them because we're practically right on the water, by the Canal Saint-Martin...

04/09/2026: The food was absolutely delicious, and everything was freshly prepared. The owner was incredibly friendly and cracked a few jokes, which kept us not only well-fed but also entertained. Even though the restaurant was supposed to close at 4:30 pm, we were able to stay longer and the owner didn't kick us out at closing time. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Rennes: incredibly delicious food, a very friendly owner, everything freshly prepared, and excellent value for money.
