13/09/2024: A friendly place run by a boss who has it just as much. The dishes are great and the wines offered are just as great. There are very few tables which makes this restaurant very intimate. I adore :)

12/12/2025: I hadn't been back to "Maroc Lille" for quite some time. I rediscovered that wonderful, fragrant couscous and a very light, not at all greasy, broth-sauce, paired with perfectly rolled and very light semolina. It was perfect. The meats were of good quality, grilled to perfection, and the merguez sausage was truly top-notch, not just an afterthought but a real delight in itself. The service was attentive and friendly, yet understated and refined. And then there was the charm of the cook, whose eyes sparkled with happiness when she sensed her guests were more than satisfied. And of course, the owner always had a few anecdotes to share. It's a shame it doesn't have six stars.

12/01/2026: Overall, I recommend this restaurant in Saumur. It's a very nice restaurant with good value for money. However, quite a few dishes were unavailable on the menu, and this happened several times (we came twice in one month), and it was the same every time… The waiter wasn't understanding or polite to us. He lacked professionalism. A shame! Later, we had other waiters, and they were excellent. A great team.

I really loved the place; it's very welcoming with a warm and professional atmosphere. For starters, I enjoyed delicious scallops, followed by mussels cooked Sicilian-style… A real treat 🍽️🇮🇹, accompanied by an excellent wine. The service was smooth and very efficient. I had the pleasure of chatting with the Chef and her partner who works in the dining room. They are passionate about their craft and convey their love of cooking in every dish. I highly recommend this restaurant and I definitely plan to return very soon!

13/11/2024: The cuisine is excellent, the setting very warm, however, if you are big eaters or at least gourmands with a good appetite, the portions are not ultra generous and copious and I was a little left hungry even with a starter dessert dish but for now it’s unique to everyone!
