27/07/2026: An excellent experience at the restaurant. The dishes are generous and prepared with care. The hummus is incredible! I recommend the mint tea at the end of the meal to prolong the culinary journey. The service is top-notch. The wait is neither too short nor too long, just the right amount of time to get a perfect dish.

25/07/2026: The food is good quality, the flavor is there and it does the job, but the portions are very small compared to the price. The atmosphere, however, is disappointing. Loud, urban music in the restaurant ruins the ambiance. The service is very slow, and in the dining room, the waiters empty bottles into an old shopping cart next to the customers' tables—it's a bit like the music...not very pleasant for those hoping to eat in a peaceful atmosphere.

18/05/2026: Very disappointed with this meal. The asparagus starter was undercooked, the fish was a small fillet of sea bream served on a bed of peas and broccoli, cold as if straight from the fridge, and the dessert was simple: three tasteless strawberries drowned in industrial whipped cream. All this for €48 per person without wine.

19/07/2026: A very good experience this evening at La Kasbah. The dishes were flavorful and generous, and the waiter was very friendly. The restaurant is lovely and air-conditioned!

18/07/2026: As soon as you step through the door, you're instantly transported to Algeria. The decor, the ambiance, and the setting immerse you in the world of the Casbah and make you feel like you're somewhere else entirely. You immediately feel right at home. The welcome is incredibly warm, always with a smile. You can tell it's a true family business, passed down for three generations, and this is reflected in the attention given to the customers. As for the food, everything was delicious! The dishes are generous, flavorful, and prepared with great care. A wonderful discovery, full of authenticity and conviviality. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend it.

15/05/2026: Our daughter's wedding was a great success, and we were extremely satisfied with the venue, the team's involvement, Vanessa's ideas, and her excellent service, all at a very competitive price. Well done, and thank you again – you were fantastic!

15/07/2026: You can see the difference between the southwest, where they're incredibly welcoming and even seat you in the best spots if you have a reservation, though they'll move you later if other people arrive. Here, on the contrary, the staff is incredibly unfriendly. Despite all the empty tables, they tell you that even though there's still an hour before your reservation, "Oh no, it's not possible: I won't have time to clear the table." Well, yes, that's asking too much! This is how they treat tourists. We come here every summer, and we won't be back. We prefer to go to the Monaco market, where the prices are just as reasonable, with the added bonus of respect and kindness from the customers, and similar service.

11/07/2026: We had a wonderful meal during the height of summer for around €80 as a family with two children. We ordered a mixed platter with six unique open-faced sandwiches to share, a charcuterie board, and a cheese board (we were a little critical of the cheese board, being from the Auvergne region, we're picky about cheese, you know 😅). But it all came with two Pagos (a type of soft drink) for the children and a lovely bottle of rosé from the Var region for the parents! 🍷 A great place for a quick and delicious meal 👌 Highly recommended 🙏

16/12/2025: A peaceful farmhouse, terrace overlooking the Bugarach mountain. The farmyard animals frolic in the grass, putting on a show. The set menu is €29, and we choose from several courses. A buffet of well-prepared charcuterie and crudités. House dish (boles de picoulat). Dessert (profiteroles). Aperitif with Maury wine, followed by a meal with white wine. Three hours of dining and relaxation. It's a bit warm on the terrace; the curtains aren't up yet for the season. The chef makes a special effort with the presentation, adding small decorative touches and flavor combinations that are worth noting. You can sense his organization in his desire to serve all the guests in roughly the same order. Main courses for everyone, then desserts for everyone. There are only two of them, so they need to be methodical. The furniture and layout could use a touch of modernization (budget constraints, of course), but it's lush and full of flowers. We had a wonderful time during our two-wheeled tour of Bugarach and Rennes-le-Château. Limiting seating to around 20 people to prioritize quality over quantity, reservations are recommended. For groups, the farm indicated they can accommodate larger groups with prior booking, similar to classic car club outings. Parking is available on the property. I will definitely return. Thank you to this young couple.

12/11/2025: Excellent. We had lunch as a group and thoroughly enjoyed it. The €29 set menu is truly delicious and generous. The starter buffet, cassoulet, and profiteroles were all very plentiful and flavorful. I highly recommend it. The dining room is lovely, and the terrace is also very pleasant. They don't accept cards.

30/07/2026: Everything was impeccable from start to finish. We hired Al Boustan for our wedding reception, and everything was absolutely exquisite, from the initial contact to the end of the event. The entire team was exceptional, from the manager to the staff on site. Everyone demonstrated great professionalism, attentiveness, kindness, and a real ability to adapt. We felt supported and in very good hands throughout the planning process and on the day itself. And above all, the food was delicious. We celebrated a Franco-Lebanese wedding, and all our guests kept telling us how excellent the Lebanese cuisine was. Honestly, we have nothing but praise. I recommend Al Boustan without hesitation!

10/07/2026: We had a wonderful family evening at L'Équateur restaurant in St. Cyr-sur-Mer, with its magnificent setting overlooking the sea. The entire team took excellent care of us! The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. There were five of us, and every dish we tasted was a real treat, from the appetizers to the desserts—everything was homemade! Congratulations to everyone! We highly recommend L'Équateur in St. Cyr-sur-Mer. We will definitely be back!

26/06/2026: An excellent experience at this Douai restaurant. We received a very warm welcome and the setting is truly lovely. The food is delicious and plentiful. We particularly appreciated the presentation of the dishes, especially the tagine served in a beautiful terracotta dish. Everything was delicious and perfectly seasoned. This is a place I highly recommend. We will gladly return to try other specialties.

Visited Café de l’Union several times last week, Atef and the team were so welcoming whether we arrived as a table of 13 or 2 and whether we wanted food or just a drink. The food was excellent, the little ones were welcomed and treated very kindly, the grown ups were also looked after very well, the service was great, would recommend a visit if you’re in the area.
