29/07/2026: We were looking for lebanese food in Colmar, we stumbled upon this place which was purely syrian food restaurant. Food was okay but the service was incredibly poor. One man running the whole show and quite frankly was a bit rude. I went to grab some salt myself after we asked for it twice and the food was there for 10 mins and getting already cold, only to be told that I should have some patience and that I am not the only customer there. Very rude indeed.

18/07/2026: What a surprise!! Absolutely excellent! Quality ingredients, home-style cooking for special occasions, the couscous with sardine balls was to die for, and the egg and tuna brik was mouthwatering. It was delicious and generous, and the warm, homemade bread, of course, was flavored with anise. The service was just as good as the food: excellent! A hidden gem in Paris, unpretentious and with just the essentials: authenticity and quality. Thank you so much, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Please don't change a thing.

13/06/2026: I ate an extremely delicate octopus dish. The octopus was incredibly tender. It wasn't spicy, as I had requested, but still very flavorful; and you can adjust the spiciness level as the cook does it on the spot.

27/08/2026: We were literally harassed by the young people who were determined to force us to order things we didn't want. They kept insisting and insisting, coming back for more. It was exhausting and annoying when all we wanted was to have a relaxing time! The bill was exorbitant, and frankly, the quality of the food and drink didn't justify the final rip-off.

08/08/2026: Very disappointed. The restaurant is known as a neighborhood classic, and I can't understand why. The pizzas (€24) are supposed to be house "specialties" but are on par with an €8 food truck pizza. Generally speaking, everything is expensive for the average quality, even the cocktails. Add to that the 15-minute wait despite having a reservation, the lack of water and bread served, and the very stuffy atmosphere, and it all falls far short of expectations. The only real positive point is the friendliness of the servers.

The wine was excellent and the food absolutely delicious, made with fresh, high-quality, and very flavorful ingredients. The portions were generous and hearty. Special mention for the tuna tartare, simply fabulous! 🐟😍 And a special mention for the olive oil, absolutely delicious 🫒✨ A fantastic discovery that we highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

20/04/2026: A truly enchanting experience! Stepping through Ida's door is like finding the comfort of home. The welcome is incredibly warm and the food is simply delicious, authentic, and generous. You feel right at home, the food is wonderful... You can't wait to go back. I'm especially looking forward to trying the spaghetti and meatballs.

26/06/2026: There was much potential, but unfortunately, my visit fell short. The location was very convenient for our business needs. We booked the meeting room and while aesthetically very nice, we were there during a very hot spell and although the meeting room was in a very new part of the hotel, the air conditioning was not functioning in any significant way and the room was quite hot (I estimate +35c as is was 40c outside and there was VERY little difference and there was no movement of the air). No additional fans were offered to provide any relief. It made our planned meeting quite unpleasant. I also ran into an issue with my room, where the "roller shutter" would not reopen, completely blocking my window/patio door. I asked about it twice and was never provided any update nor was it ever fixed. It meant that for much of my stay, I had no window or view outside of the room. The restaurant service was good, but the food was inconsistent. The steak I had for dinner was cooked to my liking, and the duck salad was fine, while not super interesting. Lunch the following day was the oddest club sandwich I have had. I believe it was pre-made. It was very thin, the toast was cold and soggy and there was a sauce of some sort drizzled on it. Possibly it's a regional confusion on my part, but all who ordered it, from several different countries, most from Europe, were taken aback by it. Breakfast was typical and fine. I feel like my experience was not typical, but I can only review what I experienced. I really wanted to like the place more than I did. I would have trouble recommending it, not due to the issues that arose, things happen, but due to the fact that very little was done to resolve the issues when brought to the attention of the staff.

14/06/2026: I discovered Le Palais du Maroc in Maule and had a wonderful time. I chose a royal couscous, which was particularly delicious and generous. The semolina was light, the vegetables melted in your mouth, and the broth was subtly flavored. The meats were perfectly cooked and varied: tender chicken, flavorful lamb, a nicely grilled kebab, and merguez sausage with just the right amount of spice. Every bite felt like a dish prepared with care and respect for traditional Moroccan flavors. To accompany the meal, I enjoyed a mint tea served in the purest tradition. Fragrant, balanced, and comforting, it provided a lovely finishing touch to this lunch. The service was pleasant and the atmosphere warm, with decor that evokes travel. The portions are generous, and the quality is excellent. A truly wonderful place in Maule for lovers of authentic Moroccan cuisine. I will gladly return to discover other specialties on the menu. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
