26/08/2026: What a wonderful discovery! This aptly named restaurant, "Behind the Church," is impossible to miss! 😋 The waitresses and the owner, Linda, are welcoming and pleasant. 🤗 The dishes are delicious and the portions are generous! Thank you to Linda for agreeing to change my "rouille" (a type of fish stew) twice, as it was far too salty 😖, for the "cuttlefish à la plancha" (grilled cuttlefish). 🙏 Unique and inviting with its vintage decor, the location is perfect for relaxing on a Sunday after the market, unwinding to the sound of retro tunes playing on the vintage radio. 🎫💕 Kudos for the originality of the place! 👏👍 However, one small drawback and one star less because I chose to have a glass of "grilled wine"; I was presented with a bottle of "Gris de Camargue," but it wasn't opened or poured in front of me... I highly doubt that the glass I was subsequently served was this "famous gris," as I know it, and the one I drank was rather acidic, like a run-of-the-mill rosé, and orange in color... 🤔 But caught up in my conversation with my companion, I regret not having pointed this out. 🙄 Generally, when you present a bottle to a customer, you open it in front of them, right? 😇

The welcome is particularly warm and attentive, and the decor, both original and charming, makes the place truly delightful. The homemade cuisine is simply delicious, generous, and bursting with flavor. You can taste the care and passion put into every dish. A big thank you for the quality of service and for this wonderful time spent with you. An address I highly recommend! A magnificent setting, delicious food, and a lovely team: everything is there for a fantastic experience. We will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

26/08/2026: A great find in Sète, along the canal. An original, unique, and deliberately unpretentious restaurant. A young, courteous, and friendly team. A menu to suit all budgets, featuring fresh seafood and delicious, carefully prepared dishes. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

22/06/2026: I've been a customer for a very long time. Unfortunately, it had been several months since I'd been able to come during opening hours. I bought a royal couscous to take away. After a few misunderstandings with the owner and the completely overwhelmed employee... everything turned out fine. 😅 Especially since a lovely customer treated me to my meal and aperitif when he paid his bill. Thank you, Adrien, I'll come eat at your restaurant soon. 😇

22/07/2026: The view is nice, but the food is terribile. Staff is nice. I had a filet and it was really hard. The thing is I would understand if it was a reasonable pricing but we ended up spending 85 euros and it was not worth the meal.

18/07/2026: Great view. The food is good and affordable. They used to offer a complimentary schnapps after the meal, which we missed today. A complaint wasn't handled well.

15/09/2026: A wonderful discovery, this little bistro, located right next to the thermal baths. Behind the restaurant, a shaded terrace offers welcome respite during the heat of summer. We enjoyed a very generous portion of homemade couscous. The lamb shank was delicious. Excellent value for money. A must-try! Reservations are recommended.

14/08/2026: Disgusting ribeye steak, the color of a cigarette paper couldn't possibly be blue! The owner made us pay for the dish even though we didn't eat it, and she was incredibly vulgar, clearly not caring about her customers because she's closing at the end of the year. Insulting and threatening, it was a disaster.

05/08/2026: The welcome was quite pleasant, until the food arrived. It was rushed, as were the sauces, without any attention to detail. As for the meal itself, it was a huge disappointment: the blue cheese pasta had practically no cheese, the Caesar salad contained chicken that looked like it came from a supermarket, and the fried food was clearly frozen. When it came time to pay, we had to calculate our own share, without any help, and we left without even a goodbye. Considering the quality of the food and the service, the value for money was definitely not there. I do not recommend this establishment.

05/08/2026: Excellent restaurant! The food is delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We ate there three times during our stay, and everything was absolutely fantastic each time. I highly recommend it :)

22/08/2026: A very disappointing experience. Nearly €20 for just two drinks, including an undrinkable Spritz, is excessively expensive. The service made matters worse: no friendliness, no advice, and no mention of the upcoming happy hour which would have saved us this bill. I'm only giving two stars because the beer was good.

23/07/2026: Exceptional pizzas!!! The best in Pau. Friendly couple. It's a real shame the Google opening hours are wrong... I've gone three times during opening hours and found the door closed :/

13/06/2026: We booked in May 2026 for my wife's birthday on August 29th, 2026, using a gift box. We received a call and then an email confirming the reservation. And suddenly, without explanation, we just received a message informing us that, according to their calendar, they are canceling our reservation. Friends tried to book on August 29th and there were no problems... This is not very professional, and certainly not good customer service.

05/08/2026: Very good, however, watching BFMTV while eating isn't ideal; I want to eat, but not with the news. A shame.

02/08/2026: On our way from Brussels to Paris, we pulled off the highway to find a place to eat, and the experience was fantastic. An authentic spot with exquisite couscous.

05/12/2025: Your restaurant is good. It's a shame the website says it's open when it's almost never open except for a few days, and even then it's rare. They just need to change the area where it says it's open. On the internet, they should say it's closed.

15/11/2025: From the very first minute, we felt incredibly comfortable here. The staff is unbelievably friendly, attentive, and efficient. You truly feel welcome and valued as a guest. But most importantly: the food was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed a variety of Italian specialties, and everything—from the appetizers to the pizza and pasta—was freshly prepared and of outstanding quality. A true Italian culinary delight that leaves you wanting more. In short: "Il Giardino" is the perfect combination of authentically good food and wonderfully friendly service. If you're in Lège-Cap-Ferret and craving Italian cuisine, you absolutely must eat here! Highly recommended and a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars! 🇮🇹💖

09/08/2026: Very disappointing, frankly unacceptable. We had booked a table for five people, including children, hoping to have a pleasant time in this pretty little village. Unfortunately, the experience was a series of unpleasant surprises. We were brought the menu… no children's menu. We had to ask the waitress what was available for children. The response: "For the kids, we can do nuggets and fries or steak and fries." Fine, except that we were then told it was €14 a plate, without drinks and without a proper children's menu. And to top it all off, the steak and fries were frozen. Given the size of the menu and the setting, I sincerely expected homemade food and fresh ingredients. What a disappointment. We then ordered a warm goat cheese salad and a Caesar salad, €19 each. At that price, you'd expect something substantial and well-prepared. The result: a handful of iceberg lettuce, a few undercooked pieces of bacon, three slices of tomato, and three small goat cheese toasts. €19 for that is clearly excessive. The Caesar salad wasn't any better: the same salad base, and the chicken was replaced with nuggets identical to those served on our daughter's plate. It's hard to call it a Caesar salad under these circumstances… And to top it all off, the pasta bolognese of the day was utterly revolting, whereas my son usually loves it and eats it without any problem. In the end, a three-figure bill for a quality that was absolutely lacking. We weren't expecting gourmet fare, just decent ingredients, honest cooking, and prices consistent with what was served. Here, unfortunately, we felt like we were paying a fortune for frozen food and products that hadn't been properly prepared. The value for money was catastrophic. An experience we won't repeat and that we strongly advise against.

06/08/2026: Passing through the village of Tanneron with my family, we stopped for a refreshing break at the Famiglia restaurant. It boasts a breathtaking view of the valley below. I ordered a mimosa beer, one of the restaurant's specialties, and I was pleasantly surprised by the combination. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the manager was very friendly. I highly recommend it!

06/06/2026: A thought for the founding father of this place, as he has sadly passed away. A heartfelt thank you to him for everything he did for the residents of Salon-de-Provence. Rest in peace.
