15/01/2026: The manager's behavior struck me as inappropriate. While I was wearing a Dior sweatshirt, he made several comments about it, then inquired about my job, displaying excessive curiosity. He even went so far as to ask who paid for my designer clothes, which made my sister uncomfortable. As for the food, the quality was disappointing: the meat was too dry and the portions were small. Furthermore, the establishment claims to offer halal cuisine while also serving alcohol, which is somewhat misleading.

31/01/2026: Excellent Egyptian coffee, warm and authentic atmosphere. The coffee is superb and the staff welcoming. A pleasant place to take a break and feel like you're somewhere else in the heart of Paris. I highly recommend it.

27/03/2026: Astronomical prices! A fricassé costs €7, a brick pastry with egg €10. They've lost their minds. A few years ago, the prices were affordable; now the prices are rising, and it's filthy. It remains a real dump with prices like a Michelin-starred restaurant. Avoid at all costs!

11/03/2026: We were recommended this restaurant, but frankly, we were disappointed. It's a shame. Two young men were unfriendly and didn't smile like the father. We ordered three Tunisian dishes, both filled with cucumbers and potatoes. The food wasn't Tunisian at all; it had no flavor. In fact, it wasn't a real Tunisian dish. For the price of a half-bottle of wine, €15 is outrageous. We're not in the 17th arrondissement, and here you can't even recommend a coffee for €3.50 or a bottle for €8. Minbenou, you should review your prices and tell your servers to be as friendly as you are.

24/01/2026: So, how can I put it? The service was incredibly slow; I had to wait an hour between each course. I wasn't familiar with Portuguese cuisine, and frankly, it wasn't great. I don't know if it was the food or the restaurant itself, but I just didn't like it at all. I certainly won't be going back.

I abandoned my tabbouleh at the checkout after seeing they were charging 19 euros for it (it's parsley, guys, it's literally a 1-euro bunch of parsley from Pro Intermarché with 2 grams of tomatoes, come on!). And sure, it tasted like heaven, okay, but this... No. It's MEDIOCRE! Run away if you don't want to blow your savings.

24/02/2026: New owner. Good food, especially the couscous. The wood-fired pizza is excellent. Friendly and smiling staff. I'm becoming a regular customer again, eating in or, more often, taking away.

18/02/2026: Let's be honest, I prefer the couscous from Picard. Nothing has any real flavor, everything is boiled or even re-boiled, the food is served on very cold plates (while yours is heated), so hurry up and serve yourself. Disappointment despite a previous visit two years ago when we recommended this restaurant, but what happened since then?? However, the staff were pleasant as far as we were concerned!

02/02/2026: We're still here as I write this. The couscous was excellent, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere really lovely. Thank you all, it was perfect (we're having mint tea and it's the perfect way to finish).

First, for the must-have souvenir gifts, and then for a beer and coffee on the terrace with our afternoon snack after discovering this brilliant concept: "The picnic is you, the drinks are us." They are all welcoming and friendly. We had time to chat with Fabien and the owner; it was a great time, thank you to them. Can't wait to come back...
