30/05/2026: If you are not Lebanese, you will fall for it and think that's Samaya is a genuine representation of the Lebanese cuisine and hospitality, but It's NOT !!! The owner/manager is not friendly at all and although the restaurant was almost empty (only one 6-customers' table) he didn't allow me to eat my sandwiches inside. I ordered one Chicken Taouk sandwich (marinated chicken breast skewer) and one Chicken shawarma (Chicken doner). The taouk was poorly cooked and you can see the red dots of uncooked chicken, with every chicken bite. As for the chicken shawarma, it tastes everything but shawarma because the chicken was minced and not cut/sliced from a shawarma large skewer, with a weird sauce taste that is supposed to be garlic sauce, and I wasn't sure if I was eating Chinese or Thai food, but it was definitely not the Lebanese shawarma that I eat back home or anywhere else. Both sandwiches had barely a couple of lettuce leaves and a micron-thin pickle, which doesn't match the usual Lebanese generosity in terms of quality ingredients and richness of them. If you are craving the genuine delicious and generous Lebanese cuisine, don't make the mistake I made and go there.

08/11/2025: Shameful! I made a reservation for my birthday, it was confirmed, so I arrived on time and on the day I booked, only to find the restaurant closed. There were no signs, no posts on their Instagram mentioning the closure, especially since the reservation had been confirmed by email and text message. Thanks for ruining my birthday!

14/02/2026: Every year we choose a local restaurant to celebrate the end of the year with our Orthopedics department at Bonnet Hospital, and this year our choice was very disappointing. We had to bring our own speakers for music because their sound system was supposedly broken. The dinner buffet was extremely disappointing and very meager for about thirty people, especially considering the price of €30 per person. This review is being written two months later because we haven't received a response from the owner to our email expressing our disappointment. The only positive aspect of this place is the location and its large, well-heated dining room.

11/03/2026: We were a group of 70 people and spent a weekend in Briançon thanks the help and advice of Serre Chevalier reservation organization which helps us in any step. This is the second year (last year we were 100) that we ask help to Serre Chevalier organization and every year we found professionality and efficience. I think that Serre Chevalier Valley is the greatest place for group offering many activities and very well organized and Serre Chevaleri Organization is over the Top! See you next year!!!

18/12/2025: After booking accommodation for February in October, I had to cancel five days later due to date conflicts. The platform refused to refund my deposit of over €300 because the owner didn't want to. Finally, the platform contacted me two months later to inform me that the apartment had been re-let, and they refunded my deposit. Thank you to them.

19/10/2025: Visit in October 2025, Sunday lunchtime Unlike our previous meal a year earlier, this experience was a complete disaster! We arrived around 1 p.m. It was fairly busy, but not crowded; some tables were empty. We left at 3:30 p.m., having only eaten one course. The dishes were brought out sporadically, with more than half an hour between the first and last person (there were seven of us, not a very large group). We only received one carafe of water for the entire meal; we had to ask several times for bread and napkins. The dishes were decent, but almost cold; the kitchen staff must have been rushing, so the servers were inadequate. My seafood platter didn't have toothpicks for the whelks or finger bowls, but oh well, no big deal. One person had a set menu with dessert included, and even though it was a long wait, we were planning to have dessert too. They offered him an apple or a yogurt! I've never seen anything like it... We didn't order coffee or dessert, we just went to pay for our meals. At the register, the person apologized again for the last course arriving very late, but there was no gesture of goodwill, no discount, not even a free coffee... First review from October 2024: Good meal, friendly and smiling staff, fast service. The duck breast was cooked perfectly. Generous and well-presented salads. Terrace overlooking the sea. The tiramisu was a bit small; for €8, we expected better.

16/04/2026: While in Lyon, I went to this restaurant. We were there as a family and ordered three main courses and a children's menu! The "mixed grill" was actually a meatball cooked in sauce. A tiny cutlet. A mini undercooked chicken skewer and an undercooked merguez sausage—that's the famous "mixed grill." The veal chop was a joke; I think it was sliced ​​three times thin. It was all served with a small handful of cold fries, a minuscule handful of salad with a slice of tomato and an olive. The sea bream was undercooked. The children's menu arrived after we had finished our meals: a handful of fries thrown onto a plate with five nuggets thrown on top. The presentation was completely unprofessional, especially considering this used to be a kebab shop and now only serves food. For an à la carte restaurant, I think they're taking the mickey! €72.60—what a waste! You might as well go to McDonald's or get a kebab.

I much prefer going to Mess, which truly respects the traditions and dishes of our countries. I have never been so disappointed by such a bland chorba, and as for the rest of the dishes, no comment. 17/05/2026: Awful. I'm not usually picky, but honestly, don't go there. The price seems attractive with their €19.90 set menu: starter + main course + dessert. It's easy to see why. - The salad and deviled eggs were completely processed, minimalist, and uninteresting. - The chorizo ​​burgers were clearly frozen. Ours were identical, a truly astonishing comparison. They didn't even ask how we wanted them cooked. - The rice pudding was mushy, with an awful texture. The dessert in a glass contained a quarter of a soft white cheese at the bottom, not even fresh—I pointed it out to the waiter—accompanied by a so-called red fruit coulis. Despite everything, the waiters were friendly. Two desserts were wandering around the room because they couldn't remember which table they were for… they finally brought us an extra rice pudding. At least it gave us a chance to laugh with the other diners and the staff. The restrooms were filthy. I even saw a waiter wipe his hands on his apron as he came out of the restroom. We also got yelled at by the neighbor because our table was under his bedroom window! At least we'll remember it!

15/05/2026: We were asked to come inside when we looked at the menus outside. We ordered two set menus; while the starters were more or less fine, my Basque chicken arrived lukewarm, and the mussels for my husband were completely cold, so we sent them back for a warmer dish. After five minutes, the dish returned just as cold, so we decided to cut our lunch short. The owner listened to us and charged us for the dishes we had eaten and drunk from the menu. We were therefore at a loss.
