04/08/2026: I'm wary of restaurants with too many menu options, but this is a well-established place, and they make sure you know it. An iconic spot on Place de la Victoire with a pleasant atmosphere. The daily specials are reasonably priced, and the other dishes are also good. The service was excellent, no complaints whatsoever.

03/08/2026: Had a very mediocre meal. The restaurant looks very chic and the service is too, but they could put more energy into the preparation of the dishes. The prawns as a starter were almost impossible to peel and the salad was bad: carrot, cucumber, and a few tomatoes with a simple dressing and some greasy, rather tasteless spring rolls and prawns. The beer was good and the service friendly.

26/07/2026: The meal was decent, but the service staff seemed uncomfortable. Furthermore, the starter I chose (fish) was no longer available, and then neither was the main course (lamb).

24/07/2026: Nice established restaurant, it's been open 15 years, its just off the centre Jaude. A good menu with many choices at reasonable prices. Staff friendly and attentive service was quick, this might change in busy periods as we were there at a quiet lunch. The food was good well presented, served hot, I particularly enjoyed the banana and tamarind chutney that we had with the vegetable pakoras. Recommended, we will go back.

25/05/2026: An incredible hotel in a perfectly maintained and decorated authentic medieval castle. The staff, the setting, the room amenities, the activities (pool, tennis, electric bikes...), the restaurant—absolutely everything is a delight. This was our second stay there, and it won't be our last.

27/06/2026: I discovered this place in May 2025; their dishes were incredibly well-crafted, complete, and generous. This year I'm returning to this town partly for Le Marquis de Royat, which is still just as good. The quality/nutritional balance/price ratio is excellent, with a daily special for under €10. Thank you! The people of Royat are lucky to have you.

06/08/2026: Excellent restaurant! The owner's parents are lovely: he's in the kitchen, she's in the dining room, and they're both fantastic. A very warm welcome, a delicious meal… We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it!

12/07/2026: The three guys covered our wedding from the cocktail hour to dessert…it was a complete success. Before and during, the manager, David, informed us, guided us, and gave us excellent advice. The team present on the day was truly fantastic! Discreet, available, smiling, dynamic, and incredibly pleasant with everyone. They did a great job! The heatwave didn't dampen their spirits at all. The head waitress was ultra-professional! She managed the timing perfectly, keeping us informed about the events at every moment with complete discretion…bravo! The brazier during the aperitif was a hit with all the guests, and the paella was delicious. A huge thank you to everyone for contributing to the success of this special day. 21/07/2026: A very good restaurant offering entirely homemade cuisine, prepared with fresh, seasonal produce. The service is pleasant, attentive, and efficient. An excellent place that is well worth a visit.

12/08/2026: The service was impeccable, there was no wait, and the dining area was very bright. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with my beef tartare with pesto. The potatoes were too oily for my taste, and the salad was over-dressed. But perhaps someone else would have liked it more. What a shame.

04/08/2026: As a group of 5 who all ordered a different dish: "spectacular" is all we could say about the food and it fell really short of what would've truly felt right to say. From the Risotto Porcini through the Fusilli au Pesto, Raviolli Ricotta, Spaghetti Tartufo and Pizza Capra all the way to the vanilla gelatto we were delighted. My sister and I are particularily picky about food and never agree on anything, but we had to on the fact that if we were staying anywhere closer for vacation we'd come back to this place for lunch *without a doubt* at least once more. Service was also remarkable; two of the waiters communicated with us really kindly in three different languages (they both said they struggle with spanish but I was very pleasantly surprised they could speak some of it at all!), food serving was quick even though it was a bit late for lunchtime and the environment was really quiet and comfy which we really appreciated. Overall one of the best experiences I've ever had in a restaurant in a very long time and the single best in my stay in France (I was in Paris in early July and this place beats every experience there by a mile). Thank you so much once again!

02/08/2026: A very good restaurant, generous portions with good value for money. The dishes were appetizing and delicious. We ordered the truffade (a potato and cheese dish) with a butcher's cut of the day and a burger with Saint-Nectaire cheese for the adults, and the children's menu included a hamburger and truffade. The charcuterie/cheese board was enormous and excellent. The service was good, provided by young staff. Dining on the terrace with a view of the lake was very relaxing.
