25/11/2024: Really at the top! I am very delighted with this restaurant, I ordered a veal kebab in white sauce with fries and it was super good! It was generous in meat, raw vegetables, sauce. The portion was perfect for me although I would have added more fries. The service was fast and efficient not to mention the friendliness of the staff. The price remains quite expensive but it's worth it (10€ without drink). I highly recommend.

When quality and know-how come together like a bygone era before ugly modernity.
Pleasure of the senses, taste, sight.
Absolutely delicious food with a divine knight shadow.
Restaurant like a museum of tradition. It’s even difficult to understand everything.
Traditional room with its faults which make up its qualities.
Royal breakfast!
My only regret: having arrived in hiking gear, I would have liked a jacquard jacket and a top hat for example…
I will definitely come back and don’t hesitate for a moment, it would be a waste of time….
15/08/2024: Visit this hotel before these types of hotels die out with their staff. This hotel cannot be put into the classic star rating grid. It's not about how many towels you have in the bathroom or how long reception is manned. It's about an authentic experience in an old building. Every part of the building shows its past. It is winding, built over centuries around the city wall. Something has been added there, something built in there. The owner is a unique character who puts his heart and soul into running the hotel (and cooking?). Try the menu in the evening. Just be prepared for what's on offer. It will be very tasty. The service is also part of the setting. Simply immerse yourself in a different hotel world. It's worth it. And please don't be so negative. You can also go to a Best Western where everything is standardized, but please don't complain about this gem, which is completely different.

31/08/2024: Very good presentation and warm welcome. I find the prices a little expensive for 6 small tapas. There was a lack of salt, there were 3 of us and we made the same observation on other dishes. As for the flavors, I didn't notice the announced truffle taste. You need to do some more taste research I think. Sorry for this somewhat harsh rating but I think you will be able to correct yourself.

30/11/2023: Impossible de jugé la qualité de la cuisine mais l'accueil est pire que déplorable: nous avons appelé 30 min avant d'arriver pour s'assurer que nous pourrions être servis. A notre arrivée, un homme au téléphone nous barre l'entrée en nous disant: "je ferme, ça fait une demi heure que j'attends" et il ferme la porte à clé....30 min avant son heure de fermeture!!?!
Nous ne ferons pas l'erreur d'y retourner!!

02/08/2024: While hiking, we stopped at this restaurant. We ordered 3 truffades to share with 4 (in addition to 3 other dishes, there were 7 of us in total).
Lunch goes without incident (apart from the owner who smokes inside the restaurant and in the kitchen), the food is good (even if I agree with the comments which specify that it is nothing gourmet) and the service is pleasant.
When paying, we were surprised by the bill on which 4 truffades were charged (with a slight reduction because we did not take any cold meats). We pay the bill but I still report the problem to the waitress (a difference of 16 euros), who does not react, so we leave the restaurant.
As we put our bags in front of the entrance, the boss asks me to come back in and explain the “problem with the little one”. I therefore calmly repeat what surprised us on the note. After 30 seconds of discussion, the owner's reaction was as follows: "if you don't have the means, you shouldn't come to the restaurant" "come on, leave my house immediately" "the other customers are happy so that’s not my problem” while raising his voice.
I consider this reaction totally inappropriate and disrespectful. I therefore strongly advise you to move on.
28/06/2024: Seul restaurant du secteur ce qui explique probablement le prix du menu..32 euros en semaine à midi.
Le plat principal était bon ( poulet légumes...basique!) ,le clafoutis (9,50 euros à la carte tout de même !) quelconque et bourratif.
J ai été particulièrement choquée par le comportement de la patronne. Outre le fait qu'elle mobilisait l'attention en parlant fort, elle s'est permis 2 réflexions désagréables envers sa serveuse, devant les clients, alors que celle ci assurait seule la totalité du service ( de la commande à l'addition) avec amabilité, efficacité et professionnalisme.
Beaucoup de progrès à faire avant de se dire gastronomique!
