22/03/2026: A lovely little café we stopped at on our way back from a hike one Sunday in late March. It was quite peaceful and not very busy. We were served Viennese hot chocolate and a variety of crepes and waffles. The crepes, like the waffle, were particularly good, especially with the blueberry jam, which was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and the waitress was very kind and pleasant. The prices were very reasonable. The restrooms were very clean, which was a nice touch. We had a wonderful time, so thank you! ☺️

29/03/2026: We came as a family and received a wonderful welcome from the owner. He was very funny and had a great atmosphere; it was light and pleasant. We ate incredibly well! The portions were generous and authentic, from appetizer to dessert. And the restaurant's decor was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this fantastic restaurant, which also offers takeout ✨

But yesterday, I don't know what happened, it was inedible, like the burger was from yesterday, or even the day before. And don't even get me started on the stomach ache this morning. What a shame…

15/02/2026: If you're looking for an excellent Turkish restaurant, I highly recommend Antep 🇹🇷✨ Authentic cuisine, generous portions, and a super warm welcome. Special mention for the grilled meats and desserts—a real treat! I'll definitely be back.

26/06/2026: I came just for a frappé and to relax in an air-conditioned place during the heatwave (I made sure to check that the place wasn't crowded so as not to take up a seat they might actually need, and I always take an unset table, which was the case here. In this instance, the brasserie was practically empty from my arrival to my departure). I ordered a frappé (served by a friendly waitress, but expensive compared to normal prices in Clermont, and which was OK in terms of quality and taste), and at 11:58 a.m. I was kicked out by a waiter about as friendly as a prison guard who made it clear that if I didn't intend to eat, I had to vacate the table before noon (i.e., within a minute). I hadn't even finished my drink, the restaurant was still practically empty, and there were unset tables for people having drinks. At no point did he simply offer to move me to one of those spaces. In short, it's a rip-off considering the prices and the level of service the place claims to offer; you'd expect a slightly classier welcome. I'm not surprised I've almost never seen them full (and I'm from the area).

26/01/2026: I had mixed feelings about this "Brasserie." The set menus were very expensive, and the portions weren't particularly generous. I was disappointed every time I visited, despite several attempts. In 2025, I noticed a real improvement, which is why I'm raising my rating. However, I still find the set menus a bit pricey. In 2026, there was another decline in the quality of the food and service, along with a further price increase. Therefore, I'm reverting to 3 stars.

14/05/2026: I happened to arrive while waiting for my car to be repaired at the neighboring garage. I was warmly welcomed by a lovely blonde woman. The place is clean and offers several different services. Special thanks to this lady who brightened my day with her kindness, which was encouraging before my departure. Thank you 🙏🏻

17/04/2026: Nice bar for a quick coffee on the terrace or inside. Easy parking. Also offers tobacco and games. Friendly waitress. I'm not rating the food as I didn't eat there.

07/07/2026: Excellent experience! The welcome was warm, the staff were friendly and attentive. The establishment is clean, pleasant, and well-maintained. The service was efficient, and everything went very smoothly. I highly recommend this place and will gladly return.

05/05/2026: We spent three nights at this hotel. The staff is very welcoming and the rooms are very pleasant. There was a small problem with a spring in room 414, but it was quickly resolved. The housekeeping staff is excellent. The food is very good. Special mention to the lady who was in charge of breakfast on Saturday, May 2nd. She had incredible energy serving the guests, covering miles during service to replenish the food: well done! The only downside was the lack of cloth napkins on the tables. While this isn't a big deal, the half-sized white paper napkins are more like something you'd find at a mobile chip shop—no, not in a Mercure hotel.

04/05/2026: I was very disappointed with this hotel. I had booked a special package that included a bottle of wine in the room upon arrival and a late dinner. However, the wine was mediocre; we didn't drink it. We didn't use the late dinner because we were planning to enjoy the indoor pool, but it was so cold that we only took a quick dip. This hotel is absolutely not worth the price I paid!

12/06/2026: I used to go to Stan's often and even thought it was one of the best kebabs in the Puy-de-Dôme region. But charging extra for asking for a little more meat on a plate that's getting more and more expensive while you're putting less and less meat on it is outrageous. The meat quality has gone down, the bread that comes with it is disgusting, and I don't know where the ketchup comes from. The restaurant is crawling with flies, and I was sick all night. Honestly, this is the last time you'll see me in your establishment…

02/04/2026: A very pleasant stay at this hotel located in the center of Ambert. Room (10) is spacious with excellent bedding and a large bathroom. Add to that a delicious restaurant and a warm welcome (despite what the naysayers might say). Thank you.

06/07/2026: The staff were always pleasant, but what a nightmare it was to be served at lunchtime! We ate separately with the children, so their food was cold and disappointing.
