10/09/2024: The welcome was normal and pleasant, the room was comfortable and a good coffee machine, I'm not the type to fill myself up and I'm in the building industry but seriously there's no sound insulation for the corridors or for the exterior, so if you're going to work ok but if you want to rest in the morning to escape!!! The technical staff had discussions in the corridor in a loud voice, I was able to follow the conversation badly!!! I would have liked to sleep thank you! Damage !

24/08/2024: A wonderful stay in this hotel, a very warm welcome, waiters, receptionists, perfect, a great view of the Place de Jaude!, full breakfast, sweet and savory, A downside for the too many stairs, so not made for PRMs, you should know that, even if an elevator serves the rooms, per half floor, but I still recommend it, it was great!

20/09/2024: service parfait avec un super accueil , très polis les plats sont super aussi absolument rien à reprocher et une bonne ambiance, 10/10 !

29/09/2024: Un cadeau offert par des amis ,pour un repas découverte ( Epicure) bon le repas à 90€ / prs , sans fromage sans le vin, sans l'eau , sans café. Donc deux verres de vin et pichet d'eau facturé 4.50 et deux cafés a 5€ pièces , toujours du repas 42.50 légèrement excessif,surtout qu'un plat trop salé nous gâche la viande et un autre plat nous arrive tiède dommage pour une bonne viande en sauce . autres bémol manque d'intimité entre les tables ,un petit paravent serait agréable pour une majorité de couple dans la salle .

19/08/2024: An excellent souvenir for my son's christening meal in 2019. The cellar is magnificent. We will come back there for an aperitif and go up to the top of the castle.

04/09/2024: Cela valait la peine de faire une dure balade à vélo pour arriver à cet endroit si particulier. Nous avons eu un accueil chaleureux, un excellent repas végétarien (prévu à l'avance) un bon vin et une nuit confortable et paisible dans un loge bijou. Nous avons apprécié les produits frais et locaux. Dommage que vous ne puissiez pas mettre 6 étoiles

14/08/2024: Leaving work at 11:50 p.m. I took my order 5 minutes before they closed and they got it to me in 10 minutes, very warm welcome and a good, serious and smiling team! I highly recommend!! It's not the first time I've come and it won't be the last!

16/08/2024: Nous sommes allés par hasard dans cette brasserie place de Jaude Contrairement à certains avis lus sur le site, et en dépit de l'affluence, nous avons été bien accueillis par une jeune serveuse et le service a été rapide. Nous avons choisi respectivement une salade auvergnate (très bien garnie) et la truffade, plat régional. En dessert un café gourmand (bien, sauf le tiramisu) A noter également un bon choix de bières pression.

25/08/2024: Attention Remarkable place! When quality and know-how come together like a bygone era before ugly modernity. Pleasure of the senses, taste, sight. Absolutely delicious food with a divine knight shadow. Restaurant like a museum of tradition. It’s even difficult to understand everything. Traditional room with its faults which make up its qualities. Royal breakfast! My only regret: having arrived in hiking gear, I would have liked a jacquard jacket and a top hat for example… I will definitely come back and don’t hesitate for a moment, it would be a waste of time….

15/08/2024: Visit this hotel before these types of hotels die out with their staff. This hotel cannot be put into the classic star rating grid. It's not about how many towels you have in the bathroom or how long reception is manned. It's about an authentic experience in an old building. Every part of the building shows its past. It is winding, built over centuries around the city wall. Something has been added there, something built in there. The owner is a unique character who puts his heart and soul into running the hotel (and cooking?). Try the menu in the evening. Just be prepared for what's on offer. It will be very tasty. The service is also part of the setting. Simply immerse yourself in a different hotel world. It's worth it. And please don't be so negative. You can also go to a Best Western where everything is standardized, but please don't complain about this gem, which is completely different.

25/08/2024: Escapade en Auvergne nous revenons manger à la cabane au calme dans la montagne Retour aux sources après 5 cures à la bourboule enfant et 2 adulte On reviendra encore

07/02/2024: So, a year ago, I reserved 4 rooms for my colleagues and me for 4 nights each, for an intervention in the region a few weeks later. The owner asks me for a deposit of €700, logically, which I pay immediately then... the hotel closes its doors, without us being warned, without telling us anything... the week of the service arrives, I call to be sure of the rooms and the times and then no more sound, no more image , bye bye my €700... (50% of the service). We managed with another establishment... I see the owner has responded to comments since then. so if he reads this one... he should try to contact me, at least to apologize!!! I don't expect anything more for my money! He must have known that this was not going well, he collected the money knowingly, thug method with the little people that we are!!! My opinion a triple 0.

08/09/2023: I have been going to this hotel restaurant for years but will never go back there again! The new manager is a man full of himself and should definitely change jobs! The family side has become the house of arrogance! I really pity his staff! I do not recommend this establishment!

03/09/2024: A vert nice meal of steak frites with a pepper sauce,washed down with a glass of the local beer.the staff where very helpful.
