09/03/2026: First of all, I understand the many negative reviews, but it's important to remember that the McDonald's in Jaude is a very large fast-food restaurant right in the city center, which receives a lot of orders through Uber Eats and Deliveroo, as well as through its own McDonald's app. The servers, who are mostly students or young professionals, are quite energetic, but you still feel a lot of pressure from the teams, which is far too normalized in the restaurant industry. You hear a lot of arguments and that they get yelled at by managers; it reminds me of my years working at McDonald's... The service is fast and the servers are very accommodating, but you feel this constant pressure to meet quotas, and it can be uncomfortable. You see them running around, getting scolded, and exchanging barbs, which makes the experience particularly unpleasant because you feel more like a burden than a customer.

11/03/2026: Unfortunately, a very bad experience. The sandwiches weren't very filling, and the bread was very hard. They looked like they were from another store. I'm very disappointed. Furthermore, the staff didn't seem very competent, and the hygiene in this store really needs improvement. We won't be back.

02/03/2026: Delicious as usual, however, the two young people on the 6 pm shift on Monday, March 2nd, were truly disrespectful! Openly mocking a customer in a precarious situation right in front of them is no more professional than snickering on their phones during service. Finally, you should wear gloves and hairnets for the duration of your shift if you care about hygiene. But I don't think you even know what that means…

11/01/2026: We stumbled upon this place and made the mistake of not reading the reviews. Being well-intentioned, we thought we'd form our own opinion: apart from the young waitress who was on her first day and very pleasant (hence the two stars), there seems to be a competition for the lowest rating, with absolutely no effort made (cold crepe, lukewarm sauce in a cup...). All the reviews are unfortunately accurate, which ruins our trip to Besse. In short, definitely avoid this place!

05/03/2026: The flank steak and fries were perfectly cooked, and the dessert was excellent. We were even offered a complimentary drink by the house. We'll be back, thank you!

07/03/2026: I had planned to organize a small get-together at this restaurant after my mother's funeral. Looking at the photos on the website, the place seemed lovely: well-decorated, airy, and truly inviting. Everything seemed to be going well. During our first phone conversation, the owner was pleasant and even provided me with an initial quote that included certain things, notably an aperitif. During our second call, I simply asked for clarification on the quote: I wanted to know if coffee was included with the soft drinks. She understood that I wanted to add some, and despite my explanations, it was impossible to clarify this point. The conversation then escalated; she started shouting and became aggressive, accusing me of trying to drive the price down, which was absolutely not my intention. The most surprising thing is that some of the items she later rejected were precisely those she herself had mentioned in the initial quote. From the outset, we could probably have found common ground, but discussion quickly became impossible. This is all the more regrettable in the context of a funeral. When someone has just lost their mother, a minimum of listening and understanding would be appreciated. Improved communication is certainly an area for development: business isn't just about pretty decor and beautiful photos on a website.
