21/07/2026: A disgrace! We waited 30 minutes, from 11:30 PM to midnight, without ever receiving our order. We finally had to go into the McDonald's to ask what was going on. They told us they had only received one order, when they could have at least prepared the others. The result: an endless wait, no clear explanation, and above all, no compensation. Very disappointed with the service. Avoid at all costs!

20/07/2026: A mistake at the till, no receipt given, requiring a return trip to have the bill corrected… Then dry burgers, a small portion of undercooked fries. Considering the prices, the quality is definitely lacking. At that price, I'd rather pay €5 more at a local restaurant and eat quality food with proper service.

24/08/2026: Very dirty... table, chair, bench and toilet. At 3:30 pm, just to get an ice cream, it was extremely difficult to find a clean place.

21/05/2026: Friendly welcome. Disappointed with the food. I booked half-board for dinner and was surprised not to find a starter and dessert buffet as advertised on your website, and to have to pay €7 per glass for wine, which was included in the half-board package.

09/08/2026: We'd barely arrived at the restaurant when there was no greeting, just a casual "I'm out of things." Then he told us, "Well, I do have some things, but no tomato sauce. I can make pizzas with a cream base, but no Saint-Nectaire cheese, I'm out of it," and kept repeating "I'm out of things, I'm out of things" when we looked at the menu to order cream-based pizzas... so we didn't insist, we left. It was like he just wanted to finish early. Avoid this place!

29/01/2026: We've been having lunch at The Spot since the restaurant was taken over by its new owners. The dishes and desserts are delicious, and the tasteful decor is very pleasant. We'll definitely be back.

03/11/2025: Run away... the restaurant was empty when we went, that should have been a warning sign, but oh well... the outdoor terrace was disgusting, the toilets were disgusting, the owner was calmly drinking with his colleagues... the guy even took out his penis (disgusting), frozen fries, meat not cooked as requested... in short, I thought I was on a gag video or a horror film like "Hostel", don't go there, it's a nightmare in and around the kitchen.

08/03/2026: Reservation for 15 people. The first course was served in a typical Portuguese dish, but the cod was completely cold. We waited an hour. The rest of the meal arrived almost cold as well. (The rice was cold.) The first person served had almost finished eating before the last person was served. The fruit juice was 8 months past its expiration date. As a replacement, we were given juice that had expired a month prior. We hadn't even finished eating when they came to ask us how we were going to pay. They didn't know if we wanted dessert or coffee. The waitress was clearly a beginner. She didn't even know what syrup they had. And don't even get me started on the wine. There was no snack to tide us over during the aperitif. We had to ask for it (they also didn't think to ask if we wanted a starter). I could have understood if they had been overwhelmed with customers, but there were only two other people in the restaurant. So don't go there... For the price, I think you can find better.

01/08/2026: I find it a shame that Cokes are served from large 1.5L bottles. A glass is poured, then the bottle is put back in the refrigerator for the next customers. As a result, my Coke was practically flat. Frankly, it's not pleasant, especially in a casino where you expect a certain level of quality and service. For a paid drink, I'd like a nice, cold, and fizzy Coke. Individual bottles or a different way of serving drinks would be much more appropriate. It's a small detail, but it's precisely these little details that make all the difference in an establishment like a casino.

16/08/2026: I was passing through Durtol early Sunday morning, accompanied by my three dearest friends. My visit to the Crousti Pain bakery in Durtol was so magical that I forgave my friend for spoiling it for me earlier that evening. A croissant combining softness, sweetness, love, and crispness, which surely gives the establishment its name. Despite the 2D chocolate croissant, the delicious experience I had was all about generosity and family. So here's a catchy slogan idea: Crousti Pain, we don't give a damn... Thank you for everything, thank you to the kind, blonde woman who served us; her hairnet reminded me of the one worn by my Black friend's mother who does a fantastic job at the Saint-Flour hospital. But that's beside the point. You are surely the best bakery I've ever visited and tasted, thank you for everything!

16/08/2026: Good evening, I highly recommend this bakery. The service was impeccable, with a very charming baker who warmly took care of our order. A pain au chocolat, served with such care and love, completely won me over. I hope you'll come and admire the magnificent bread, but I forbid you from flirting with my baker…

30/07/2026: A great lunch break in the heart of the park! 🍽️🌋 The Cafeteria des Puys is ideal for recharging between rides. The selection is varied and beautifully showcases local Auvergne specialties. The self-service system remains efficient even when busy, and the dining area is pleasant and spacious. Excellent value for money!

21/07/2026: Let's start by stating the obvious: we're talking about a small amusement park restaurant... So, those expecting gourmet cuisine will inevitably be disappointed. They'll easily be consoled by the prices: 4-6 Euros for a starter or dessert, 13 Euros (fixed price) for main courses (unlimited sides, plenty of vegetables included), and of course, half price for children. This is significantly less than what you'd pay at Disneyland or Parc Astérix (the self-service burger stands), for example, and even less than half the price of their buffets. On the plate, the ingredients are mostly local (opt for them, by the way) and more than respectable, even good for the desserts and starters. In short, even if you don't have much choice once you enter Vulcania, it's definitely not a last resort...

15/05/2026: A huge thank you and congratulations to Tiphaine at reception who calmly, patiently, logically, with a smile and a touch of humor, managed the disorganization of a group of nearly 80 people for several nights in a row, ensuring everyone had a room to sleep in safely. Beyond her professionalism, she demonstrated great compassion. The hotel is close to the Zenith concert hall, the rooms are very clean and quite comfortable. No complaints whatsoever :)
