Beyond the casino, Saint Nectaire really deserves a longer visit, so as not to miss its petrifying fountains, cave and walks in this very picturesque little town.

06/07/2024: The dinner there was excellent, the restaurant has its charm and the waiters are attentive (they don't hesitate to ask how the cooking was). The menu is quite varied and very explicit, the starters, main courses and deserts are delicious, I can only recommend it to you without hesitation 😁

En regardant de plus pres....des traces de moisissures sur les gaufres...
Elles etaient en plus tres dures donc pas fraiches du tout
A fuir, cela est inadmissible de servir cela

23/07/2024: The waitresses and waiters always have a smile and try to please customers. The dishes are very good with a special mention for the carpaccio, one of the best in the sector, with generous garnishes and seasoning. The only time I was disappointed was on a daily special, the amount of meat was tiny, but that only happened once. Finally, the setting is pleasant, especially the terrace. Keep it up !
13/07/2024: Saturday July 6, 2024, my mother and her grandson were served a BURNED tab with - consequently - a burnt taste: inedible.
You tell me, it happens!
BUT it was explained to them by the waitress and the person who cashed them that it was normal... ... ... (yes yes)
Of course, older people are easier to confuse so we take advantage of it!!!

Campsite is not maintained and quite dirty.
Not recommended
18/09/2024: This campsite is ideally located in the shade with its swimming pool and lake. A real treat when you have your meal at the little restaurant.
The toilets are clean and functional.
The staff is welcoming.

31/08/2024: So bad! Flies on the food. Food was cold. Not a huge choice and very tasteless. Has to be the worst place I have been to for a "meal". Save yourselves the disappointment and do not go!
Si mal! Vole sur la nourriture. La nourriture était froide. Pas un choix énorme et très insipide. Ce doit être le pire endroit où je suis allé pour un "repas". Épargnez-vous la déception et n’y allez pas !

17/09/2024: First average experience, one evening so little atmosphere I think that at lunchtime things are more moving.
In terms of cooking, I took a truffle that arrived warm and cold, of course it was changed quickly, perhaps too much not to think of a microwave which did the job so mixed
14/09/2024: Very disappointed, a meal without flavor, a terrine without sanitation and very little cold meats with the melted Camembert.

27/09/2024: We went in for breakfast but they only had one croissant left so they made us toast!! We then had rosè wine (we were waiting for our laundry). The set menu looked fantastic. Carole was lovely
12/09/2024: Come to eat this lunchtime, the daily menu is only €17 including starter, main course and dessert. Excellent welcome, a very friendly, smiling lady. Excellent home-cooked meal, there is no doubt about it.

Très mal reçu lors du passage de la commande. Donc nous avons fuit très vite
12/08/2024: Au cours d'une cure thermale, nous avons très vite sélectionné cet établissement, nous prenions plaisir à nous arrêter chaque jour, au bar en terrasse ou pour déjeuner.
Les patrons très sympathiques sont très professionnels, l'endroit est agréable.
La cuisine, à base de produits frais de la région, est au top et les babas au rhum à ne pas manquer... Les assiettes sont copieuses et les tarifs très raisonnables.
Nous gardons un très bon souvenir de cette belle brasserie et de ses agréables tenanciers.

14/08/2024: After an introduction to golf with a patient and really kind gentleman we had lunch at the restaurant. The service was very good. The smiling, welcoming and attentive staff, in particular allowed us to change places because of the sun. The dishes were delicious and plentiful. To be done again with pleasure. And the prices are very reasonable
