19/07/2026: The pizzas were very good, but the service was incredibly slow. We had a reservation for 8 pm and our drinks order didn't arrive until 8:40 pm... Our evening was completely ruined by a live band whose sound system was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves speak. It was a real shame and it made us leave without ordering dessert.

18/07/2026: Fantastic restaurant! The welcome was wonderful, the lady was very kind and always smiling, a real pleasure. The quality of the food was excellent and fresh. A great find, we'll definitely be back. Thank you for everything 🙂

05/07/2026: Come learn to cook on Reunion Island! You'll leave feeling enriched! Apart from the Loc Lac beef, the food is bland; you use too much sauce, which is also tasteless! The seasoning is nonexistent! Perfect if you have high blood pressure or diabetes! The Chinese on my island don't even tell you the time when it comes to cooking! The service is not up to the price! Yet the restaurant is full! I must be too demanding...! I do note two positive points, however: the restaurant owners are very friendly and the portions are generous, but please, change the chef and/or the recipes!

20/07/2026: We celebrated our wedding at this restaurant and have very mixed feelings about it. First, we would like to warmly thank the chef. From our very first interactions, he was available, professional, and attentive. His cuisine was excellent and unanimously appreciated by our guests. In fact, it was thanks to him that we chose this establishment, as he was our only point of contact. However, we were very disappointed by the welcome and the attitude of the manager and some of the staff, whom we met the day before the wedding. From the day before the wedding, we felt like we were intruding while they were setting up our decorations. Our requests, though simple and politely made (moving a few tables, arranging the room to our liking), led to comments and judgments about our choices. We also had to endure complaints about the restaurant's internal organization, which was completely inappropriate at that time. The day before our wedding, the manager revisited elements of the quote that had been agreed upon long ago, questioning certain prices and our payment that had already been made. This is not the kind of stress we want to experience just hours before a wedding. On the big day, this feeling unfortunately persisted. Although we had the restaurant until 2:00 a.m., the staff started cleaning up at 12:30 a.m., while our guests were still enjoying the evening. We also received persistent comments about choices that were entirely our own, such as the music for the cake. Finally, while the restaurant was supposed to be reserved exclusively for us, an outsider stayed at the bar with the manager for a large part of the evening, which we found inappropriate. To top it all off, we received a very unpleasant surprise when the bill arrived: nearly €400 for water. In the midst of a heatwave, with the venue lacking air conditioning and despite assurances that water carafes would be provided, we were ultimately charged for approximately fifty bottles of water at nearly €8 each. This unexpected expense only compounded our disappointment. Our biggest disappointment was feeling like an intruder throughout the planning and reception. The bride and groom need to be supported with discretion and kindness, not judged for their choices. What a shame, because the quality of the food truly deserved five stars. Unfortunately, the service and the reception prevent us from recommending this venue for a wedding.

17/05/2026: We booked a wedding reception for 35 people on May 30th. This restaurant had to close on May 12th due to a faulty roof. We only found out about this completely by chance. No communication, not a word of apology, nothing! We might have found out much later, and even then... I know that some of their suppliers weren't even informed. Shameful behavior! On the other hand, I was reimbursed, but without a single word of apology! I'm furious! I'd like to clarify a few things: You only called my partner on May 15th, not the 14th, after the Coubert town hall had already contacted you! I think there's a good chance we would have arrived on the 30th with our guests only to find the doors closed... The reason I left a review on this site is that after my first one on Facebook, I received no response... I believe I was entirely above board during our various video and phone conversations... Please believe me when I say I understand the difficult situation you're facing. However, we ourselves are in a difficult situation to manage! It was people who informed us of this closure on May 15th while passing by your establishment. When did you plan to inform us? Perhaps on May 30th? If you consider my comment a complete lie, I can say the same about your response! It took you over three weeks to cash the deposit check, and even then, I had to call twice to find out why it hadn't been cashed!
