09/07/2025: We came here four years ago, and it was really good. We came back this year, and we bought a doughnut that wasn't fresh at all, completely dry. The Tropéziennes tart, on the other hand, was very good. They shouldn't sell fresher pastries at the same price anymore. When you buy something, you want to buy a fresh pastry.

08/07/2025: The tarte tropezienne is delicious but unfortunately leaves a bitter taste after a hurtful welcome from one of the saleswomen: I suffer from a vocal cord disability, therefore invisible, and this lady allowed herself to rudely insist on the fact that she could not hear me by calling out to her colleague and speaking about me (in front of me) in the third person... Her attitude did not change after I told her about it. I dare to hope that people with visible disabilities will be treated better by this person!

02/05/2026: I've been to this restaurant twice. The terrace is lovely and sunny. The food is excellent. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Special mention for the Thai-style mussels! I'll definitely be back.

26/04/2026: At a wine tasting in Drongen (B), we received a nice and clear explanation from a friendly young lady who couldn't hide her pride in the product. It was nice to see so much professional pride.

22/04/2026: I came to visit the park and the artworks; it was my second time, and I wanted to show the site to my grandchildren. There were many restrictions today: no picnics, and no going towards the Bastide because the owner is there... We had a picnic as a group about two months ago without any problems. It was raining, and there was no way to find a place to escape the rain... Disappointed. We found refuge at the nearby treetop adventure park, where we received a warm welcome.

04/04/2026: A restaurant I highly recommend for its warm welcome, excellent service, and homemade food. Sea bream with baby vegetables, accompanied by a salad, followed by apple crumble with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Delicious.

19/02/2026: What a pleasure to return to this charming, vintage little brasserie on Wednesday, February 18th! It's perfectly preserved, with its bistro tables and zinc bar, complete with boxing gloves hanging next to the bottles of aperitifs and the article about this establishment that appeared in Var Matin (formerly La République du Var - La Provence). I'd like to take this opportunity to greet my talented colleagues (especially my excellent retired friend, Jacques Gantié, food critic) at this newspaper, now part of Nice Matin. The owner always provides a warm, courteous, quick, and friendly welcome, not to mention the home-style cooking, particularly the magnificent and delicious couscous that attracts a large number of regulars of all ages. And I couldn't even finish it, it was so generous! It's true that this couscous (served on Wednesdays and Saturdays) is a benchmark and truly unique! It's also beautifully presented in several courses. I finished with a delicious warm apple tart. Kudos to the chef! A truly excellent value for money, €24 including an aperitif, a good old-fashioned Suze, and coffee. As a result, we were compelled to return, if only to savor his renowned aioli on Fridays (with a small anisette) and to see his friendly owner again. Yes, there are still friendly owners out there!

11/02/2026: I've been a customer for over three years; the pizzas are excellent, the delivery is fast, and the delivery drivers are always very friendly. I highly recommend them.

02/02/2026: I was very surprised by the taste, the crispiness of the crust, and the ingredients inside. It's been a long time since I've eaten such a good pizza. I admit I hadn't been back for quite a while, but I was really surprised this time. The weather was perfect, and the delivery was amazing.

18/04/2026: We came to eat here a few years ago and left delighted; everything was so excellent. The bill was indeed high, but justified given the quality and quantity of the dishes. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. The prices are still the same, but the quality really wasn't there (dry meat and a bland dessert). The owners are still as friendly and welcoming as ever, but the waitresses were very cold, bordering on unpleasant. What a shame!

12/04/2026: Located in the heart of the village on the main square, the welcome is very warm. Once seated, it's a veritable Cannes Film Festival for your taste buds. Simple yet excellent. No frills. A truly delightful experience.

31/03/2026: We very much enjoyed our experience at L’Esquinade. After our first visit, we almost came every other day to this beach restaurant in the summer. The prises are just perfect for the food, the waiters are more than friendly and understanding and the atmosphere was lively. It is a cute place with a rusty but charming look and very good food. Even in spring it is to be recommended highly!
