26/09/2026: During our romantic getaway, my wife and I were captivated by the quality of the food prepared by the chef and his team. All of this was enhanced by a warm welcome and service worthy of a truly excellent restaurant. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

28/08/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. The food was good, and the waitress, who was very pleasant and professional, did her best to ensure we had a good meal. Unfortunately, the owner's attitude completely ruined our lunch. We were subjected to several unpleasant remarks and a particularly inappropriate way of speaking to us. At one point, he even spilled part of our dish on us, without seeming to mind at all. He offered no apology whatsoever. The most regrettable aspect was his behavior towards the waitress. It's a shame because the food is good, and the waitress truly deserves praise for her professionalism. But the owner's poor service and behavior unfortunately overshadowed the overall experience. We will not be returning.

08/09/2026: Absolutely fantastic! We came twice and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Angus was amazing! Desserts: lemon-rum ice cream (Blackbeard) and roasted pineapple flambéed with rum, and the service was top-notch! Check out the restrooms, they're worth a visit!

19/08/2026: I enjoy this place and come about twice a year when I'm in the area, drawn by the setting and the quality of the village-style dining. This time, however, I was disappointed: the local beer was out of stock (replaced by Heineken), and several dishes and cocktails on the menu were unavailable. The gin-cured salmon starter was drowned in an unconvincing dill foam and a vinaigrette that looked industrially produced. The braised beef was flavorful but served a little cold in places. Only the dessert, an excellent verbena flan, saved the meal. I expected more finesse and consistency, especially considering the prices.

15/08/2026: A place, a magnificent terrace under a huge vine, we ate very, very well, excellent meats, fabulous sauce, dessert crepe susette prepared in front of you, fabulous...I recommend it.

Add to that very reasonable prices considering the quality offered: the value for money is truly excellent. It's the kind of place you love to discover and, above all, where you'll be happy to return. I recommend Au Pied de Poule without hesitation!
