17/01/2026: The wait to be served was incredibly long despite the small number of customers and our proximity to the entrance. The food was likely reheated and lacked any real flavor (a rarity in France!). The service was blatantly inconsistent, with regulars receiving different treatment than other customers. All this on a very pleasant street in the city center. Avoid this place and stick to the bistros nearby!

18/01/2026: The coffees are simply the best. The burger is amazing. The service is top-notch; I feel right at home.

03/01/2026: Very disappointed. Only the two women tried to salvage the place by being polite and smiling, because both the location and the food were very basic and poor quality. It's not exactly clean; the smell in the toilets alone speaks volumes. In short, it was pointless and offered no enjoyment whatsoever. Just to clarify, my wife and I were the only ones there to eat at 12:30 pm after booking through TheFork!

21/09/2024: Very friendly and efficient waitress, I enjoyed my Milanese very well served, very good value for money. In addition, there is a pedestrian lane which avoids noise and exhaust gases.

14/09/2024: The location is nice! The food came in at different times. One of the dishes was forgotten for 10 minutes and came in when some of the party had finished eating. The half chicken was dry and poorly seasoned. We ordered crepes for dessert, which were also quite boring.

From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the entire evening. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely seemed to care that every guest was having a great experience. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully designed – cozy yet elegant, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that creates the perfect ambiance for a relaxed meal. Whether you're going out for a romantic dinner, meeting friends, or enjoying a family gathering, this place makes you feel right at home. Now onto the food – absolutely outstanding. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection. The pasta was fresh and perfectly al dente, the sauces rich and flavorful without being too heavy. I had the [insert dish you had, e.g., "Tagliatelle al Tartufo"], and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion in the preparation. The pizza was equally delicious, with a thin, crispy crust and just the right amount of toppings. 11/01/2026: Unpleasant experience; you're greeted with headphones on, and you wait for 30 minutes before realizing no one will come to serve you. It's truly regrettable.

31/12/2025: I don't know where to begin... The positive point is that the staff are motivated and friendly. Unfortunately, there's a huge lack of professionalism and organization at every level. The wait can be around an hour, without water (which you have to ask for several times), without napkins, without a glass... You have to ask for everything. There was supposedly no menu; the waitress dictated five measly pizzas and a daily special (a tartiflette, apparently, was "a carbonara with potatoes" 🥲), while the people at the next table had a menu (for three). The place in general is dirty; the cutlery, the toilets—it's repulsive. There's no electricity in the toilets, no light, no hand dryer, and the water is freezing. The meal was a complete disaster, and I acknowledge the pizza maker's good intentions to do everything quickly and well, but it wasn't good at all. These people deserve help from a professional in the culinary and service fields, because deep down they aren't malicious or unpleasant, just very disorganized. Yet another restaurant with high potential that falls victim to a lack of competition.

24/10/2025: So. We had a salade nicoise, which was actually quite good. Sure, the price includes the great view. However, the baguette was rock hard. After complaining, one piece was fine, but the rest was rock hard. Also, there was no running water in the restroom for washing hands. Yuck.

22/10/2025: It is not necessary to buy a parasol or sunbed. You can order drinks or food and sit at the table. Drinks and food are separated from the table. I only drank coffee, so I don't know the taste.

11/09/2024: I’ve only been here for breakfast, and every time it’s been really good, the bread the pastry and coffee. Plus the atmosphere is very nice and the square is so beautiful with the green leaves.

04/01/2026: I ordered two pizzas at 7:32 PM. At 8:25 PM, we called the pizzeria again, and they told us they would send the pizzas out immediately. At 8:43 PM, the delivery driver arrived with the pizzas, which were cold. He looked at them and told me that the pizzas had been awaiting delivery since 8:02 PM, according to the receipt. I refused the delivery. The owner called me a little later and told me that since I hadn't accepted the delivery, he was putting me on his blacklist and that I could no longer order from him. I've been a Míster Pizza customer for 10 years. I conclude that I'm forced to wait and accept cold pizzas, pay for them, and say nothing. According to Míster Pizza's policy, pizzas shouldn't be delivered below 65°C.

08/12/2025: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. The staff and cleanliness are OK, but this hotel has major flaws! All the rooms are on a single floor. Parking is very difficult. We were placed above McDonald's, so the smell of grease lingered in the room all night. There's a step in the shower itself, so there's a risk of falling. No restaurant, no lounge—this hotel is more like a train station for business travelers than a place to enjoy the Promenade des Anglais.

03/12/2025: I chose the Mercure Nice Promenade des Anglais for a business trip, hoping to get some rest and sleep in the mornings before starting my day. Unfortunately, the stay was very disappointing. Upon arrival, I couldn't get a room key card due to a malfunction. As a result, the receptionist (who was completely blameless and very professional) had to accompany me every time I entered or left the room. This completely undermined my independence, which was very uncomfortable. I was also hoping to catch up on sleep in the mornings… but I was woken up at 8 a.m. by deafening construction noise. No one had warned me about it, either when I booked or upon arrival. The soundproofing is truly terrible, adding to the discomfort. Finally, the value for money is far below what one would expect from a hotel in this category, given the quality of the room and the overall experience. In summary: between the lack of autonomy, the unreported noise and the quality of services, this hotel is simply to be avoided.

31/08/2024: Pizzas, lasagna, burgers... Everything is excellent! I'm a regular at the restaurant and it's not for nothing: the dishes are very good, the setting is friendly, the staff is very kind and professional, go there with your eyes closed, you won't regret it!

30/08/2024: The quality of the meals was great! Speed ​​at the top! The only problem is the waitress's final remark (brown ponytail) which clearly turned on my husband! Asking her openly that if she agreed to take her bank card what did she get in exchange! (because we always play a game of who will pay for each other) there were 4 of us and I think she probably shouldn't not knowing it was my husband but it's still very cheeky.

02/07/2025: I strongly advise against it. Twice in 15 days I've entered this bakery and waited patiently for my turn while the employees chatted without caring who was coming in and served people who were coming in through the second entrance, without taking into account the people already waiting.
