27/02/2026: We were looking for a nice, quiet place to eat. We stumbled upon this place and were definitely not disappointed! The owner gave us excellent recommendations for our meal, but most importantly... it was absolutely delicious. Simple but truly excellent. A perfect spot for anyone wanting a relaxing evening and a great meal.

15/04/2026: We ate at La Table de Domi, located on the small Place Surian, right in the heart of Vence's historic center. The restaurant is easily recognizable by its peaceful terrace overlooking the square, and also boasts a lovely, tastefully decorated interior. The menu features traditional cuisine with a focus on homemade dishes. We saw a classic selection of meat and fish, but the restaurant's unique feature is its specialty: flambéed tagliatelle prepared directly in a Parmesan wheel right before the customers' eyes—a truly memorable experience! The presentation is meticulous, and the ingredients are fresh. We chose the tagliatelle from the Southwest, cooked with foie gras and garnished with cured ham—a delight! The welcome is warm, and the staff is attentive. It's a great place for an excellent meal, a little removed from the hustle and bustle of the busiest streets in old Vence.

29/03/2026: We sat down at picnic-style tables on the sidewalk, thinking they were open to everyone. There was no indication that they belonged to the restaurant, which was also closed. The owner then appeared… to ask us to leave—my 80-year-old disabled mother, a toddler, and other people who were already seated—even though there was no disturbance and his restaurant was clearly closed. Apparently, customer service and consideration for visitors are not on his agenda. A very negative experience that doesn't reflect well on the resort; we will never eat there again.

26/04/2026: 20 minutes after our arrival, despite our greetings and requests to take our order, the waiter preferred to tidy up the tables next to us and walk back and forth, deliberately ignoring us.

26/04/2026: We stopped by on April 26, 2026, around 5:30 PM for a drink on the terrace. Despite the fact that the waiter saw us sit down, he didn't even bother to greet us or take our order! Fifteen minutes later, I went to speak to them, and he curtly told me, staring at his screen, to go sit down and say he'd come. He did come by five minutes later to clear the tables around us, still without a glance in our direction (even though our table needed clearing too)! Given his age and years in the business, I wouldn't presume to tell him that, which suggests he didn't like the look of us. Not very professional and frankly, an outrageous attitude.

26/10/2025: My mother ordered a cake a bit "last minute" (48 hours in advance when cakes apparently require 72 hours of preparation) for my birthday. The manager was accommodating by putting aside a cake initially intended for the window but a size for 6/8 people when we only needed a 3/4. When we came to pick it up we went straight to the checkout but no salesperson (even though there were 3 of them) paid for us, rushing to serve two other customers who arrived after us (maybe we weren't dressed well enough for Lenôtre, I don't know) I signaled to a salesperson and my mother called out to her, telling her that she had just come to pick up a cake that had already been paid for. My mother was surprised by the volume of the bag and the 2 boxes when she had only ordered one cake. The saleswoman says "maybe it's a gift since it's for a birthday", my mother insists "I'd be surprised, can we check the contents of the boxes?", the 2nd box contained the marzipan birthday plate for the cake. My mother is surprised that it's free but ends up accepting the bag and leaving. 2 hours later she receives a voicemail from the manager saying that we have to come back and pay for the plate, at 8 euros. Terrible service, a saleswoman who insists with her "gift" plate and the manager who comes again to ask us for the plate at 8 euros... my mother lives in Le Cannet and does not have a vehicle. She has better things to do than come and fix the saleswoman's mistakes. What a drop in quality. We are better served in an average bakery. (The cake was nevertheless very good).

03/04/2026: We ordered three takeout pizzas. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The preparation was very quick, and the pizzas were really good. We're really satisfied.

15/03/2026: The pizzas weren't bad, but nothing extraordinary. My only complaint is about the waitress who was in such a hurry to clear our table. We'd barely put the last piece of pizza in our mouths before she was clearing our table and demanding payment 🤐 Unbelievable, I've never seen anything like it...

16/05/2026: We found this place on the spur of the moment. The view was great, as the terrace was right in front of the seaside dock. The food tasted decent on average. Unfortunately, the pesto spaghetti I ordered was under-seasoned, so I had to add quite a bit of salt, but the Dolce Vita Ravioli my husband ordered was absolutely delicious. Perhaps because there weren't many servers during lunchtime, quite a few customers turned away after waiting.

13/05/2026: Les Incompris is a must-visit restaurant in Menton, which makes our experience all the more disappointing. As for the food, the quality was undeniable. The sea bream was delicious, accompanied by a well-prepared ratatouille and pleasant potatoes, even if they were a bit too greasy for our taste. The service, however, proved quite disappointing. The staff were friendly, but lacked attentiveness and, above all, anticipation, which disrupted the flow of the meal. The most problematic aspect was the musical entertainment on the evening of May 12th. The artist adopted a particularly intrusive style, more suited to a party than the atmosphere one expects in a restaurant. Positioned right next to our table, he sang at an excessive volume, making conversation virtually impossible. When choosing a restaurant, it's also to share a convivial moment and chat comfortably with your fellow diners. That evening, the background noise unfortunately turned our dinner into a painful experience and completely ruined what could have been a very nice evening.

Duck with mushrooms as a starter Shredded lamb and sweet potato Caramelized apple tart with vanilla ice cream. The experience was in a simple and perfectly calm setting, ideal for a romantic evening.
