08/12/2025: Hello, we ordered couscous to go. It was delicious, a generous portion, the broth was perfect with lots of vegetables. Perfect!

13/11/2025: We came to this restaurant for my wife's birthday. It specializes in beef, offering both French and imported varieties. During our aperitif, we enjoyed a charcuterie board featuring a house specialty: beef rillettes. I'd never tried them before, and we all loved them. For our main courses, we ordered ribeye steak and burgers, both served with fries cooked in beef fat, just like the rillettes—a completely new culinary experience for me and my family. In short, if you're a fan of red meat, and especially beef, this is the restaurant to go to. ;-)

24/01/2026: We were served by Lou, who was very lovely, smiling, and professional. However, the meal was tasteless; it lacked spices, etc. I ordered a sirloin steak, but the meat had no flavor. But the desserts were good!

03/09/2024: On a attendu très longtemps (trop) pour de simples salades, plus l’entrée choisie mais on n’a l’info que 15 min après la commande. Serveurs à peine agréable (le stricte minimum) En bref, cela faisait longtemps qu’on n’y était pas allés maintenant on sait pourquoi.

24/01/2026: A friendly, simple place where you can eat good burgers. Open 7 days a week, which is a huge advantage with its long hours! A real place where you can eat whenever you want, from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm, and in Saint-Étienne, that's so rare!

28/09/2024: Despite our late arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Dado. His big smile and his kindness quickly put us at ease and in a good mood. It's been a long time since we went to a restaurant (we are two young, tired parents with few opportunities to go out as a couple) and it did us a lot of good to come across someone so friendly and cheerful. . Thank you for allowing us to enjoy our evening! The minus star for the kitchen is simply for the “sun vegetables” garnish which was made up (too) largely of onions. Maybe because it was late, but that was the downside. Otherwise everything was very good and very friendly servers. And thanks again to Dado!

08/07/2025: For a first experience at this establishment, a disaster. A very good country terrine, a good foie gras, but for my part, a little too peppery. As for the rest, I can't say!!!! The waiters forgot about us after an hour of waiting, so we got up. When it came to payment, they told me: "I'm not charging you for the dishes!" I replied, "Luckily, we didn't have them..." Not an excuse, nothing, too bad!!!

28/06/2025: The flank steak was very good, cooked over a wood fire. The service was top-notch and friendly; they made sure we were on time for an appointment we had in the early afternoon. The terrace is pleasant and protected from the sun. I recommend it!

07/12/2025: This café is a real gem: a lovely setting with a large, sunny terrace offering a direct view of the beautiful Parc des Buttes-Chaumont. The food is good, but the highlight is the service: it's excellent, quick, and attentive. A must-visit for lunch in the sun or a delicious break. I highly recommend it!

22/11/2025: I stumbled upon this place by chance, and I hope to return soon. I had a wonderful time, and the food was absolutely delicious. A few amuse-bouches with the house aperitif are always a nice touch, and the rest of the meal is clearly cooked on-site; you can tell everything is homemade. The staff is very attentive, which is a real plus. You feel right at home by the fire; the meats cooking in the fireplace, accompanied by the gentle aroma of grapevines, are pure bliss. And the price is exceptional these days: €18.90 for a starter, main course, and dessert—perfect for homemade food.
