28/08/2026: We stayed there for a motorcycle trip. The service and breakfast were excellent. The rooms were fine and always clean. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open every day, but there were alternatives in town.

13/08/2026: What a pleasure to discover this restaurant in Hœrdt! We had a wonderful time and were delighted by the quality of the food. The meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. The dessert, with its delicate presentation and chocolate leaf decoration, was a true feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Everything came together for a perfect evening in a very pleasant atmosphere. We will gladly return to try the rest of the menu.

25/08/2026: Terrible experience — appalling service We had booked a table in advance at this restaurant precisely because we wanted to enjoy a beautiful view. I had even specified by email that we were coming for a special occasion: our wedding trip. Upon arrival, we were told that there were no more tables with a view. I explained that I had indeed booked and received a confirmation. The person simply turned on their heel and went back inside, without any explanation, without offering a solution, and without even coming back to us. We were left at the entrance, completely ignored. No one attended to us, no one came to offer us another table or even explain the situation. After waiting for about five minutes as if we didn't exist, we simply decided to leave. We came with a confirmed reservation and left without eating, without any attention, and above all, with a feeling of utter contempt. For an occasion as important as our wedding trip, we expected at least a decent welcome and a little consideration. An extremely disappointing experience. We will not be returning and I strongly advise against staying at this establishment.

15/07/2026: We had the three-course lunch for €25 and were absolutely delighted. The food was a first-class culinary experience that we hadn't expected at such a reasonable price. You can sit outside right by the river, either under a roof or parasols. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive.

Besides the restaurant itself, there's also Kathia and Jean-Luc, without whom the restaurant wouldn't have the same prestige. The food is impeccable, delicious, and unpretentious, simply served with care, just like at home. 10/07/2026: A very warm welcome, the setting is pleasant, though it could have been a bit warmer (a little chilly). There was a bit of a wait for the first course, but after that it was fine. It was delicious, with a modern twist on classic flavors. I would gladly return. Outdoor seating is available in the summer.

05/07/2026: A very nice place, with good tarte flambée. Not a huge selection of beers. The starter was decent, but the tarte flambée was a real highlight, especially the scallop one, incredibly good. The trio of crème brûlée was delicious. Disappointed with the Otrott red wine offered by the restaurant, but overall a very pleasant evening.

09/07/2026: Good experience: the food was good, and the staff and manager were friendly. As someone who loves peace and quiet, I appreciated coming when it wasn't very busy. However, many people ordered takeout, which speaks volumes about the quality of the food.

02/02/2026: The acoustics are deplorable, unfortunately, despite an initial renovation! When will the brasserie, or at least a tea room, reopen? It was a promise made during the current or even previous election term!

20/08/2026: We enjoyed the lovely shaded terrace in a pleasant, green setting. The menu offers a good selection, especially the cocktails. We tried the grilled chicken and the ravioli with pistachio pesto, followed by the French toast with Nutella and the raspberry tiramisu for dessert. Everything was delicious. A great place to enjoy a meal on the terrace in Illkirch.
