13/12/2024: Modern, original cuisine but too little on the plate and lack of vegetables/raw vegetables. We took the daily menu, not a la carte. This is our only downside.

05/12/2024: My family and I went to eat in this restaurant located in Krutenau. Very nice discovery, from the wine list to the fine dishes, everything was perfect. Freshness, friendliness, all in a warm and modern setting.

12/12/2025: Takeout order. The children's three toys and the Stranger Things glass were missing! This is very unfortunate. It's impossible to reach them by phone; it just goes to voicemail. In short, a disappointment.

10/12/2025: My order took forever to arrive, I honestly don't understand the service. Don't go there if you're hungry, it's so slow! On top of that, they forgot my nuggets and when I told them, they said I'd have to wait. Seriously incompetent there, and the portion size is stingy, frankly.

18/02/2026: We regularly come to S'Fassner Stuebel to enjoy their tarte flambée, as my wife and I consider it one of the best in Alsace. We absolutely love it. This time, we came for a special evening event, which was a mussels and fries night. It felt very strange not to order tarte flambée at this restaurant :-) After a small aperitif, we tucked into the mussels and fries until we were full, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. We'd been wanting to try them for a while, so it was perfect timing... We then ordered the vacherin glacé (ice cream cake) and a homemade meringue with whipped cream, and to finish, a traditional coffee accompanied by a small liqueur offered by the owner. We had a wonderful evening and will be back very soon to eat again, and as always, enjoy their sublime tarte flambée...

15/02/2026: We had a fantastic meal. The beers were amazing. I had the homemade cordon bleu with spaetzle, a real treat, and the lantern burger was also delicious. We'll definitely be back! ☺️

05/12/2025: A warm welcome, delicious meals, not to mention the homemade red berry nougat – a true delight! The decorations were stunning, a real taste of Christmas. Congratulations to the decorator! 🤩

28/11/2025: Had a fantastic dinner here. Came with family and friends and everyone was extremely satisfied with the food and the good service. Firstly, after ordering we got a complimentary amuse-bouche which was Pureed Pea Soup / Potage Saint-Germain. It was delicious and a great start. The Foie gras was classic. A nice appetizer to share, served with bread. Then as a main I tried the Braised Ham Hock / Jambonneau Braisé and it was so delicious and tender. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, melts in your mouth. The only negative was the dessert I tried. We were in a rush at the end of the meal and when we informed the waiter our desserts came out almost instantly. The creme brûlée and creme caramel that people ordered was perfect but I got the chocolate ice cream and sadly it wasn't creamy and it wasn't frozen well because it had ice pieces inside. Other than that everything was fantastic! I highly recommend making a reservation before coming here since it's quite popular and is almost always full.

19/08/2025: Meat was good but the fish was terrible. Although part of the staff was Although part of the staff was very kind, some were not taking allergies serious. We asked for products without milk as our baby has a serious milk allergy and still got sauce on the salmon that we had to send back to get a bad tail piece back (not even fresh). They charged us for the milk free sides (overcooked veggies) and got rude and started laughing at us when we complained. A place to avoid! Bad food bad staff!

05/02/2026: Whenever I'm in town, a stop at Mezzo is a must! The pasta is excellent and the staff is very welcoming.

17/09/2025: The portions are really small: 10 euros for only 6 ravioli seems excessive. Moreover, the pasta is very bland. The value for money is not there. Avoid.

23/01/2026: The tarte flambée was acceptable, nothing special (it didn't exactly make me want to come back), but the waitress's friendliness (who, sadly, was also the owner) was ZERO. So, all things considered, I'll never return. The decor is also rather unremarkable for an Alsatian restaurant.

We opted for the all-you-can-eat tapas, and everything was of exceptional quality: fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and a great variety… a real pleasure from start to finish. The service also deserves a special mention: an attentive waiter in an atmosphere that was both incredibly relaxed and welcoming, yet highly professional. You immediately feel at ease. We recommend this place without hesitation. And to top it all off, the value for money is simply unbeatable. 👌

24/01/2026: Very disappointed. A very long wait. The tarte flambée was half raw, the vol-au-vents had almost no meat, and when there was any, it was mostly fat—thankfully you used fresh mushrooms! The Côtes du Rhône by the pitcher was really not good.
