03/05/2026: I love this place! I've been four times already. Every time I go to Strasbourg, I eat here. It's very peaceful and not touristy. The food is typical of Alsace. The coffee is some of the best I've ever had, and the desserts are delicious.

26/04/2026: A very bad experience today at this establishment, which will soon be able to put up a sign saying "Closed due to wealth." I was planning to visit this establishment with my 91-year-old mother, who lives in the village nursing home. For your information, I already travel 40 km to get to this remote place. There isn't a single tea room, café, or pastry shop for miles around. So, I took precautions and called the establishment at 12:30 pm on the day of my visit to ask if it was possible to come in the afternoon for coffee, cake, or ice cream. I was told yes, that the "tea room" service was open from 3 pm. I asked if I needed to make a reservation, and they asked how many people I was in. I said two, and they replied, "No need to make a reservation." I went to pick up my mother from the nursing home, took her for a walk, and arrived at the facility around 3:30-3:40 PM. We were told very curtly that there were no seats in the dining room and that we should look "downstairs," but that it was probably full. I reminded the woman that I had called anyway, and her response was, "I told you we don't take reservations." No, ma'am, you told me that for two people there was no need to reserve. Anyway. I found myself at 4:00 PM with my mother in my arms and nowhere to go for coffee, and of course, I hadn't planned to bring cake like I usually do when I visit her at the nursing home and we have coffee there. 4:00 PM was too late to go to Haguenau or Wissembourg. Madam, with this attitude towards customers, you'll soon have no reason to complain about having too many. As for me, you've only ruined one afternoon with my mother. I will NEVER set foot in your money-making machine. PS: The waiter downstairs was just as pleasant.

01/05/2026: My review concerns a relaxation massage with Mélanie: The massage was simply magnificent. Every movement was fluid, enveloping, and deeply relaxing. I have rarely felt such a complete disconnection; it's a treatment that soothes both body and mind. I left feeling totally rejuvenated. The movements were precise, rhythmic, and incredibly gentle. It is without a doubt one of the best treatments I have ever received. A wonderful experience that I highly recommend.

15/05/2026: Brassens didn't compose "L'Auvergnat" in this establishment... Looking for a place to warm up and have a coffee after a storm I'd cycled through, I wasn't exactly welcome inside. I was told the place hasn't been a brasserie for 15 years... otherwise, it's just an open invitation to people who just want... a coffee! I was simply asking to warm up, to find a cozy corner for five minutes, and have a comforting drink. Just basic hospitality. I sincerely hope my experience will make you reflect in the future on the pleasure of providing a service.

16/01/2026: A truly wonderful restaurant in Nothalten. Waegell offers generous and flavorful traditional Alsatian cuisine, prepared with high-quality ingredients. The dishes are hearty, authentic, and true to the recipes of our region. I particularly recommend the platter of potato pancakes with smoked salmon and salad. The setting is warm and typical, with an authentic atmosphere that gives the place its charm. The welcome is friendly and the service attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. A restaurant to recommend without hesitation for anyone wishing to discover or rediscover authentic cuisine. Catering service available. Parking.

01/06/2026: The food is really delicious, but for breakfast there were only two options: the dish in the photo or a few slices of bread with jam. I would recommend going there for lunch, as there's a wider selection then. I can definitely recommend the freshly squeezed orange juice, though – it's really juicy and delicious!

28/05/2026: A really cool and interesting place! I recommend it to all wine and cheese lovers, you'll definitely love it)) It's a "laboratory" for tasting wine and cheese. That's just how it works. I've been here before, and it's always a delight! What's special about this place is that they offer several options for tasting wine and cheese at the same time! Wine is served in test tubes (there are white or red wine sets) and interesting cheeses are specially selected to pair them... You'll be given a brief introduction to the wine, cheese, and then off you go on a culinary journey! You need to follow a strict order and follow a simple rule... first a sip of wine, then a separate piece of cheese (matched to it), and then the wine and cheese! And then the same thing! You'll be positively shocked by the flavors and sensations. It's really cool! Of course, the last option will be the most interesting... worth trying.
