16/01/2026: I'm beyond disappointed. I've been ordering my pizzas from them for two years. Living only 2km away, I've always been well received and there have never been any problems. However, I called this evening to order two pizzas at 6:45 pm and the man on the phone politely brushed me off, telling me that orders are only taken until 6 pm and that I have all day to do it. Well, first of all, no, because I have a job too. I asked him if this was a new policy? He didn't answer and just said thank you and goodbye. I must be dreaming! Is this a joke?

19/02/2026: I tried Restaurant U Gallia very early when I arrived in Strasbourg, and even after 5 years, it remains the most chic university restaurant in the city in my opinion. The atmosphere is clean and modern, the space is well organized, and the overall experience feels more premium than typical CROUS restaurants. I’ve always had a good feeling about this place. It’s also ideally located near the Bibliothèque nationale et universitaire de Strasbourg (BNU) and close to Alinea, which makes it very convenient for students spending the day studying in the city center.

From the moment you arrive, the exterior is well-maintained, modern, and easily accessible, with a pleasant atmosphere that immediately invites you inside. Inside, the shop is impeccable: extremely clean, well-organized, and bright. The displays are clear and perfectly showcase a wide variety of chocolates, offered in many forms: bars, molded chocolates, assortments, confectionery… there’s something for everyone. The layout is enjoyable and allows you to discover chocolate from different perspectives, making the visit both delicious and informative. At the checkout, the cashier is friendly, helpful, and professional, which further enhances the positive experience. You can buy chocolate individually or by the kilo, with attractive promotions on certain products nearing their expiration date—an excellent opportunity to treat yourself at a great price without compromising on quality. A visit we highly recommend, as much for the quality of the welcome and the exemplary cleanliness as for the richness and variety of chocolates on offer. A truly delightful experience for chocolate lovers.

28/12/2025: I swear this is by far the best Prawns Briyani of my life. My friend ate lamb briyani. It was amazing as well. I wanted it extra spicy. And they cooked it so perfectly. It was so delicious and full of flavor. Perfectly cooked prawns and amazing aroma. Incredible taste. And I came back for the second time before I depart from Strasbourg. Also, i took away one more packet for my family who lives in Bordeaux. Highly recommended!

26/12/2025: This is definitely not an Indian restaurant. Although the name is Madras Restaurant, they do not serve any South Indian dishes. The veg food even smells like chicken. The staff is also not very friendly.

23/01/2026: Contrary to the opinions of those who criticize this establishment, we had one of the best restaurant experiences of our lives. We enjoyed a meal for two thanks to a Wonderbox gift certificate we received for Christmas. The four-course meal was exceptionally generous and of outstanding quality. Everything was excellent, varied, freshly prepared, and, most importantly, the portions were more than ample for a Wonderbox meal (selected by the restaurant itself). Furthermore, the service was attentive, the staff were smiling, and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. In short, a wonderful time spent in a beautiful setting with friendly and welcoming staff, and an exceptional meal. I highly recommend this place!

23/08/2025: A customer for many years, never disappointed, everything was always perfect, and last night the big disappointment with friends to introduce them to this pizzeria, 1 hour for 5 pizzas, almost non-existent service, in short disappointing, we will only go back if they have the usual waitress who is very helpful and professional, without forgetting the boss who of course is always on top of things but who cannot manage everything, can't wait to see the perfect duo again, pizza always very good and generous, cordially Franck

17/06/2025: We ordered a tarte flambée and had intended to eat only tarte flambée. But the tarte flambée had three layers of crème fraîche, large piles of bacon on some slices and almost none on others, and the same for the onions. So we ordered dishes: mixed salad, kidneys, and queen's bites. The spätzle weren't good, the salad and queen's bites were average. The food was disappointing, but the service was impeccable. The atmosphere was very pleasant as well.

09/12/2025: Passing through Woerth today, I stopped for the set menu. The food is simple but good, typical of a restaurant offering a daily special. The biggest plus: the very friendly service. A welcoming place for a quick lunch. In short, 3 stars for honest food.
