15/02/2026: The restaurant is clean and the staff very friendly, but as for the food, we arrived around 8 pm, the appetizer was served around 9:15 pm, and by 10 pm the main course still hadn't arrived… especially since it was good, but nothing special.

14/02/2026: Passing through, we decided to book a table at this restaurant. The atmosphere was surprisingly calm for a full restaurant. We chose a set menu item: a 1 hour 15 minute wait for our appetizers: spring rolls and shrimp fritters. It was incredibly long, which is a shame because the food was quite good. Not a single word of apology for the delay… I have no desire to return on my next trip.

30/12/2025: While passing through the region, we had trouble finding a reasonably priced hotel near Strasbourg (Christmas period). I chose this one, but I must admit I was very disappointed after paying €240 (in advance) for two nights (without breakfast). I should mention that the staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel seems old and, in our opinion, desperately needs a renovation. We arrived at 5 or 6 PM, and the reception desk was closed with a shutter, and the room keys were left on it… Anyone could have entered our room… I was very surprised by this system. The room itself was small but adequate, and the bed was very small but sufficient. The floral bedspread looked dated, as did the mismatched velvet cushions. Hygiene-wise, non-washable velvet cushions have no place on a bed where different people sleep each night… this bothered me greatly… the pillows were thin and uncomfortable. The rooms have no soundproofing: we could hear the dog barking at the other end of the hotel, the construction work, and even the people using the bathroom in the next room… (🫨). The heating is inadequate and it gets cold quickly, especially in December. For breakfast, we paid €50 for two people for two mornings (€11.50 x 4 + tax). There was little choice, and few, if any, savory options, so we made do with what was on offer. In short, considering the prices, I think the hotel should be modernized and renovated (while still retaining its typical Alsatian charm).

29/12/2025: A 3-night stay over the holidays, good value for money and a welcoming staff. Everything went smoothly. The hotel isn't brand new, but the bathroom has been renovated and the bedding is comfortable; I felt right at home. The beautiful view of the Ill River adds a lot of charm to the hotel.

18/02/2026: A superb experience. We were completely immersed in the world of the Middle Ages! A timeless moment that allowed us to have a wonderful time. Typical Alsatian dishes, attentive and very pleasant staff! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!!

14/02/2026: Gurtlerhof offers excellent food. The snails as a starter are divine, and the pork cheeks as a main course are a real highlight. The crème brûlée is so delicious, superb!

02/07/2024: Accidental discovery on our motorcycle trip. Remote and well attended, that's a good sign. It was made better by the very friendly service and the incredibly good meal of the day! The best moussaka I've ever eaten :)

24/01/2026: A warm and welcoming atmosphere. Chef Lucas Ramstein is a member of the JRE (Jeunes Régionaux d'Établissements) and offers refined and flavorful cuisine while remaining true to local traditions.

22/01/2026: We booked one of the small chalets for a cozy birthday celebration. The three pieces of dry-aged meat were excellent, as were all the side dishes. I highly recommend it.

07/12/2025: A typical Alsatian restaurant with regional cuisine. The two cabins are especially great for groups. Platters of meat, chicken, fish, and prawns are served there for grilling yourself. An open fire burns in the center. Friendly service.

17/02/2026: On Sunday, I went to the drive-thru. There were four cars ahead of me, and after 15 minutes, no car had moved. I backed up to go inside and order. After ordering, I waited an hour to receive my order, with children in tow. After another 30 minutes, I asked what was happening and was told my order was being processed. After an hour, I finally received my order, only to discover that three portions of fries were missing. I complained, and they were returned. I find it shameful to have to wait an hour for your order.

16/02/2026: A very bad experience at this McDonald's in Erstein. Over a 50-minute wait for just two sandwich meals, which is completely unacceptable for a fast-food restaurant. The worst part was the manager's attitude, which was particularly unpleasant: a condescending tone, no apologies, and a very inappropriate way of speaking to customers. You really feel like you're bothering them. I absolutely do not recommend it.

13/01/2026: I love their buffet platter full of fresh raw vegetables! The meat is cooked very well; I recommend the hanger steak!

15/12/2025: Order for about twenty people. Exorbitant price for the quantity delivered. I do not recommend.

11/02/2026: I ordered a Big Mac today, and it turned out to be half-cooked. Half the meat was cooked, and since I'm pregnant, that could be very serious! When I told McDonald's, they said, word for word, "I doubt it, ma'am." So I insisted and said I had a picture, but then they said, "I'll give you another sandwich." No thanks, I won't be eating at that McDonald's again.

10/12/2025: The staff are very friendly and courteous; Raphaël takes excellent care of his customers. Top-notch.

10/12/2025: McDonald's is a bit cramped in the Dorlisheim shopping area. Access isn't easy. It was crowded on this Tuesday evening. Service was quick; the Big Arch was served promptly and piping hot, as were the fries.

09/12/2025: Our canteen. Great, it's good, varied, and inexpensive. The only slight drawback... the noise, it's a bit much during break time.

21/07/2025: Despite its pleasant new premises and warm welcome, Agricas has lost its former reputation. The good, well-prepared traditional menus have given way to strange dishes with convoluted names, poorly prepared, overly spicy, and sometimes even bad flavors. A year later, this restaurant has unfortunately failed to improve the quality and diversity of its menus.

29/01/2026: Unheated plates, so the meal was half cold! The staff were unfriendly and never smiled! It's a real rip-off if you order a half-liter of Pinot Noir by the carafe; they'll automatically bring you the more expensive of the two wines on the menu unless you specify this when ordering! You don't always pay attention, and they take advantage of that! €20 for a half-liter is expensive, and €14 for the cheapest one, which they unfortunately don't suggest! We fell for it once, but not twice! We'll never set foot in there again!

22/01/2026: The cordon bleu with burnt Munster cheese, delivered... no respect whatsoever. The chocolate charlotte was underwhelming and unappetizing. First and last time for us, true Strasbourg natives. Oh well, we'll just have the fries.

22/11/2025: Very disappointed with the manalas. They've been our favorites for a long time, but this year I find they're not the same as before. They've gone on a serious diet; they used to be nice and plump. And by 3 pm (so not the end of the day), they're almost empty.
