20/12/2025: Absolutely fantastic! We came as a group of four adults and four children, and we left with huge smiles. Delicious, local, incredibly welcoming, and super generous portions (Alsatian style).

31/05/2026: Avoid at all costs!!! We made a reservation and they gave seats to people they know without having booked! We waited for over 30 minutes and all the tables were given to the owner's friends. Absolutely no respect for his customers, and he even laughed in our faces!

24/02/2026: I've been eating here for years. With family, friends, on romantic dates with my sweetheart, and for every birthday for the last six or seven years. The quality hasn't changed at all, and despite the ambiance or exterior not being everyone's cupboard, the value for money is the best in Strasbourg for a Japanese restaurant. And a major plus: the fish is incredibly fresh, always easy to digest, and I've never gotten sick, unlike at other restaurants! This restaurant deserves so many more customers...

14/01/2026: I had it delivered, so I'm only judging the food, and I have to say I'm disappointed considering the price. I ordered three types of maki, gyoza, and a coleslaw for €26. The maki were uneven, clearly pre-made, and rather bland; the shaping looked like it was done by a beginner… it wasn't bad, but unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it 😕

18/05/2026: A very good experience. The burgers are huge and excellent. The spaetzle are homemade and very good. I was a little disappointed I ordered the cordon bleu. But overall, very good.

12/04/2026: For my first time, I was a little disappointed with the service. I ordered a burger, and they didn't ask me how I wanted my steak cooked. Unfortunately, it was overcooked; I like it rare. The waitress wasn't very friendly, and she seemed unimpressed.

07/05/2026: We visited Le Pfifferbriader twice during our photo trip to Strasbourg. Once for a meal and once for wine. The food was excellent; we both ordered pork knuckle with sauerkraut. We had a rosé wine. The service was very friendly. The waiter recognized us immediately on our second visit and gave us a warm welcome. The restaurant offers good food at a good price! I can definitely recommend it!

16/03/2026: Very disappointed. I ordered takeout from this supposedly very reputable sushi restaurant, and the quality was disappointing. The €6.90 nuggets looked exactly like fast-food nuggets with just mayonnaise. The bao was truly awful, the worst I've ever had. The maki were okay, but I've had much better elsewhere. Given the restaurant's reputation, I really expected much better.

25/05/2026: Excellent pizza! The dough was superb, perfectly cooked, and the ingredients were top-quality. You can tell everything is made with care. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will gladly return!

17/01/2026: The sauerkraut was generous and delicious, and the homemade raspberry ice cream (you can really taste the fruit) and vanilla ice cream were excellent. We always receive a warm welcome and great service at this restaurant. You can also take the opportunity to do some shopping at the butcher's counter.
