18/09/2024: Sterile quiet room above gourmet restaurant The room and bathroom were very spacious, the beds were good. Our room faced the back and was therefore very quiet. The service was friendly. The breakfast was beautifully prepared. The bicycles could be safely stored in an annex. The room seemed somehow sterile, even though there was even a large picture hanging above the bed. The amount of breakfast was not appropriate for the price.

16/09/2024: The name of the restaurant "Au Gourmet" almost put us off, because other village restaurants in the Alsatian area have names like "Tonneau Fleurie" or "Restaurant A l'Agneau"... you can eat there rather easily (with a dog ) drive by for lunch on Saturday. The dining room also seems rather stiff and very quiet at first... But then we were extremely positively surprised by the high quality of the food, service and presentation at “Au Gourmet”. There was a very fairly priced, very tasty lunch menu - great recommendation for those looking for restaurants north of Strasbourg.

06/12/2024: Very nice, quiet and pleasant place with very good service. The food is hearty and good value for money.

02/12/2024: Got served a piece of rancid maki and the waitress tried to convince me that the chef had used more vinegar than i was used to. The sushi chef was inexperienced at best but definitely inept. Other than that, the rest of the food was good and they had a good selection of sake and Japanese whisky.

11/09/2024: We couldn't go to Alsace without having had this excellent matelote meal 👍 Establishment of tradition topping, white napkins +++ matelote in 2 services provided by the very professional Mistress of the house who provides perfect information on her mastered products, excellent desserts too 👍 We recommend without reservation and a visit to the 2 keys in the pretty little village of Ebermunster is a must. During your next stay in Alsace, this will be one of the essentials 👍

Please note: they only accept 25th restaurant tickets PER TABLE! The boss reminds you that it's written on the poster, so it's like that! This is the first time I've seen this... The restaurant's own decision. In short, I don't set foot there anymore.

24/01/2025: Very well located the rooms are very spacious

09/01/2025: The hotel from the outside is beautiful and is located very centrally. The spa was not working when we arrived but they compensated us, after I claimed it upon departure, with a discount. The first day the pool worked the water was freezing, then it got better. The rooms and facilities in general are old and not very well preserved, the bed is terrible, the heating, according to them for ecological reasons, does not exceed 19. The room, in the middle of winter, you can imagine how warm it is not. Breakfast is normal but you have to keep asking them to refill what is gone all the time. In short, it is not bad for a few days but it is not worth what it costs. Ps. It has a bar but you will never see anyone serving in it....

14/08/2024: Awesome little place! I came here seeking a good, artisanal coffee and they did not disappoint. I went two separate days. The first time, I had a cappuccino, which was made perfectly and with a decent espresso bean. The second time, I had a delicious V60 drip. The barista helped me choose the right roast - I was tired, so I just told her my preferred tasting notes and she knew what to make. Everyone was really friendly, and the breakfast I had with my coffee was swell. Thanks for one of the best coffee experiences I had during my three weeks in Europe!

11/08/2024: Nice restaurant, nice staff, but worst espresso ever, ever. Pure acid, unfortunately you couldn't drink it :(
