03/01/2026: The welcome wasn't great, the place was practically empty, but they were still trying to find us a table. I'd barely finished the bottle of tomato juice in my glass when the waitress grabbed the Tabasco and celery salt... Stop, let me have some, grrr! As for the food, there wasn't much choice. But otherwise, the bill was reasonable!

25/12/2025: Nothing to complain about, a fantastic buffet, a friendly and family atmosphere. The buffet isn't as extensive as chain restaurants, but the quality is definitely there. Special mention goes to the beef with onions, it's divine. The shrimp fritters have a very light batter and aren't greasy at all. The jasmine tea is real, not a pre-made tea bag like elsewhere. The buffet is regularly replenished, so it's always fresh, not just reheated food like some other places. And they even give you the famous hot towel at the end of the meal to clean your hands—a tradition lost among the competition! I highly recommend it; it's become our regular spot and canteen, and the price is great, less than €20 per person (excluding drinks).

17/02/2026: We had a wonderful time there on Sunday, February 15th. The welcome was very friendly and, above all, the meal was excellent...pork cheeks with mirabelle plums for him and salmon and spinach ravioli for her. We highly recommend this place. We will gladly return.

Both dishes were absolutely delicious, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Sylvie, the owner, gave us a warm and attentive welcome. 15/02/2026: After a 10km hike in the rain and snow, having planned a break at this hostel, we found the doors closed at 4:30 pm, even though closing time was 6 pm. What a shame! Luckily, we hadn't planned to eat there.

17/12/2025: My team and I went to this restaurant for lunch to order the daily special. The interior doesn't really reflect the quality of the food… The restrooms aren't very well maintained, and there were a few cobwebs on the paintings in the dining room. However, the food itself is very good, with generous and delicious portions. It's a good option if you want a quick and easy meal (about an hour for a starter, main course, and dessert or coffee). The staff is very warm and friendly. I highly recommend it for families and construction teams. You'll need to make a reservation because it fills up very quickly!

We waited 10 minutes just to get the menus to order an aperitif, and when we asked for them again, the owner wasn't very friendly in her response... Luckily, the flammekueche are very good. It's worth noting the absence of the Munster flammekueche on their menu...

Okay, it included an aperitif, starter, main course, and dessert, but still, 41 euros per person is unjustified. We won't be going back.

21/02/2026: It was very good. The food was excellent and the service quick, but not friendly. I would have liked more dessert choices, particularly something with chocolate. My only true complaint is that they doubled the price of my wine on the bill. Instead of charging me 3 euro a glass, which is very reasonable in Strasbourg, they charged me 6 - which is ridiculous. I suspect they did this because although I speak good French, I have an English accent. I doubt this would happen to someone with without an accent. So French people - enjoy! Foreigners - attention!
