23/09/2024: Had a wonderful experience at La Taverne de Saint-Malo! The seafood was not only incredibly fresh but also beautifully prepared, truly showcasing the best of what they have to offer. The cozy ambiance and inviting atmosphere made for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. A special thank you to Benjamin, our waiter, whose exceptional service made it memorable. He was attentive without being intrusive, offering thoughtful suggestions and ensuring everything was perfect throughout the meal. His warmth and professionalism were greatly appreciated. If you're looking for delicious food paired with excellent service, La Taverne de Saint-Malo is absolutely worth a visit!

14/09/2024: But what a shame... what a drop in quality... at all levels. I'm going to be factual. We arrive at 7:30 p.m. Aperitif! we ask for a bowl of cider sold for 20Cl. We are served a glass of around 10cL. The error is pointed out and the waitress corrects it immediately. We order the starters. A lot... A LOT of waiting... The oysters are good, but the 4 starter tapas are ordinary... for 17 euros we cringe. Around 9 p.m. finally the dishes!! That’s quite an hour and a half to get the main course. Especially when there are 5 tables to serve. Disaster for the Saint Malo pot... a dry, salty, burnt dish... it's a real failure all the same... we hide the misery with mussels that we add at the last minute... the customer at the table behind us got it more luck... he has a little sauce in his dish, and therefore no mussels on it to hide anything. The cod is good, the ratatouille cold. I want to change my baby and ask if there is a changing table. They tell me no. No problem, I change my daughter on the floor... next to a dead fly. later in the evening I go to the toilet.. SURPRISE: a changing table... filthy that said. The waitress explains to us that it’s her first day. Clearly I think she did her best. But despite his efforts and his delicate attention to the limoncellos offered at the end of the meal, we will not return. The quality has dropped dramatically… not the prices.

25/08/2024: Small bakery within a grocery store with a large selection of baked goods. Friendly and courteous service. Good price/performance ratio.

04/08/2024: I order a taco, I get a kebab. On top of that, the kebab is bad, the bread is stale, barely a bit of meat on top, the inside is almost empty.

22/09/2024: We were really made to feel very welcome and the staff took great care of us in this brasserie-style restaurant. While passing through Strasbourg, we ate traditional food and were seated next to American customers.

29/08/2024: Super friendly and inclusive bar, where everyone can find what they are looking for. The team takes great care and is very attentive. The kitchen is kick ass.

29/08/2024: The Philibar in Strasbourg is a real gem! The warm atmosphere, the varied choice of beers, and the welcoming staff make it an unmissable place. The board games available add a unique and friendly touch to the experience. A perfect place to relax with friends or as a couple. I highly recommend!

17/07/2024: Very good meal delivered with kooglof but for 13€, the quantity is scandalous! 4 small pieces of meat and a fistful of spätzle... too bad...

05/06/2024: Food is excellent. However, for the price and the fact that is semi auto service.l, the dish are very very small ( Plats should cost 8 Euros due to the size of the dish)

05/07/2024: Très joli cadre avec un aménagement intérieur moderne. Le service est (très) rapide et efficace pour ceux qui prennent leur pause-déjeuner avant de retourner travailler. Les plats sont bons et sans surprise. Une petite déception pour les sashimis de thon en portion de 8 qui étaient bien petits pour 8 euros.

02/06/2024: Süßes Restaurant. Die Leute waren sehr nett und das Restaurant ist schön gemütlich gestaltet. Da dieses auch nicht so groß ist, war es auch nicht so laut. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und war keine 10/10 aber es wurde trotzdem ein schöner Abend. :)

06/09/2024: Restaurant typique d’Alsace, avec du choix pour tous les portefeuilles et une cuisine extraordinaire qui peut se mesurer avec des étoilés. Du plat du jour à €14,- jusqu’au suggestions à €35,- il y en a pour tous les goûts. Je conseille le menu découverte à 3 plats pour €39,- qui fait plaisir de l’entrée au dessert et qui réserve des surprises inoubliables (je n’ai jamais mangé de la glace au poireau, du suprême de poulet ou un vacherin aussi délicieux !). Très belle découverte à Sélestat!

06/07/2024: We stopped there on the recommendation of the backpacker, We were disappointed, we found a hair in our dish, they replaced it without really apologizing or any commercial gesture. The choice is very limited and really expensive compared to the quantity on the plate. So I don't recommend this restaurant at all.
