20/01/2026: Honestly, perhaps the best gravlax I've ever had. It almost made me forget that we waited 15 minutes before being served (but keep in mind we were the first customers, so let's forgive them). We ate upstairs, at the "gastronomic" menu. I ordered a quenelle lyonnaise, my first time having one in a restaurant. I can say I was perhaps expecting a more generous portion, but the porcini mushrooms were delicious, and I finished the bread with the sauce! Finally, the dessert, the chestnut cream, was divine. Honestly, a great experience right near the metro. However, I think it's still a bit pricey.

The entire team was warm, professional, and attentive: from the reception staff to the valet parking attendants, including the restaurant and housekeeping staff—those unsung heroes who also deserve recognition for their often discreet but essential work. I would especially like to thank Fanny, who looked after us at the Fitzgerald Bar. Thanks to her kindness, her smile, and the quality of our conversation, we had a dinner that was as pleasant as it was enjoyable. A truly wonderful memory.

10/05/2026: Hello, regarding the women's bisexual evening on May 9, 2026, we were very disappointed to have been ignored the entire evening. Even during the aperitifs, we were isolated and seated for an hour and a half before dinner, then placed at the back of the room, and finally, only once we were all given a table. To top it all off, the owner, Marcel, didn't even bother to say good evening (too busy flirting!!!). The private "cuddle corners" were all taken. We left without having done anything sexual. We traveled from Toulon for this event. We thank you for nothing.

29/01/2026: It's more like a two-star than a three-star hotel. I was given a supposedly luxury room without being told it was a special room for disabled guests. While I have nothing against disabled people, it would have been helpful to be informed beforehand. The rooms are mediocre and often very noisy in the morning showers, with no hot water – in short, a disaster. Not to mention the noise from the upstairs neighbor until midnight, when it sounded like she was moving furniture. The reception was pleasant enough, and the hostess isn't to blame, but overall, not a great experience.

15/08/2025: A very good experience; the mussels in cream sauce were excellent, and they served mojitos as an aperitif with their own special touch. Very welcoming staff 🙂

14/08/2025: Absolutely avoid this place... following our visit, my wife suffered food poisoning from a salad; as for me, my mackerel was served with new potatoes swimming in butter, with no lemon whatsoever to accompany the fish; and my café liégeois was completely melted under the pretext that they added real coffee (perhaps it would be wise to let it cool before adding it to the ice cream).

14/05/2026: What hotel restaurant refuses to serve hotel guests? Restaurant was only 1/2 full but apparently had no open tables. Snotty guy told me to go eat at the Beer Garden instead. Great way to treat hotel guests by refusing to allow them to eat. No snacks available and room service was refused until I complained. Worst hotel on our trip so far - worst restaurant experience in years. Great way to encourage tourism for your small rural hotel. If I could give you a negative 10 I would. My $26 euro burger was a joke.

14/02/2026: Excellent meal, very professional service. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Some might find the bill a little high. In my opinion, the prices are justified given the quality of the dishes. We will gladly return next time. Best of luck!

18/04/2026: I stayed at the Maison d'Hôtes du Prieuré for a training course in Bourges, and I was very happy with my stay. Pascale was very attentive to our needs, and the rooms were very comfortable! The breakfast was excellent.

26/12/2025: After two cancellations without apologies or discounts, we finally managed to eat at the restaurant. The dining room was poorly heated, and we were cold all evening. The meal was good, but nothing special for a Michelin-starred establishment. Other restaurants in the Gien area are worth recommending; they are less expensive, better, and offer more elaborate menus.
