20/02/2026: I hadn't been back to Georges' for about thirty years, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. The dining room was as welcoming as ever, the meal delicious (scallop stew), the staff perfect—in short, we had a wonderful time.

21/03/2026: The waiters refused to take our order and were arrogant. The establishment lives up to its negative reputation, so don't be surprised.

07/03/2026: Unfriendly servers; when you order something you don't receive the correct order, so when you try to reorder, there's no way to get what you're owed.

14/12/2025: We booked a double room on Booking.com for the 2025 Douarnenez Carnival. The hotel manager called us a week before our stay to say she had booked our room on another website for someone else. We asked her for a solution, and she offered to find us a place in the hotel to put our "air mattress on the floor," which we found very kind. I asked her over the phone how we could arrange the price since she had canceled our reservation. She said we would sort it out later, so I didn't press the issue. Upon arrival, she showed us to the "gym," which you can see in the Google photos, with a glass door. She offered us the use of the sauna shower, which also had a glass door opening onto the hallway. She never mentioned the price; we assumed we would pay her a small fee for the favor. When it came time to leave and pay, listen to this: this woman asked us to pay 80 euros, the price of a room! We paid an additional 26 euros for breakfast, which included stale bread. We politely told her that this was too much to pay for sleeping in a gym, especially since we had brought our own sleeping bag and air mattress. She got angry and told us we had to "pay for the electricity." What a joke. In short, we find it outrageous that we were charged 106 euros to sleep on our air mattress with our sleeping bag in the gym.

10/10/2025: A parenthesis out of time, this place is extraordinary, it resonates with a past life that was rich and elegant. Today the hotel needs a little freshening up, the rooms are beautiful and spacious, the view of the ocean is magnificent, the gourmet breakfast in a dining room facing the ocean is captivating, homemade cakes, jams too, the hostess of the place welcomes with great kindness and a lot of elegance. There you have it, lots of little things need to be reviewed, but in a large building this is not surprising.

11/01/2026: A wonderful surprise! There were eight of us, no reservation, and we were accommodated. The welcome was very friendly, the food was sophisticated and delicious (the bull stew was original and excellent), and the establishment offers as many local products and drinks as possible. The manager, Bius, gave excellent advice on wine pairings. We really appreciated the decor; in short, we had a very pleasant time! Thank you!

21/01/2026: A wonderful evening spent with colleagues at this restaurant, even though we weren't hotel guests. The service was excellent and tailored to our needs, we enjoyed pleasant conversations with the management and staff, and the food was superb! Don't hesitate! 👌

20/12/2025: I was staying overnight, so I visited with three colleagues. The service was excellent and the food was of a high standard. However, there were some items on the menu that weren't available. Looking back, it seems that the menu is changed regularly, so the information on the current menu is unlikely to be valid in the future. However, I feel that the (vegetable) curry might not be appealing enough to people in Japan, where curry is a daily staple, or in India, where curry originated.

03/10/2025: This place is currently closed due to a fire burning down the building on the 26th September. I don't forsee this reopening soon

19/09/2025: The food was mediocre, not quite warm. A "mistake" at checkout: I overpaid by 20 euros. The receipt wasn't included. After asking, I got my money back.

11/06/2025: It's a shame the waitress wasn't friendly. The restaurant is definitely showing its age. They didn't offer any white or red martinis as an aperitif. That's a pity, because the food itself is excellent.

29/05/2025: Great time with the family. After a 4-hour drive. A nice change of scenery.

02/02/2026: This camper site isn't worthy of its name. The restrooms shouldn't even be called restrooms. Absolutely disgustingly filthy. Unusable; I wouldn't even let my horse stay there. It's teeming with stray cats.
