03/08/2026: I really loved the interior and the service. Our waiter noticed that our table was wobbling and fixed it right away without us even asking. We ordered escargots and tried them for the first time — the waiter showed us how to use the utensils and was very kind. The oysters were juicy and delicious, and the tartare had a subtle apple note — unusual, tasty, and interesting. The chicken and liver were fine. Overall, it’s a very atmospheric restaurant with beautiful décor and excellent service.

03/06/2026: Passing through Cayeux for a short relaxing break after our wedding, we discovered the kiosk, and what a pleasant surprise! Everything was good and reasonably priced, but the scallop casserole was simply divine! I've never eaten anything so delicious in a restaurant; I finished every last drop. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

We discovered this place somewhat by chance, but as they say, they do things right: a warm welcome, a very high-quality menu, and the tuna with truffled polenta was simply wonderful. A slight disappointment with the starter: no heirloom tomatoes, only cherry tomatoes, and it lacked seasoning and pesto. However, the main course and dessert made us forget all about it. 26/06/2026: There are nights when online reviews can easily lead you to make the wrong choice, and that's exactly what was about to happen with Le Plein Mer. Reading around, we were a little worried about the rumors about long waits, especially since we hadn't been able to book: the restaurant doesn't have a website, and the alternative would have been to contact them via Facebook, but since we don't speak the language, the idea of ​​calling made us quite uneasy. So we decided to give it a try, walking past, with the idea that if there was a long line, we could simply book in person for the next day. But instead, we were completely surprised: the place was completely empty. No one was there, no one waiting. At that point, our doubts were overturned, and I admit we were quite hesitant about whether to sit down or not. The person who convinced us was the young man in the dining room, extremely kind and with truly magnetic eyes. We chose one of the oyster menus, but the inside of the restaurant turned out to be a scorching furnace, forcing us to settle for the tables outside. The oysters arrived and were undoubtedly good and fresh, but unfortunately they were affected by the ambient temperature and were a bit warm, not exactly ideal for seafood. The wine suffered the same fate: a good product, but served decidedly too hot. To finish, we were hoping for a sweet note, but instead we were in for a final disappointment, as they unfortunately don't have dessert on the menu. A somewhat uneven experience, saved in extremis by the raw ingredients and the courtesy of the staff.

24/06/2026: An oasis in Paris. A place where you can eat nothing but oysters, without any pretensions. I've been a couple of times and it's always fantastic. Don't expect luxury or anything fancy, but that's what makes it so pleasant. The best thing to do is sit at one of the outdoor tables if the weather is nice. A dozen oysters costs around €20 (it can vary depending on the size you order). The wine is also good and very reasonably priced. I don't know why the place isn't more crowded. Keep it up!

15/05/2026: A warm welcome and inexpensive cocktails. For starters, a "revisited" cordon bleu, I felt like I'd eaten a completely ordinary cordon bleu, and I'm still looking for the promised smoked ham. As for the main course, the unwashed lettuce leaf was very crunchy, and the burrito with pork knuckle wasn't actually knuckle and simply wasn't good. The servers (the sommelier and his colleague who served aperitifs) were very good. There was a major problem with the kitchen.

29/07/2026: It has been a long time i haven’t been treated this badly by a restaurant staff. Not one but two waiters were rude and very snappy at me. It is a shame as the food is good. Their attitude is horrible, made me feel unwelcome. I hope they read it and maybe make a bit more of an effort with clients.
