12/09/2026: We went on a Saturday evening with my husband and daughter. The waitress was pleasant, but the food was... awful! The fries were too cold, the meat was rare instead of medium-rare... we sent it back to the kitchen twice! In short, it's nowhere near the standard of Entrecôte in terms of food! Never again!

06/09/2026: No complaints about the service, the staff, or the food – it's good. Just one drawback: the music inside is far too loud. As a result, people talk very loudly, even though the Bistrot Régent attracts a very diverse clientele of all ages. This excessive noise eventually creates a tiring din, making it feel like a school cafeteria, which is a shame.

31/08/2026: Incredible dining experience for lunch, with amazing service, food, ambiance and wine list. We did the three course lunch menu, which also was accompanied by a set of starters from the chef and sweets to close out this magical afternoon. The staff was on point, attentive and very well organized throughout our dining experience. Highly recommended!

22/05/2026: The standout meal of a Bordeaux trip that included several more decorated kitchens. Chef Thibaut Gamba's style is delicate and seasonal — the white asparagus with morels and nasturtium read like a thesis on what Gironde produce can do in May, and the lamb course (rare, layered, with a sabayon and broad beans) was the kind of plate where each element earned its place. The amuse-bouche and pre-dessert were equally considered — no filler, no flourish for its own sake. Service was precise without theatre, attentive without hovering. The room — wisteria pergola outside, the plush dining room inside the 1848 building — is the kind of setting other Saint-Émilion restaurants are trying to imitate. We came with our own bottles and the team accommodated graciously, glassware and pacing handled as if it were their own list. One star feels underrated - this is where you want to eat.

20/08/2026: We arrived 45 minutes before closing time, as a family with young children. We were visiting the area and were very hungry. We tried to enter the shop, but the waiter waved us away, before several people in the shop, who seemed to know him, started laughing at us. We were refused service. We returned 5 minutes later and the same man was serving other customers. It's simply outrageous! You discriminated against us, and you know it perfectly well! Shame on you and your pizzeria.

07/08/2026: I highly recommend this pizzeria. The duck breast and kebab were absolutely delicious, the crust was incredibly thin, and the toppings were very generous. The owner was funny, always smiling, and very kind. The service was on time, even a little early, which wasn't a problem when you're in a hurry. Personally, if I could buy a pizza every day, I would without hesitation. If you're looking for a pizzeria, look no further, you've found it.

14/08/2026: A warm welcome; the starter was devoured, sauce and all. The main course was delicious and perfectly portioned. And finally, a Pavlova to discover for dessert. The bill practically swallowed up for such a high-quality experience—one that we'll definitely be back. Warm and friendly, this restaurant should be a must-visit.

05/08/2026: The storefront is unassuming, but the interior is beautiful and perfectly complements the food served on the plate. I highly recommend the pistachio éclair, which is as beautiful as it is delicious.

23/08/2026: A warm welcome, efficient service, and ultra-fresh products. We go there very regularly or order takeout depending on the occasion. For a family event, we were able to reserve the entire venue for a group of 50 people. Everything was perfectly managed by the team, who always had a smile on their face. All of our guests were delighted 😊 Always a pleasure!

15/08/2026: Excellent pizzas, and a special mention to the owner who refunded us for one pizza because he thought it was undercooked. Frankly, I was embarrassed, but he was very persuasive, and we left with the pizza and our money back! The pizza was perfectly edible, but above all, I found the gesture very classy and so rare. Well done!

24/07/2026: The pizzas are excellent, the dough is perfect, a real bread dough like the Italians know how to make. The owner is very friendly and efficient. A very good place.

27/08/2026: A wonderful discovery with my friends. My husband had told me about this place and I wasn't disappointed. Attentive and professional staff, a truly exceptional cod dish! Big shout-out to Grandma (I never order fish), an amazing tapenade, a charming place. I highly recommend it.

27/09/2026: A very traditional small restaurant in southwestern France. The ambiance is great, and the food is good, except the lamprey wasn't very tasty. The service, however, was extremely slow and unprofessional.

27/09/2026: We booked for a birthday celebration. We were greeted with a smile, and the dinner was excellent and sophisticated. An exceptional place in Le Haillan, I highly recommend it.
