18/07/2026: Had a lovely time sitting on the terrace at the foot of the Pont de Pierre at Wasabi Café. Traditional Japanese food such as sushi, sashimi, and poke bowls. Very tasty and nice, efficient service!

11/07/2026: The sushi was incredibly high quality; it's a pleasure to finally taste flavorful fish! The waitress was extremely kind; she took my celiac disease into account and gave me a gluten-free soy sauce. She assured me that every dish was suitable for me.

20/07/2026: Arrived by truck. First of all, thank you for existing and allowing us to wash and eat. Restrooms available 24/7. The waitress was very welcoming (I don't know her name, sorry, you'll recognize her by her tattoos). She was very kind and courageous, in any case. The place is simply magical; we love the concerts and the superb atmosphere. Regarding the meal, the buffet is a bit limited, especially in terms of choice. I ordered braised ham, fries, and salad. The salad was from a pre-made bag. Half of the fries were overcooked and too hard for me. The chocolate brownie was either stale or had gotten too hot. A good place nonetheless; I'll go back to see how things have improved. Best of luck to you and your team.

07/07/2026: No air conditioning and only two fans for our group. Not a single window was open to let in any fresh air; it was cooler outside in the sun. Our group returned, and it was still hot inside. I noticed there were two small fans for nearly fifty people. The previous week, I had only seen one, pointed at the group leader and the bus driver. On the first visit, the food was barely passable; the shepherd's pie had more carrots than meat. It was typical coach-group fare: quick, but lacking in quality. The rosé and red wines were at room temperature—a high temperature, considering how hot the room was.

14/08/2026: Never disappointed with this establishment. The staff is incredibly attentive. The terrace was nearly empty this evening, with a lovely, gentle breeze. We enjoyed a cocktail, a generous and delicious Landes salad, and shared profiteroles! A delightful evening. I highly recommend it.

22/05/2026: The standout meal of a Bordeaux trip that included several more decorated kitchens. Chef Thibaut Gamba's style is delicate and seasonal — the white asparagus with morels and nasturtium read like a thesis on what Gironde produce can do in May, and the lamb course (rare, layered, with a sabayon and broad beans) was the kind of plate where each element earned its place. The amuse-bouche and pre-dessert were equally considered — no filler, no flourish for its own sake. Service was precise without theatre, attentive without hovering. The room — wisteria pergola outside, the plush dining room inside the 1848 building — is the kind of setting other Saint-Émilion restaurants are trying to imitate. We came with our own bottles and the team accommodated graciously, glassware and pacing handled as if it were their own list. One star feels underrated - this is where you want to eat.

20/05/2026: Logis de la Cadène was one of the most unforgettable dining experiences of our entire wedding week in France. The restaurant manages to do something incredibly special — honoring the soul and tradition of Saint-Émilion while carrying an understated modern energy that reminded me of some of the best dining experiences in New York. The food was elegant, thoughtful, and beautifully executed without ever trying too hard. Every detail — from the pacing of the meal to the warmth of the service — felt intentional and deeply hospitable. Quiet luxury in the truest sense. In a region filled with famous restaurants, this was the place we left genuinely excited about. A hidden gem that deserves to be talked about far more.

22/07/2026: We ordered the daily special – Caesar salad – for €18.50. Based on the restaurant's reviews, we were expecting a nice, high-quality salad. We were very disappointed to find that the chicken on our salad was actually fried chicken (like McDonald's nuggets), and to top it off, we were given a measly spoonful of lettuce. All of this was dressed with what looked like a pre-packaged vinaigrette. We can't speak for the entire menu, but this dish was a major letdown.

21/07/2026: All the dishes were very delicious. There is a good variety of dishes to share which make the dinning experience much more special. We got to try many distinct dishes such as intestine, octopus, frog legs. The main courses with duck confit and the duck trio were exceptional. The meat was extremely tender with lots of flavors.
