12/06/2026: The lady was lovely, the place was peaceful, the waiter was adorable, the pastries were delicious, and the chai latte was perfect 😃 This is my second time there; last time for lunch, this time for afternoon tea. I'll be back!
21/05/2026: My go-to spot for a cozy moment for years. A lovely place for a relaxing break or a delicious treat. I'm torn between wanting to recommend this place and wanting to keep it secret so I can always find a spot :)

27/04/2026: A nice brasserie with a large terrace where we had lunch. The Nordic waffle was very good and plentiful. The only slight drawback was the lack of cake, peanuts, or anything else to accompany our aperitif, which was a shame. We had a pleasant time. Good value for money.
27/04/2026: It was a nice restaurant, the meat was great. The duck fois gras was splendid. However the deserts were tasteless. I suggest to try the crème brûlée.

24/04/2026: The owners gave us a warm welcome, the menu and daily special are displayed on a chalkboard, and the service is quick and efficient. The variety, quality, and quantity of the food are all excellent; I had a delicious bluefin tuna tataki that was beautifully prepared and presented, and the gourmet coffee was equally impressive. The terrace is pleasant and well laid out. The prices are reasonable. In short, Carpe Diem is well worth a visit.

The beef skewer was overcooked.
I'd been here before and hadn't had this disappointment. Also, check your flyer because your prices are different on the menu; the flyer must be from last year.
19/05/2026: Best couscous in the region. Never disappointed. Excellent grilled meats, delicious pastries, and a consistently warm welcome. Everything you could want is there, mint tea included...

05/06/2026: Dependable good quality food, was there 4 or 5 times over the past two years. On the port - which is due to the tides 2 times a day a mud pit for some hours (so not strictly romantic...) but a good place to go. Service ok, could be a bit more charming.

15/05/2026: The welcome was very poor. I was disappointed by the owner with the red cap and white goatee, from whom I had to ask for change. The wait was quite long. The prices were incorrectly indicated on the menu, and the owner was dishonest, blaming us. Luckily, we were in a good mood.

18/05/2026: Love the vibe here! Fun decor, indie tunes, right up my street. We came because it's been hard to find a plain omelette in Bordeaux. Food was great. The woman at the next table had pizza, which looked excellent. Deserves to be busy, even on a wet Monday lunchtime.
