12/09/2024: Nothing special. The seats are very narrow and small. Service not particularly friendly. You actually feel like you're in a typical tourist restaurant. Food was mediocre. Potato gratin loveless and undercooked. Meat portion small. Tiramisu very small and watery, way too much cocoa and expensive

17/09/2024: Order placed at 10am by Deliveroo. 1 p.m. no news, I call the restaurant to find out where my order is, the man on the phone tells me that he doesn't have an order and that he doesn't have time to take care of it and hangs up on me... I don't know how it happens in the restaurant, but clearly, such service should be avoided!!

I ordered the chicken phanaeng this evening, which was very good. But to my greatest surprise without accompaniment. I actually bought the dish for 17.9 euros to just receive chicken. I find this really excessive and disrespectful. I would recommend for cooking, being completely objective, but clearly not for the commercial mind.
The rating of 2 is for the cooks, you will excuse me I don't like doing that but being in the catering profession I find it really limiting.

09/09/2024: Exquisite food, fresh and delicious, a good atmosphere in a spacious restaurant and friendly and polite staff who were very helpful despite our lack of french or German. The veal, scallops and wine was all in particular fantastic, thanks again!

Prix dans l’air du temps actuellement.
On en a quand même pour son argent, tant en qualité qu’en quantité.
Petit amuse bouche toujours très apprécier.
L’entrée du foie gras manque un confit d’oignon qui accompagnerait qui permettrait de donner plus de profondeur aux saveurs encore.
Le plat filet de taureau excellent et cuisson Parfaite.
Dommage que la carte du moment n’est pas mise régulièrement sur le site internet/facebook pour permettre de voir à l’avance la carte.

17/09/2024: Large castle/castle ruins in the middle of the forest. Very impressive appearance. Very nicely restored and presented. Invites you to explore everything and transport yourself to the time when the castle was actively alive in the Middle Ages. Very friendly crew. Definitely worth seeing. Check the opening times. Parking space available.

I highly recommend you!
13/08/2024: I think this is a restaurant more for regulars than for people passing through. We felt a bit like we were disturbing.
No menu (it's not possible to know the price of drinks) just a slate with 2 or 3 dishes, I don't know anymore.

07/09/2024: Ate here last night. Was busy but we were lucky and got a table. Nice staff, and we got our drinks quickly. Delicious bruchetta as an appetizer and then pizza. Really good quality and very reasonable prices. The wine is relatively expensive. Recommended this restaurant!

01/10/2024: Nous étions un groupe d’une vingtaine de septuagénaires pour un séjour en Alsace. C’est après la visite guidée du haut Koenisbourg que nous avons rejoint cette auberge à 10mn du château. Un grand parking, Une maison aux balcons richement fleuris , décor type chalet, et un chaleureux accueil. Tous ont apprécié le repas: rosace de thon/ melon, bœuf Angus , munster et tartelette glace menthe et fruits rouges. Je recommande sans retenue !
17/09/2024: Dîner excellent du début à la fin. L’entrée, le plat et le dessert étaient tous très joliment présentés et avec beaucoup de goût. Les sauces étaient à tomber par terre !
Franchement cela valait tout à fait le prix payé. Je recommande à 100%. Les serveuses étaient courtoises et sympathiques.
Je recommande de réserver à l’avance car même s’il y a beaucoup de tables c’est très prisé.

17/09/2024: Wow, we were thrilled with this kitchen. We had paella (and a guilty conscience because there were such great other dishes that our neighbors had) which deserved its name and was packed with a wealth of ingredients (shrimp, mussels, pulp, chicken, hare and fish) sooo delicious! As a starter we had mussels with a wonderful sauce and chanterelles in a very, very tasty sauce made from white bread and the matching wine - see picture. Every euro we paid last night was worth the lovingly prepared return!! Thank you for this great dinner! Not forgetting a dog-friendly restaurant😃

07/09/2024: Une terrasse très agréable avec son bassin rafraîchissant, un service impeccable avec le sourire, et ces linguine du chef, quel régal ! Mon mari a également beaucoup aimé son escalope au gorgonzola. Une agréable soirée et une très bonne surprise.
