16/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant deserves to be better known. Beautiful decor, a children's playroom with foosball, etc. A very warm welcome, amuse-bouches, refined and generous dishes at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

14/06/2026: A quaint hidden gem off the busy main road and down a small street is where you would find this little gem. The atmosphere was great the ambiance was just what you could expect from a French restaurant. The food was delightful and staff was friendly and inviting. They have 3 different prefix menu options which give you great options and a special board too. Our meal was so fresh and rewarding not what I was expecting to get but thoroughly enjoyable. We highly recommend you trying and eating here if you can. Chef came out at end of meal and introduced himself and was genuinely inviting and interested in your opinion of food.

06/06/2026: An unexpected dessert that delighted our eyes: asparagus, strawberry, and rhubarb soup with white chocolate. The chef's creativity deserves high praise, as does the charm of the place, the quality and simplicity of the service, and the excellent, reasonably priced wine list.

03/07/2026: A must-visit spot near Lake Kruth. The best inn for miles around. The dishes are simple yet sophisticated. The seasoning, the flavor of the meat and vegetables are exceptional. Trying the presskopf (pig's head pâté) is a real treat. And don't forget the homemade iced tea... I thank the owner for creating such an exceptional place!

28/06/2026: Currently in November, it's peak season for pork...book ahead because it's packed! Or, on certain dates, they offer a suckling pig! Fantastic! Plus, the menu now includes delicious sieskass (first milk with sugar and just the right amount of kirsch...). A very good place!

16/05/2026: A warm welcome, discreet and efficient service. A limited menu of dishes and wine, at reasonable prices. The seasoning of the scallop carpaccio was perfectly balanced. However, the beef tataki was far too overcooked. A real disappointment.

Comments from 2023 are below. Lunch menu: excellent value for money, consistently surprising menus, and professional yet friendly service. We go there regularly and are never disappointed. Bravo for your inventiveness! The wine tasting evenings with the winemaker are a real pleasure, full of wonderful discoveries.

07/04/2026: €45 per person for 3 people (€133.60 in March 2026). Good food, beautiful dining room with elaborate winstub-style decor, professional, warm, and attentive service from Matthieu. Comfortable chairs/benches. Large bar separating two rooms. Clean restrooms. Good dinner. The ambiance and service overshadow the food alone. 2 x Alsatian set menus (€42) (++) Casserole of 6 snails. Snails cooked properly in garlic butter. Good dish as expected. The waiter stated that the snails came from the Vosges Moselle region. +) Mixed salad with foie gras, raw vegetables, 1 slice of cured ham, 2 1/2 toasted slices, thin slice of foie gras. Quite good dish, nothing extraordinary. (++) Sauerkraut with 5 garnishes. Good dish. The acidity of the cabbage was well-balanced. The meats were undoubtedly steamed. That said, I prefer pork roasted until caramelized. (+++) Roasted ham hock with Munster cheese. It needed a little more Munster sauce. We had to ask for more. A very good dish, even if the meat lacked a bit of tenderness and caramelization. (-) Slices of Vacherin glacé (x2). No flavor whatsoever. Ice creams with very bland flavors. A very thin layer of meringue. Completely uninteresting. Seeing my disappointment, the waiter offered me a small slice of farmhouse Munster cheese, which was very good with some nice bread. À la carte: (+) Pan of gratinéed spaetzle with Munster sauce (€22). Served with a small salad. A fairly good dish, a little stingy with the sauce. (++) Blueberry tart (€7.50). A good tart, not too sweet. 2 glasses of Pinot Gris (2 x €5.50); ​​1 Coca-Cola Zero (€3.70); 1 tea (€2.90); 1 espresso (€2.50)
