30/11/2025: Pleasant surroundings, the decor is Alsatian-style, giving the impression of being at the Pulversheim open-air museum. The service was impeccable. The prices are quite high, as is typical of establishments aiming for a certain level of prestige. This rediscovery has finally reconciled us with the restaurant and its cuisine. Thank you to the entire team at Le Vieux Pressoir.

The breadsticks were stale, the dishes tasteless, the snail and porcini mushroom tartlet (canned?), the overcooked poultry, and the duck tartare, while well-prepared, was accompanied by a multitude of incomprehensible accompaniments—an incomprehensible combination. The chef must not be on a Monday. This quality at this price is exorbitant.

29/11/2025: We discovered this wonderful place thanks to the Passe-Gourmand guide. The restaurant's entrance alone makes you want to explore the interior. We received a warm welcome from the owner, who let us choose our table. The setting is lovely, with carpeted floors and tastefully chosen decorations and furnishings. Cloth tablecloths and napkins were provided. All the dishes we chose were delicious. For starters, we had foie gras and pumpkin soup with truffle oil. Then came the original and delicious Pretzel Burger. The beef fillet was incredibly tender. I really appreciated that each dish was served piping hot, especially since I'm a slow eater 😅 To finish, the fruit panna cotta and vanilla crème brûlée were delicious! The coffee was also very good. We thoroughly enjoyed the welcome, the ambiance, and the food. I highly recommend this place. We'll be back to try the vol-au-vent with morels. Outside, there's a lovely terrace for sunny days. Thank you for this enjoyable time!

04/01/2026: We had tarte flambée and reblochon fondue. Very good! Friendly atmosphere. The servers are lovely! It's a small restaurant, so it's best to make a reservation. Only downside: rather expensive. €100 for 2 adults and 1 child, including drinks (no wine), a main course, and 2 desserts.

13/12/2025: We ordered appetizers: onion rings, mozzarella, fries, and wings. Everything arrived cold, making them unpleasant to eat. These dishes are meant to be served hot. The burger also had a distinctly bitter taste. It later became clear that the bacon had a black coating from previously burned food. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined.

15/01/2026: Excellent experience at Hoto. Passing through Mulhouse, I was looking for a quick bite. I definitely don't regret going to Hoto. Very friendly welcome, a wide selection of dishes, and excellent food. I'll be back on my next trip to Mulhouse.
