Always as good as usual.
You can find better in Paris, but Sushi Shop's consistency means I come back very regularly.
Plus, it's open all afternoon. That's super convenient for ordering takeout as a new parent.

Original Japanese dishes unlike anything we've ever seen before!

12/06/2026: The price-quality ratio is okay, but it's not the best Japanese restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food is average, maybe it's a matter of taste. The ramen is better than the curry rice, and the atmosphere is nice, but nothing special.

I do miss eating some of the fish I used to eat when I was little, at other Japanese restaurants.
My top 5 fish dishes are tuna, salmon, mackerel, cod, and octopus or cuttlefish on a traditional plate.
Their Unagi (Japanese salad) is amazing.
Good service in the restaurant or at home.
Sometimes the owner even comes to your house in person. :)
In short, it creates a real sense of community in the neighborhood.
No complaints about the quality.
I highly recommend it.

Also, the matcha sushi wasn't really green like in the picture; the photo is misleading. I thought it was a true matcha green, just a little powder on top.
The sushi wasn't very fresh.

10/06/2026: I highly recommend it: we received a very warm welcome and enjoyed an absolutely delicious tasting platter while admiring the view of the port. Excellent place!
15/05/2026: Excellent experience! We shared a Cøti platter for two, it was impeccably fresh and beautifully presented. The coconut pearls and mochi ice cream for dessert were perfect.
The manager is super friendly, full of jokes and great advice. A warm welcome from start to finish. We were delighted!

17/05/2026: The unfriendly welcome and lack of courtesy from the staff, especially the waitresses, really spoil the experience. The reception was cold. Never a smile. The service was mediocre, despite the decent food. One young waitress, in particular, sighed ostentatiously with weariness at every turn, instead of responding normally to customers. Don't arrive 30 minutes before closing time, as you're very likely to be turned away, as I was, as if they were already closed! If you're already seated, the waiters and waitresses don't finish their service by asking if you'd like coffee or dessert 30 minutes before closing, as if they were already closed! A day will come when you'll truly be closed, for lack of customers. Are you in such a hurry to file for bankruptcy and lay off your employees, or to be laid off yourself, if you're an employee? Your business sense and customer service are deplorable. No matter what you do, whether you come twice a week with twelve people or only once every ten years, whether you're a regular customer or just passing through, you really get the feeling you're bothering them. What a shame to run a business like this and then complain, because you're not growing your small business or building customer loyalty! The value for money is very average. If you want to have a pleasant and relaxing time, I don't recommend it.
30/04/2026: We just returned from a meal with a friend at this restaurant. The food was very good, thankfully, but it redeemed the friendliness of the waitress and staff, which was abysmal. A complete lack of manners and professionalism.
During the meal, we could hear the waitress yelling from the kitchen; a smile was clearly not part of the service. To top it all off, after paying, common sense dictated that we say goodbye. We repeated it once, twice, three times, even seven times, before the customer behind us finally responded. I find that outrageous! When there are only five customers in a restaurant one evening with food of this caliber, serious questions need to be asked. It's a culinary delight, but utterly disgusting to witness the lack of respect shown by the staff!

08/06/2026: I ordered at 11 am, but it's past 1 pm and still nothing, so I'm going back to work on an empty stomach 🤡 Apparently, the order has just been prepared and sent out for delivery. The driver has other stops to make, so I'll have to keep an eye on it during a meeting. Great, haha.
Two hours to assemble a bo-bun? I can't imagine the organization behind it... but I can well imagine the spring rolls will arrive cold and the rest will be mushy.
I'll keep you posted around 5 pm when I have time to eat it. It looks delicious, doesn't it?

25/04/2026: We order from this restaurant at least once a month, and unfortunately, after several years without any problems, we woke up sick the next morning after eating sushi, California rolls, and salmon rolls. It might have been a problem with the rice… We were very disappointed and won't be going back.

17/06/2026: My partner and I ordered the "Sushi Fan" platter and we thoroughly enjoyed it. What a pleasure to eat such high-quality sushi! We'll definitely be back!
