31/07/2026: The manager, who is also the waiter and cook, is very pleasant and polite. The food is absolutely delicious; I highly recommend the tempura—it practically melts in your mouth. The menu is varied, and the website might be helpful for any information. The wait time was reasonable, even though only one person was handling everything. The only minor drawback is the occasional lack of music, which can be a bit quiet when you're dining alone.

27/07/2026: A good place for Japanese and other cuisines. Some dishes are very tasty, others are just a little lacking... Spring rolls, for example, are definitely not their strong point, but the sushi is excellent. The decor is beautiful and the place is quite chic. I recommend it :)

02/08/2026: A great Japanese restaurant! I went with a friend who's deeply immersed in Japanese culture and had just returned from a month-long road trip in Japan. She happily rediscovered the flavors of her trip, especially the miso ramen (according to her, the best miso she'd tasted in France). The staff is attentive. For me, it was a great find. However, be warned, it's very hot and humid inside (we went in the middle of summer), which somewhat spoiled the experience. The air conditioning is ineffective... In fact, it could use a little updating. The outdoor tables, with their limited seating, are more recommended. I'm deducting one star for these reasons.

24/04/2026: Always top-notch! I do miss eating some of the fish I used to eat when I was little, at other Japanese restaurants. My top 5 fish dishes are tuna, salmon, mackerel, cod, and octopus or cuttlefish on a traditional plate. Their Unagi (Japanese salad) is amazing. Good service in the restaurant or at home. Sometimes the owner even comes to your house in person. :) In short, it creates a real sense of community in the neighborhood. No complaints about the quality. I highly recommend it.

30/03/2026: For an order over 50 euros, you barely put two spoonfuls of rice in the bowls, while all the other Japanese restaurants fill them to the brim. Are you cutting corners on the rice? It's not the most expensive part. This is outrageous; I won't be ordering from you again.

25/07/2026: Japanese cuisine prepared by a Japanese chef. Flavors of Japan rediscovered in the ginger pork bento. Ramen with a delicate tonkotsu broth, but unfortunately without chachu! A drawback: few toppings and noodles resembling spaghetti. Another traditional dish to try: Japanese curry.

20/06/2026: A superb find! While visiting La Rochelle, we discovered this little Japanese restaurant and were delighted! The food is truly delicious, and the fish is fresh. I had sashimi and my wife had skewers. The food was cooked to order and was excellent. Furthermore, the welcome was very warm; the owners are exceptionally kind. Thank you for this wonderful meal!

24/07/2026: I had lunch here in July, and the service was very swift to bring my drink, gyozas, soup and salad. A well prepared mixed surachi followed - very good value. It’s close to place d’Italie, but is quieter than a closer to the big roundabout. I recommend it!

18/07/2026: A truly beautiful place, where you can enjoy Japanese cuisine and discover its many dishes, and the service is perfect. A young waiter named Austin accompanied me throughout the meal. A wonderful experience.
