10/10/2025: A very regular Uber Eats customer, I've been ordering from this restaurant once a week for two years now, with the N4 menu + egg and truffle rice + 6 cheese sticks.
Congratulations to the staff and the manager for maintaining such consistency at this establishment, which is my favorite. The food is really good!
I deleted my previous review from 7 months ago because they took into account my various criticisms, which were as follows:
- Sometimes too little "orange" sauce with the sticks
-> Adding three with the new sauce format always leaves one untouched; it doesn't seem necessary to me, and it's a loss for you.
- Sometimes I didn't even have the sauces
-> I've never had this problem again.
In short, a very good place and experience for me.

24/01/2025: January 24, 2025 we were surprised to see a beautiful and new buffet with much more choice and well presented. After having looked around the buffet I noticed that the fresh products are kept on a cold plate in cutting boards which prevents the cold from penetrating. The products are not fresh. My friend had sushi 🍣 I said be careful the fish on the rice and dry and 1 hour later in the toilet vomiting food poisoning. I took hot and well everything is lukewarm everything must be over 63° nothing is within the norms. Hygiene process needs to be reviewed and you have lost 2 customers. I won't come back again.
13/01/2025: Cold dish, you have to jump directly on the dishes that arrive hot otherwise it cools very quickly

28/10/2024: I discovered this restaurant today; he is excellent. The service is very fast and the manager is super nice. The quality of the cuisine is there at affordable prices. I recommend 100%!
23/09/2024: The miso soup is great! Extra crunchy coleslaw.
The tuna was cooked just right.
The restaurant is clean, the music is not too loud, and so is the room.
The toilets are old but clean.
The waitress is very polite, courteous and welcoming.

04/09/2024: I should refrain from giving my opinion but my conscience requires me otherwise.
Friday the 30th, my wife and I decided to have a Japanese dinner at You Sushi where we had never been disappointed.
It is 8 p.m., the manager (whom I had never seen before) welcomes us and comes to take the order for aperitifs which she brings to us a few minutes later and asks us if we are ready to order.
I order 2 Miso soups, a seaweed salad, 2 sashimi, answer:
“There are no more.”
“In that case we’ll have tuna ceviche.” “There aren’t any left either, we were robbed with the big fire sale.”
I tell her that she should have informed us before we sat down and I cancel the order, telling her: "we will finish our drinks and go to dinner elsewhere".
At the checkout and very annoyed by this situation, I asked her if she would offer us the glass of red wine and the can of mineral water for her "failure".
She responds to me grumbling: “why would I do that”?
I told him it didn't matter, I would pay for the drinks and write a comment on the web.
She replies irritated: “It’s okay, leave, I won’t take it from you”.
A commercial gesture must be made with a smile and in good faith, which was not the case.
As the sale is not a last minute event, I question her abilities as a manager and stock manager.
This is why I wanted to warn the public to ask the reception what is not on the menu before sitting down at the table.
The aggressive response from the manager/owner (DS I suppose) encourages me to modify my review and add the following, but I won't waste too much time.
In fact, the person seems to only accept good reviews and her professional conscience as a good businesswoman makes me smile.
she should know that criticism can be constructive and promote improvement.
If no one tells her she has bad breath; she would probably never know.
In any case; In her place I would have tried to contact her, apologize to her and invite her to come back with special mention to the staff but her response has the completely opposite effect.
We, who used to go there quite often because I am fond of this food, will never go back there again but that doesn't matter; there are plenty of other pigeons.

08/12/2025: We had booked a table for two for a birthday, but the establishment doesn't serve alcohol. Anyway, we probably wouldn't have stayed; there was nobody in the restaurant, and every time we drive by, it's always empty. Not to mention the delivery motorcycles driving around even though the restaurant is closed. In short, bizarre.

31/08/2024: I went there with my family after our visit to the Mer de Glace, as it was super close to the train station. The food was outstanding, real quality. We ordered the vegetable curry rice and ramen. For our kids the ramen for kids was fantastic as well. The mochi were great too! Totally recommended

25/11/2025: I can confirm that children often speak the truth: "Mom, there aren't enough stars to rate this restaurant!" It's true. I've been a regular at this restaurant for several years now, and I'm still absolutely delighted. It's become a ritual to come and spend quality time there with my children. The staff always welcome us with a warm smile, prepare our table with special care to suit our preferences, create fresh and delicious dishes, then help the children serve themselves at the buffet and laugh with them. Thank you to the staff of this restaurant for being so generous and attentive. A little bit of sweetness in this dreary world. I highly recommend a wonderful experience at Asian World in Lisieux, and bon appétit! 🙏🏼
11/11/2025: The waitress was haughty and treated us like idiots with her "actually..." The meal was a bit bland, but to each their own... the owners were pleasant.

23/08/2024: A customer since the beginning, it has unfortunately been twice that I have found that the quality is declining.
The rice is bland and overcooked, the miso soup is bland and almost empty.
The products are fresh.
Also pay attention to the prices which have almost doubled in a few years (we had it for 50 euros 3 or 4 years ago per order, now it is almost 90 euros.) for a quality that is declining.
We hope the quality will return.

22/09/2024: Very good fresh Maki hot skewer apart from the beef which was more than hot not to say a bit burnt but it happens on the other hand takeaway system to improve in terms of efficiency because give a range of 15-25 minutes for at ultimately having it for longer is not great for someone who comes from far away
But despite everything I highly recommend this restaurant
17/09/2024: I love the concept of all-you-can-eat service with the possibility of REALLY eating whatever you want in Japanese cuisine and the choice offered.
The servers are efficient, attentive and come regularly to check on our orders and our needs.
On the other hand, the place is very noisy and they keep the same plate for each service, which bothers me a little.
But I come there several times a year, always with pleasure... and greed.
