06/08/2026: The new owners truly deserve a chance! They are very welcoming, warm, and attentive to their customers. The new system with table service is actually very pleasant: you can fully enjoy your meal without having to constantly get up. And personally, we even found the quality of the food to be noticeably better than before. A wonderful reopening that we sincerely hope to support. We will gladly return!

30/07/2026: Update 2026: the restaurant has changed ownership, we had come to eat a month before and nothing had changed. And then, surprise! We arrived and everything was different. The service was at the table, the buffet was completely empty, and we were quoted a rather exorbitant price for drinks and a set menu. We were told that sashimi was €3.50 for six thin slices of fish... There was no more music in the establishment, and they calculated your bill directly at your table using a phone... The person was very unwelcoming... There were no more hot towels upon arrival, nor edamame with our drinks... We felt uncomfortable from the start. We glanced at the menu briefly, and when we asked about the prices, we left... I'm really disgusted. It was a favorite restaurant we'd been coming to since 2022... The staff were welcoming, charming, smiling, and very attentive... I wish I had known sooner that this restaurant was changing owners... Coignières has lost a gem... 2022: Small restaurant discovered by chance, small, with attentive and pleasant staff. A small hot towel and edamame were provided upon arrival. Their buffet is small but offers high-quality items, both hot and cold. My only slight complaint is that the miso soup lacked flavor, but that's just my personal opinion. ^^ A special mention goes to the sesame-crusted grilled tuna sashimi – a real treat! 👌 It just goes to show that the best hidden gems are often the smallest restaurants, not those advertised by influencers. We'll gladly return! 🪷

22/08/2026: We innocently came to try what was touted as the best Japanese cuisine in Paris, and imagine our surprise to discover quality dishes... but disastrous service. The level of service deserves a zero. With every interaction, we felt like we were intruding. What were we supposed to do? Hold our breath? Apologize before speaking? Pay for the right to exist? I'm happy to overlook bad service when the food is excellent. But I refuse to enrich a manager who makes her own customers feel like they're intruding. The food makes you want to come back. The manager makes sure you don't. Driving customers away with such regularity is a real skill.

17/08/2026: I was craving sushi and stopped in while passing by. The interior and service are minimal, but the taste, quantity, and price are all excellent. When I tried to return, they were closed for summer vacation, so I'll go again after the holidays.

07/09/2026: My son nearly died after eating at this restaurant (along with a friend who still suffers from the aftereffects to this day) after it reopened (following its closure for hygiene violations!). Absolutely no consideration for human life! His parents are going to file a complaint.

05/09/2026: Very clean and well-maintained establishment, friendly staff, new technology. I highly recommend it.

30/06/2026: Lukewarm rice, fish not very fresh (strong smell and taste). The waiter tried to charge me for a Coke I didn't drink... expensive for the quality.

27/06/2026: Second visit. The first time: okay. The second time, very disappointed. The entrance door scrapes the floor, creating a very unpleasant noise throughout the meal, and everyone in the dining room was complaining. We sat down at the same time as two other tables and had to wait an interminable amount of time before the waiter took our order; in fact, the other two tables had already been served. The restaurant has a large takeaway business, and that's clearly their priority, so dine-in service comes second. The restaurant is air-conditioned, but you barely notice it. And finally, it's definitely not cheap for what you get. For example, a tuna bowl cost €18 for 5 or 6 slices of tuna, an avocado, and rice... In short, this will be my second and last time. There are better and much cheaper options in the city center.

19/08/2026: Very disappointing experience. When it was time to pay, their card machine was not working properly, and they kept asking us to try the payment repeatedly. After several unsuccessful attempts, my wife ultimately had to pay through PayPal, including an additional fee, just so we could leave. What is even more frustrating is that my credit card is still showing two separate charges from the restaurant, despite being told that the card payments had not gone through. We now have to monitor the charges and potentially contact the credit card company to resolve the issue. The entire payment process took so long that we ended up being late for our train. On top of that, while we were there, the electricity in the kitchen suddenly went out while they were cooking. The electrical issue raised safety concerns for me, and I am looking into which local authority would be appropriate to contact regarding what I observed. Unfortunately, the food itself was mediocre as well and certainly did not make up for the experience. Overall, between the average food, the electrical issue, the malfunctioning payment system, having to pay through PayPal with an extra fee, and still seeing two charges on my credit card, this was an extremely frustrating and poorly managed experience. I would not recommend this restaurant. Update – 8/19: My Apple Pay has now confirmed that I was charged twice for the same amount. I now have to spend my own valuable time disputing these duplicate charges, on top of everything else that happened during our visit. What is especially frustrating is that the lady at the counter repeatedly assured me that the transactions had not gone through and that I would not be charged. That turned out to be completely incorrect. Considering the malfunctioning payment system, the power issue in the kitchen, and now confirmed duplicate charges, this whole experience raises serious concerns for me about how this business is being operated. Very disappointing and unacceptable.

31/08/2026: The restaurant was very clean and the waitresses were very pleasant and polite. The dishes served were delicious and the raw fish was of excellent quality; it melted in your mouth. I recommend this restaurant.

01/04/2026: A friend's cafe. It's located in a quiet area. They offer a daily lunch special using organic ingredients. I also love their matcha cheesecake for dessert. The staff are friendly and approachable.

27/02/2026: Excellent Japanese restaurant, just like in Japan. Delicious homemade dishes bursting with flavor. A limited menu, but everything is expertly prepared. The teas are very good. Takeout is available. A wonderful find. Reservations are recommended as it fills up quickly at lunchtime on weekdays.

21/08/2026: I eat at Enishi almost every week. For me, it's one of the best Japanese restaurants in Paris. The team is also incredibly friendly and goes out of their way to make you happy.
