17/01/2026: I placed my order through Uber Eats and called the restaurant to request a change.
The woman took the time to ask the chef, who kindly agreed, even though they weren't obligated to do so.
I'm really very happy with the service, the friendliness, and the attentiveness. Plus, being pregnant, it was a real pleasure to be able to treat myself without any worries.
Thank you again to the whole team; I will definitely recommend them!

The staff were incredibly friendly and made a genuine effort to explain the menu to us, even though we don’t speak French or Japanese. They thoughtfully accommodated all our dietary preferences, carefully noting what to avoid in each dish, and offered excellent recommendations that we truly enjoyed.

16/04/2026: I ordered from them last night! The sushi arrived with no chopsticks or napkins. Their “crunchy” California is basically just a regular California roll with a lil bit of fried onions on top, and you’ll mostly be eating rice with avocado and only a tiny bit of salmon!

25/04/2026: I've ordered a few times, and it's good, no complaints about the taste—just what you expect from Japanese food.
However, it's incredibly expensive! Rice or salad are often missing from the set menus.
They charge an extra €1 for additional sauces, even for a small bottle. When you're spending €140 for four adults and a child, I think they could be more reasonable.

It goes beyond the typical Japanese restaurant experience with its cuisine that blends distinctly French and Japanese ingredients (like the miso and watercress soup). The service is also excellent; it's always a real pleasure.
26/02/2026: Without a doubt, my favorite Japanese restaurant in La Roche-sur-Yon. It goes beyond the usual sushi and skewers and offers a few slightly different dishes if that's what you're looking for. Personally, I stick to the salmon sashimi, which is always delicious. A bit pricey, but worth it. It also has the advantage of being right next to the train station and is therefore easily accessible by public transport.
