16/09/2025: It was with emotion that I went to Kaïten today for the last time. Like many regulars (present today), we have been frequenting the restaurant for over 10 years. The atmosphere was very special, familial and unique. This is undoubtedly due to the attentiveness of the people who work there. Of course, we won't find Japanese cuisine of this quality again tomorrow... We wish the best to the Kaiten team and hope to see you again one day, perhaps on another project! Thank you! Thomas

13/09/2025: Excellent food but the prices are perhaps a little too high.

30/10/2025: Calm and pleasant atmosphere. No music, which is a plus. Fast service. However, limited choices and flavors. The buffet isn't truly all-you-can-eat as there are limits to respect. However, it's generous enough that you don't feel restricted. Restrooms are okay.

24/10/2025: The salmon was fresh and the eel and shrimp sushi roll was delicious!

03/01/2026: A very good restaurant with a varied menu; expect to pay around €20 per person. The waitress was very pleasant and smiling, but the furniture and decor of the dining room are not at all inviting or warm, which is a shame.

28/10/2025: I don't recommend it... upon entering, there was a musty smell in this restaurant where there were only two customers on a Saturday night... the waitress got the entire order wrong. For my son, who doesn't like Chinese dumplings, I asked if it was possible to have spring rolls instead from the set menu, but she refused outright, even though it was only 50 cents more, which I would have gladly paid. I had to order à la carte: €8.50 for a portion of fried rice! The atmosphere was very cold... I won't be going back.

20/01/2026: MAYDAY! MAYDAY! The restaurant has been closed for months, but the fish are still in an aquarium with stagnant water!! Come and give them fresh water, feed them, and clean the aquarium!! IT'S EXTREMELY URGENT!!!!

27/04/2025: Coming to visit the area, we took takeaway for one evening. Very friendly staff, the food was good and they even added extra shrimp chips for the kids. Correct prices

11/12/2025: I absolutely do not recommend it. A few hours after eating at this restaurant, I started to have terrible stomach pain (I hadn't eaten anything else in the meantime). I think the freshness of the salmon needs to be checked…!

07/11/2025: We've ordered sushi several times. The quality-price ratio is unbeatable, everything is always delicious. The staff is very welcoming. As a bonus, there's always a little gift included in the bag.

17/06/2025: Pleasantly surprised by this Japanese restaurant!! Don't hesitate to go there if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed! 🙏🏻 The interior is tastefully decorated (which isn't always the case with Japanese restaurants), the service is great, and the food is INCREDIBLE!!! These are, without a doubt, the best sushi/maki/sashimi we've ever eaten! The fish is fresh and the portions are generous (check out the photo!) 🥰 It's such a shame that the soup, salad, and rice are extras!

10/06/2025: The food is good but the welcome is really bad, especially when ordering takeout. We feel like we're in the way and there's no politeness. If we ask for a second sauce, we're looked down at and then told "there's already some." This doesn't make us want to come back because the behavior is the same every time.

18/01/2026: Excellent restaurant. Impeccable service. I often walked past it without going in because the place was almost empty. They also do takeout. I wasn't disappointed. I'll definitely go back.

08/01/2026: Best Japanese restaurant in all of Clichy! Unbeatable value for money. The food is truly excellent, from sushi to maki and skewers. I highly recommend it.

05/12/2025: We go there often; the food is excellent and the chirashi bowls are overflowing with fish! Go without hesitation. The staff is very kind and welcoming!

19/01/2026: A very trendy Japanese restaurant, but one that unfortunately didn't really win us over. I ordered a soup advertised as spicy, but it wasn't at all, which was quite disappointing. My partner ordered a meat dish that turned out to be far too fatty. In the end, the overall experience left us wanting more, despite the restaurant's popularity. A mixed experience for us, perhaps better suited to other tastes. The Tasty Groundhog

31/01/2026: Excellent sushi and maki. Good, light coleslaw. The service was a bit overwhelmed by the number of customers, less attentive and more reserved, but they were willing to serve quickly.

11/01/2026: One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we sat down, the restaurant owner/manager and kitchen staff (3 people total) were engaged in a very loud, ongoing argument, shouting at each other in Japanese throughout our entire visit. This was not a brief disagreement — it was constant, aggressive yelling that completely destroyed any sense of comfort or hospitality. After receiving our starter, we decided we wanted to leave. However, even requesting the bill was nearly impossible. The staff were so absorbed in their argument that they did not respond to us at all, despite repeated attempts to get their attention. It took approximately 45 minutes just to receive the cheque, during which time the shouting continued unabated. We were also unable to receive the rest of our order. We only stayed as long as we did because we had already been served food. Otherwise, we would have left immediately. Completely unprofessional behaviour, a hostile atmosphere, and zero regard for customers. I would strongly advise avoiding this place.
