I used to really enjoy this restaurant, and in addition to the quality of the food not always being up to par anymore, during my last visit a while ago, the person who served and took our payment made a comment about the weight of the people present, asking if we were going to the gym afterward? A strange way to attract customers…

20/01/2026: I go there very regularly, the manager is super friendly, the California rolls are good, the decor of the place is great, nothing to complain about! And the prices are reasonable!

08/06/2025: Really good food , nice portion , one of the best nem of Marseille , even if it is fusion everything is really well made

08/06/2025: The sandwiches are good but hard to eat. The filling is halfway outside the sandwich, so with each bite, a good portion ends up in your hands. The foil crumbles while you're eating it; you have to painstakingly peel it off while you're eating. Since the sandwich isn't hot, maybe we could do without it?

13/01/2026: Order placed on the Sushishop website in advance on December 31, 2025, for New Year's Eve. The amount was debited, and I received an email stating that the delivery was in progress. The order, costing over €70, was never delivered and was never refunded. The restaurant was closed, which wasn't indicated on the order, yet the payment was still processed. I made several phone calls, but couldn't reach anyone on the day of delivery. Later, the manager promised a refund, but two weeks later, I still haven't received anything. No apology either. I've been a customer for years. It's impossible to file a complaint on the website. Several other customers are in the same situation.

The restaurant was closed, which wasn't indicated on the order, and this didn't prevent the charge. Several phone calls made, impossible to reach anyone. Impossible to file a complaint on the website.

08/11/2025: The Too Good To Go baskets are disgusting. We ordered maki rolls as shown in the description on the app, but ended up with a mixture of stale tuna. We only ate the cucumber ones (8 out of 20 sushi) because we had nothing else to eat.

22/10/2025: If you're looking for sushi, move on. There's nothing here that comes close.

20/11/2025: My partner and I have been there several times now. The waitress is very pleasant and the sashimi is excellent. We highly recommend it!

31/01/2026: Second order delivered in a month, and both times more than forty minutes late. What should have been a hot day isn't, which isn't normal.

24/11/2025: Order announced as 40-minute delivery. Arrived 10 minutes early. Menu with plenty of choices. Pleasant service. Really nothing to complain about. Perhaps the loyalty points system isn't working or there's no explanation. In any case, I ate well, as usual. Thank you.

10/02/2026: I've been a loyal customer for several years and have never been disappointed; the products are fresh and of high quality. The service is impeccable, and we ate there this time.

08/02/2026: Extremely disappointed!!!! It was awful. The sushi wasn't good. I even ordered rice and chicken curry to try it: same thing, it wasn't fresh at all. The service was also terrible: no smiles, no welcome, nothing. We walked in, there was no greeting or anything, they all looked glum, except for the young man, he was alright, but still… Honestly, it was a first and a last time. I think there are a lot of things that need to be improved, especially the quality of the food and the customer service.

12/01/2025: Decent cuisine. There were 2 of us and the restaurant was deserted. We would have appreciated being served at the same time and not 10 minutes apart so we could eat together. Server a little sluggish and room not very clean. Expensive for the food offered and the portions: very little meat in the ramen (3 minslices of duck) and in the other dish whose name I forgot

22/01/2026: I just saw the negative reviews about this establishment… I find it very strange. I come here very often, and on the contrary, the welcome has always been very warm and pleasant, and the value for money is perfectly in line with expectations. I can even say that the curries, which are my favorite dish, are much better and more generous than before. I don't know who is behind these messages (which are all rather similar…), but they don't reflect reality at all.

29/12/2025: Worst sushi of my life in Aix. The waiter was awful, didn't offer wasabi or ginger, had a sour look on his face, and didn't even say thank you or welcome. The worst part was when he started watching TikToks loudly behind the counter. The sushi was bland, the wasabi had no flavor whatsoever. A huge disappointment.

04/02/2026: I went there with friends, the atmosphere was calm, we ate incredibly well, it was delicious, with friendly service. I recommend it!

17/01/2026: Had an early dinner here at Shinjuku Sushi and was greeted warmly upon entry. The food arrived fresh and hot! It was not too busy between 6:30-7:00pm and was not rushed. Sometimes what is mistaken for rudeness is just efficiency. The clientele was split between walk ins and takeaway. Highly recommend

18/12/2025: Well, don't go there for now, it's literally under construction... they could have mentioned that instead of saying it was open

10/12/2025: It's true that the managers haven't managed to make this place appealing. But that doesn't really concern me because I've always done takeout. For that, it does the job. The products are fresh and the prices haven't gone up in years.
